Detective Cruz Montoya flies down to San Antonio, TX, when the police department calls him to find out where he's been and what he's been doing because his ex-wife is being stalked. She'd suddenly divorced him leaving him to think that she was having an affair with her boss and followed him to Texas. Now her car has been trashed, followed by her condo. She really doesn't want her ex-husband around as a with his police safety protocol, even after someone tries to shove her in the river and trashes her office. Keeping her secret is more important to her than finding her stalker.

I received this book through first reads. Thanks so much! This was a great book! I am a reader of romance but normally historical so this was a change for me. The story was very good and the book really kept me reading as I finished it in one night! I really like that the characters were people you could relate to and you really wanted them to get back together,as they are perfect for each other. I will continue to read books by this author as I really think she writes a great supenseful romance book! I am also going to expand my reading horizons and try some more of this type of book.
