She was supposed to be off-limits. He never much cared for following rules.

Cece
When I first came to Shine, I was quiet, sweet, and compliant. That’s all I ever knew. Anything else meant punishment and pain in my old life.

Now the rage inside of me is eating me alive, and everyone has all but given up on trying to help.

Except the one man who has always stood by my side.

No matter how horrible and cruel I am to him, he refuses to leave, refuses to let me fall into the black hole I’m not sure I want out of.

His gentle touches and sweet smiles are nothing I’ve ever known, and it ignites feelings in me I didn’t think possible after barely surviving the hellhole I was raised in.

But he wants that sweet girl he met, and I don’t know if he can accept the woman who rose from the ashes of her horrific past to become the nightmare for the monsters who once terrified her.

Cash
She came to the clubhouse terrified of her own shadow, thrust into a new life with complete strangers far away from everything she knew.

I made sure she felt safe and protected, and she became the salve that eased the pain of losing a brother.

I wasn’t supposed to notice the way she blushed so prettily when I held her gaze for too long, or the way she looked so damn tempting every time she gave me a real smile.

I sure as hell wasn’t supposed to crave that smile against my lips.

Giving into temptation would blow our world apart, and it’s getting harder and harder for me to care.

But the past has a not so funny way of showing up when we least expect it.
The monsters from hers need to be dealt with once and for all before they find a way to cause her more pain.

They will pay for hurting my woman then, and I’ll make damn sure they’re buried six feet under before they ever have a chance to do it again.

OMG! OMG! OMG!! This MC club has my whole heart!! Literally my fave from the whole series! While this one has a bit of a darker start, it definitely ends on a bright note. I love how Kate was able to give us a different vibe with this one, while still giving us the club and men we all love. I swear each man gets better and better that I fear my harem is gonna be all the men from this club.

I ate this book up. It dropped in my inbox AM and by PM I had finished it and that was with a days work in between and kids!

I couldn't put it down, I love this series and I loved Cash. This wasn't my favourite book of the series though. Which made me conflicted between a 3.5🌟.

I understood the trauma the FMC went though and I could feel as she fought for an identity she had no idea what and who she was.

I felt Cash' grief too, how they would orbit around each other for peace while both dealt with their own broken parts.

I think I wanted more from the FMC. I read her pain and her path for overcoming that became a hell yeah so these men who woman can really be but then it kind of stopped. There was no real development to that side of the story for her and I was a little disappointed and I felt like Cash had been so supportive and patient. I felt some of the filler so have been less and given him some more depth to what he had already shown and a little more grace for what he had been able to do to bring Ceecee some solice in her pain.

This was still a great read and I always love the banter between the bikers, that in itself is always a hit! Especially when these big tough men go soft for their family.

I was very fortunate to receive this book as an Arc but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to read this Arc and I hope others enjoy these bad bikers and some good old revenge too!

I was hooked from the first chapter, Cash and Cece have been through so much in their pasts, but the calm that they provide each other is time to treasure.

We quickly get into Cece’s trauma and drama in her life as a child and early adult. Her lack of identity due to her raising, but a trip to the nearby city opens her eyes. Her sister getting away but ultimately returning gets both girls away from their west coast life for good.

Cash is full of grief, but also part of Cece’s liberation. The two are broken, but at peace together.
The Black Roses MC takes care of their own and this how the two meet. This club is on the darker side, the family is quite funny at times. I love Cece’s sister Lucy, and her nickname of Lucifer, I love that some of the guys are intimidated by her, as they should be. The banter is great. I am looking forward to what we get next.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

This book did a really good job of putting my heart through the wringer and keeping me on the edge of my seat. Cash and Cece are incredible characters, and their story is raw, gritty, potent, powerful, intense, emotional and captivating.

Absolutely love Cash 💖
Cece is a little annoying to me as a character but their story is a wild ride!
The struggles and the chaos these two go through is a lot, but Kate as always does a great job of wrapping the story up in a neat little bow! 🎀 Cannot wait for what comes next!

'Cash' is a glorious journey of healing, and reading as Cece grew from her trauma was empowering.
Seriously, I freaking love Cash and how sweet he is with Cece! Listen, to be honest, he's not the man I saw her with when we first met her in Jude and Lucy's story in Book 2 (which was all complete fiction I made up in my head), BUT I can admit that I'm very wrong. There's no denying how beautiful these two are together!

Thank you for gifting me an advanced reader copy. Review reflective of my personal opinions

Cecee has been struggling since her sister Lucy and the Black roses rescued her from the cult they were born into and terrible things that happened to her.
Cash still feels the guilt over his best friend Cooper been killed protecting her sister Lucy.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and finding out what happened to Cecee.

“I’ll hold you anytime you need. I don’t know how I got so damn lucky, but I’m never letting you go.”

To be honest, I loved this couple because Cash really understands Cece—he doesn’t know the full extension of her trauma at the beginning, I have to add—and Cece is capable of recognize her own mistakes, even though that she can’t help it; she’s very impulsive sometimes. Their age difference—Cash’s twelve years older than Cece, something that was an issue for him at some point because he felt he was too old for her and he didn’t wanted to take advantage of Cece because of that—works because Cece, as impulsive as she can be, is very mature thanks to her life experiences.

After reading WYATT, I had huge expexctaions of this book, and Ms. Randall delivered masterfully. Well written scenes, excellent continuity and a great storyline, CASH is one of the best MC Romance books I’ve read in a long time, maybe ever. And the unexpected hint from next book was simply spectacular.

🌹 The Black Rose MC Returns 🌹

The Black Rose MC returns with the sixth book in the series; Cash. This book can be read as a standalone in an interconnected series, but as always, I recommend reading in order to get the most out of the book. Cash is a dark MMC, age gap, forbidden romance filled with past trauma from loss and spicy scenes that will have you running for the privacy of your own room. 😉

We meet Cece in book two of this series (Lucy and Jude) and ever since that I've been eager to see what Ms. Kate has in store for her. Cece hasn’t had it easy, but she is a trooper that keeps pushing through, her story is peppered with nothing but chaos and over time the sweet young girl has learned how to rage. With Cash as her protector and guide (kinda) Cece slowly grows into the person she wants to be, she stumbles though, be warned. There are going to be moments in this book that you are going to be scratching your head and uttering “WTF is this woman doing?!” Cash however is there to protect her and never judge her for the things she has experienced, he truly is so sweet and gentle with her and only her, it makes his character very well rounded.

Overall, Cash is a fast paced read that fans of the series are going to really enjoy. There is nothing like seeing a character that has been with the series from the near get-go, finally get the HEA that we all know we wanted. As always, check your trigger warnings and enjoy the next adventure with the Black Roses MMC.

Next to Knox, Cash was the ARC I was looking forward to the most this year. I couldn't wait to read Cece's side of the story and find out how Cash has been helping her cope with everything that happened. Plus learn more about Cash in general. I was invested in the little pieces we got about these two in Wyatt.

Kate Randall didn't disappoint! Cash is definitely knocking on Knox's door as my favorite Black Roses MC club brother....but no one tell Knox 😁.

This was a story of healing. With the perfect amount of humor and intimacy. I read it in one day and didn't want to put it down. Easily one of the best books I read all year.

Protective Jude and Lucy were chef's kiss.

“I want you to punch him in the face right now. He’s taking advantage of the situation with Cece. My sister.”.....“You know what. You won’t knock his teeth in? Fine. I’ll fucking do it.” 😂😂😂 LMAO

The ending of this book was everything I cried real tears 😭😭.

The bombshell in the epilogue floored me, and I'm impatient that I have to wait until March to read the next book.

Favorite Quotes:

“I hear you, sweetheart, but now you have me to help you swim.”

Even when I felt like I was drowning.”“I told you, sweetheart—you’ve got me to help you swim now.”

"No, I think you’re a vengeful goddess who slayed her demon. I think you’re amazing.”

"The only thing I see when I look at you is the man I love. The man who has been there with me through my darkest days"

"Only Jude would fall for someone after he cleaned up the murder scene."

Relief and joy! I was thrilled to receive an ARC of Cash and finally dive into Cece’s story. Ever since we first met her in Lucy and Jude’s book and caught glimpses of her throughout the Black Roses MC universe; I’ve been eagerly waiting for her happily ever after.

Though the title is Cash, this book felt like Cece’s journey through and through. It’s easily one of my top favorites in Kate Randall’s world. Her story is layered with emotional depth: trauma, rage, guilt, anger, the search for purpose, and ultimately, self-worth. Watching Cece grow over the past few books has been powerful, but in this one, she truly steps into her strength, becoming a quiet, formidable force. I loved that for her.

Cash was everything we could hope for in a match for Cece: protective, unwavering, and deeply respectful of her goals. He never tried to overshadow her or steer her away from her path, even when his instinct was to protect. He stood by her, supported her, and understood her in a way that felt so right and unique to them.

I absolutely loved this book. If you're a fan of Kate Randall or the Black Roses MC series, this is a must-read. Add it to your TBR…you won’t regret it!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the story of Cash and Cece. I have to warn you that when you pick up this book you are not going to be able to lay it down. Cece has been though a lot and because of that she is suffering through a lot of trauma. Cash is a man dealing with a lot of grief. I think this book has all the emotions you can think of in it. Grief, trauma, anger, rage, guilt, trying to find your purpose, and self worth. I loved that we got to see Cece grow in this book. It was a thing to behold. She is certainly a force to be reckoned with. Cash to me was the perfect match for Cece. He is protective, unwavering in this support and would cheer on her in anything she really wanted to do. He wants the best for her even if it goes against the need to protect her from everything. I loved this book. I know I didn't tell you about the story. I think that you need to experience it for yourself. But I loved every word of it.

Let’s talk about CeCe-
This girl has been through HELL!
She was raised in a cult-
Married at 15 and raped by her husband and several other bikers for 7 years!
Now she gets rescued by her sister and the Black Roses—
It’s 2 years later and she’s miserable, nasty, an alcoholic, and pushing everyone away who loves and cares about her—
Now she has to get a pass for her behavior because no one in her life has made sure she’s gotten extensive therapy for PTSD?????
I mean everyone dances around her.. they all tell her they love her and want her to talk about her past— that’s it??
No one knows what happened to her and she does not know how to get past it so she’s just plain miserable—- it’s very frustrating that no one has thought to push her into therapy because no one wants to push her and I’m finding it very hard to like her…
Cash has always been an amazing friend to her for the last two years-
One day she just wakes up, decides to train with a vigilante named Roman and is able to just admit her feelings to Cash and have sex like she wasn’t raped over and over for seven years??

This is the 6th story in The Black Roses MC Series where Cash and Cece have been each other’s support trying to heal their broken past. Cece is Lucy’s younger sister and has been struggling after being rescued from several years of trauma. To earn some pocket money Cece bakes selling her yummy goods at weekend markets and she thankful to have Cash around who genuinely cares about her well being. When life gets to hard emotionally Cece starts drinking causing problems and the constant stress and pressure from Lucy finds her raging. It’s wonderful to see how Cece finds an outlet on her own and does what others try to protect her from. When Cash tries to move on himself he ends up having Cece help him in smalls ways that mean the world to him. These two decide to become more than friends in secret and once Lucy discovers their secret she goes nuclear and Cash makes a stand to be Cece’s and the MC supports them!

This is the sixth installment of the Black Roses MC series but can be read as a standalone. It does go into quite a bit of detail about many characters who are not featured in this story so it may be more enjoyable if you have read the previous books.
This is well-written and has a gripping prologue but to get straight to the point, I did not enjoy this book and would not recommend it to other readers because the FMC Cece is EXHAUSTING. She makes the exact wrong decision at every turn and continues to hurt those who love her and she loves all the way until the end of the book. Cash, on the other hand, is wonderful and a likable MMC. The plot twists were all expected and it felt like the book should have been 50% shorter.

Cece finally gets her book!!!!! I have wondered how her story was going to go and honestly, didn't go where I thought it was going to go. Not in a bad way.
For the longest time I thought something was going to happen between her and Liam, Jude's brother. Honestly, happy that didn't happen. Cash is just what she needed. He is the perfect amount of laid back but also pushy that she needed.
Both have gone thru so much, leaning on each other in their own way makes sense.
Cece on her own is such a complex character that really has shown such growth and change that is surprising. I wish we dived in to some important parts of what she was doing with Roman.

Thanks to The Next Step PR and Kate Randall for the opportunity to read an ARC in exchange for an honest review!

This is the 6th book in this amazing series, and this is Cece and Cash’s story.
Cece is feisty, and fueled by rage, and haunted by demons, when she arrives at the clubhouse, terrified, and thrust into a life she knows nothing about. Cash makes sure that Cece is protected and kept safe, and refuses to give up on her, no matter how cruel she is, and he is unwavering in his support for her.
This is a well written action-packed story, with found family, friendships, emotions, trauma, tension, danger, suspense, intrigue, vengeance, forbidden romance, an age gap, humour, witty banter, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, dark MC romance.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Cece is a survivor, and she is one strong woman who hasn’t let the bad things in life drag her down. And Cash, is the perfect man to love her, support her, while being there for her through her ups and downs.

There’s lots of triggers in this book so do check out the content warnings before you start reading this. Personally, I am inspired by Cece’s journey in reclaiming what she has lost, as she builds up her strength, and find joy in doing what she loves.

This was another amazing book in the series and I look forward to reading Barrett’s book next.

This was my first book by this author and I really enjoyed Cece and Cash. Cece has had a rough life, being married off at sixteen and used by whoever her MC husband thought appropriate, used her as a pawn and bargaining chip for business. When she hears her sister is back, this is not good, Lucy was out, living her life and now trapped again or is she? Will her new life come looking for her and bring Cece a protector? All Cash wants is to protect Cece and show her what life is really meant to be. Great read, looking forward to more from this author.

This journey started with a heck of a kaboom and kept on giving until the very end! You do not want to miss Cash & Cece’s journey. Get ready for some serious abuse, anger and mental health issues but also finding a man that is willing to stand beside you, support you and love you with his entire being (after he has his alpha protectiveness conniption fit 🤣) can Cece finally get the closure she needs or do they lose it all? Loved it!

I absolutely loved this story.

Cash and Cece completely pulled me in. She’s been through so much, and seeing her find her strength and finally start to heal was really good. Cash is that loyal, protective guy you can’t help but love, and their connection just feels so real. Jude added some great moments too, I couldn’t help but smile at how British he is.

The story has a good mix of emotion, tension, and hope. It definitely kept me hooked from start to finish.

Cece has spent her life in a cult and suffered from some unspeakable acts. When her sister Lucy returns to get her out and help her and the others she finally has a chance to be free. She meets Cash and they form a connection each recognizing pain in the other. It is emotional Cece goes through some hard stuff more than once. Cash and her do have a great bond and will do anything even if it means taking revenge but especially protecting his woman. I love Lucy she is a total riot.

Okay, but hard to believe Cece didn’t try to leave the cult at some point. It seemed like she was allowed to go into town and buy baking supplies, so she wasn’t under lock and key. When she was 15 and Lucy left, she still believed in what her parents were telling her but after they married her off to Otto and the raping began, she knew it was a very bad place. Then to add the repeated gang raping by the Bone Breakers for 6! years and she still just stays?!! Pretty hard to believe.

Black Roses MC book 6 is Cash and Cece's story. My heart ached for Cece. She endured a lot of trauma and heartache and Cash was just what she needed. He seemed so compassionate and supporting with her and really, how can you not love a man who holds his woman together when she's struggling. This was a one sitting read for me and I completely enjoyed their journey.

The Only reason i did not give 5 whole stars to this novel was because the book felt incomplete. There were too many questions that were unanswered. Wheteher Cece still continued her vigilante work with Roman, did Cash tell his brothers about Roman. Would have love to see a crossover meet between Nova and Cece since Nova was so important to Cash. There were just too many unanswered questions.

This story was so good!! Cece has been through it and then through it some more! Watching find her inner strength and really come into her own was amazing! Cash being able to be there for her in the way she needs was just pure acceptance of her needs and the woman she is becoming. Such a great story!!!!

Cash and Cece’s book is exactly what I expected and hoped for. Cece really went through so much and needed someone to show her they were there beside her to walk through all the hard stuff with her. Cash was a good one to do that.
