If you are a lover of animals, this is a book for you !
Imagine driving forever, not knowing where you are when you stop at night. Drawn into a group of people in a diner, in a town in Wyoming. She has secrets, but then so does everybody else !! Miriam finally decides she is going to get the quiet man to take off his sunglasses, so she could see his beautiful eyes, or so she was told!! Eventually, she finds out this quiet man
has an animal rescue farm!!! She is very intrigued! The in’s and out’s of these people finally becomes like family!!! She is falling for the quiet man that always sits at the end of the counter! Then, after several months, her HUSBAND walks into the diner!!!!
You have to read this to see how it all ends up !! It’s
awesome !!! Thank you, Mr. Griffith

Miriam was running. Running from a mistake, no, more than a mistake, a sin.
Ruben was hiding. Hiding from actions that had fatal consequences.
Second To None, an injured, and starved retired racehorse was trying to survive.

The three met in a small town, in the middle of winter, in Wyoming. The natives say all things have spirits. Would they find spirits enough to forgive themselves? Would they be willing to face the past in order to build a new future? Would they take another risk? Would they give themselves a second chance?

Reading this book is like being there in real life!

I feel like I just finished a Zane Grey story as few authors can make you feel like you are riding right along with the book! I have never rode the country in this book, but I had family who lived in Banner Wyoming and can envision all of it! Loved the way the end of the story fills in the mystery behind both of them and leaves you sighing! Loved the storyline too!

Great story that needed an editor

Really enjoyed the story, but the spelling and word choice problems are glaring. Definitely worth reading, if you can get past the obvious mistakes that a decent editor should have caught and corrected.

Second's Chance

A long story which failed to hold my interest. I have read almost 30% and could not continue to read anymore.
