Reveca Beauregard had long ago been dubbed the Queen of Darkness by the dead. To the living she was known as the Pentacle Daughter, the only acknowledged female member of the Pentacle Sons MC, the most lethal biker correlation known to exist. She was rumored to be a witch. That rumor, of course, was true.
New Orleans was her home, at the Beauregard Boneyard, the safe haven the Club resided within. Only those in the inner circle were as Reveca was—immortal. To be as such you had to choose the life, and the life had to choose you. For either to occur, death came first.
Those deaths came from wars the Sons fought with both the mortal and immortal worlds, as they bent the decrees of the modern lawmen and the paranormal world at large who had no hope of opposing the dark splendor of their vengeance.
Presently, the mysterious murder of a mortal coupled with the cold-blooded slaying of Reveca’s close friend has led the lawmen to place their corrupt accusations upon the Sons. A forced barter with a Lord of Death has landed the Club with a soul that is set to rock the foundation the Sons as a whole stand upon.

All I can review is a lot of people liked this. I didn't. I think because its not what I thought it would be. The idea behind it and the plot fascinated me but I couldn't get the authors style of writing. No bad to her. I just thought it jumped around a little too much so I found myself roaming through and just skipping parts. I never do that. I always finish a book. I was lost I couldn't. Sorry.

Get to the point
I had to stop at 68%. The story was winded. Like it couldn't get the point. I don't mind when a story takes a little long tho explain, but I this was over kill.

An epic paranormal MC ride, this sister branch of the series A Web of Heart and Souls, is adult with explicit language and sexual situations drenched with mystery, murder and mythical supernaturals. The story starts off with murder and the mysteries surrounding a drug that enhances a normal person and the war between the lawmen and paranormal MC who are trying to help clean the streets. Slowly it begins divulging into the past of known characters and the reason a Coven was torn apart after escaping their home that was being consumed by evil.
The main female lead Reveca Beauregard is a hardcore boss who fiercely protects her own, with a mysterious past she refuses to revisit until it’s thrown in her face forcing Reveca to rethink her past assumptions and beliefs.
The main male lead Talon is an epically supportive lover and friend, caring for his MC and those under his care and ready to support Reveca in whatever she desires and needs.
The other male lead King is mysterious, swoon worthy and tempting, his past holding secrets Reveca needs yet desperately doesn’t want to know of, the knowledge he has has yet to been revealed but looking forward to when it is.
Supporting characters are awesome, loved them all and hopefully get some of their back story, and am most definitely intrigued by budding romances happening within the MC and for when everyone meets and merges together.

Epic novel
This story is huge it has plot, and subplots. The writing is pretty good, I only found a few errors. It has a good storyline, it made me sit down and read the series in one day. The only drawback is that it kind of drawn out. She does repeat herself but it's a consistent rhythm throughout the book.

I liked the plot idea but there were just too many grammar and usage errors for me to ignore. It just got too annoying.

I love the web heart of souls series so I had to read Edge. Good story. Just hate that it's not a complete book.

I found this box set a very enjoyable surprise, I am not usually a "serial" fan but this story is excellent. It is inventive, gritty and has a captivating storyline that you just can't put down. Reveca is a powerful immortal witch who "rules" the paranormals of the Pentacle Sons MC gang. She is a fascinating character, powerful, strong but also somewhat lost and damaged by her past. The emotional and sexual tension created between her and both Talon and King is breath taking and your heart hurts for them all. She, along with all the "life" characters, have a rawness, an "edge" that draws you to them and makes you feel what they feel. They all seem to possess a "want", a need that is almost palpable, it constantly pulls at them, leaving them searching for something or someone. The details of their lives that the author filters in as the story progresses not only gives depth to the characters, but builds and enriches the world as a whole. It is a well written book that contains many surprises, twists and turns, with characters lives crossing and intertwining in unpredictable and sometimes heart wrenching ways. A complicated tale of love, want, mystery and the paranormal. I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to reading the next set of books in the series.

I was so lost during this book. There is so much going on. A new paranormal world, tons of characters, tons of beings, tons of backstories......it was a lot to take in. I liked it, I really did. The characters were very interesting and the world that Magee has created is one of a kind. But it was sensory overload in every which way. Every time I would think I was following the story and had the gist of things, something would change, or a new being or character would get thrown into the mix and I would be lost again. There seemed to be a lot of history between all of the characters, so I'm not sure if there is a series before this one that I should have read first, or if I'm just easy to confuse. Either way, I am intrigued enough that I definitely want to continue on with this series and see where it goes.

Alphas Rise
I really enjoyed this book. The book was free and is a brilliant way to get your attention. There are many different characters all with different "gifts" and stories, some you get to know, some you are left guessing about. The characters all interact smoothly and in some parts with humour. You can't help but get involved with the story. I found the story a little confusing at times but as I read on it became clearer. There are a few twists and I can't wait to see what happens. If you are looking for something a little different to read then this series has a great feel to it. I would recommend this book.

I received this ARC set for a honest review.
I have never read a MC series such as this one. Each character brings another twist into this world.
Reveca is awesome. Keeping her family safe and sound his her main concern. The details between her and Talon make my heart soar. When you mix King in, I get so confused but in a very good way.
I cannot wait to read more.

A must read
I had only read two of the insight books by this author but I wanted to try this book. At first i wasn't too sure about it, wasn't sure where it was going but that didn't last too long. After that I loved it, especially learning about all the different characters pasts and reveca's gift - how it works. I can't wait to read more in this series

I love world of paranormals, with writers special kind of view. Some are good, some average. I like this one. It has special puzzle pieces to work on. Different stories that colide together to create greatess. I've just read Alphas Rise on Kindle, first four Episodes of Edge series and was suck in this world of Immortals.

I absolutely love this series! I can't wait for more seasons tome come out. If you like romance, mystery and paranormal this is one of the best. I enjoyed all of the different characters their powers.

Glad I got the boxset
I really enjoyed this but all the different parts was driving me crazy. This seems like a great start to a series hopefully. I pretty much want bad things to happen to everyone outside of the Rev, the crew and King.
