Ali wonders how she can ever recover from the heartache, the pure torture, that Riley has put her through. She put herself out there, let herself fall for him, and again was crushed into a million tiny pieces. Forgiveness isn’t an option. He doesn’t deserve it.
But there are two sides to every story and Riley won’t let her go without a fight. He knows how it looks—bad. If only she would give him the chance to explain, to tell her the truth, he knows he can win her back. He has to. She’s his everything. She’s irreplaceable.
Has he gone too far this time? Is Ali gone from his life forever? He can’t face that reality, and neither can Ali.

Elizabeth Nelson is a romance writer who loves to interlace reality and love with suspense and thrill. Her stories will tickle your fancy and leave you wanting more.
I really liked reading about Riley and Ali, there romance was very explosive. I chose this series because it has two of my favorite ingredients college and girl being dumped by boyfriend finding new much better love interest. The story and the characters were very well written although I prefer for the steamy scenes to be with the couple that is the main focus. Once the couple meets I prefer not to see any scenes between them and other people, call me old fashion. The author did redeem herself later in the book with the love that blooms between Riley and Ali.
So I really liked the first four books in this series. The cliffhangers were amazing. This book was a little too drama queen for me. Ali was just too simpering and not even listening to Riley and making instant assumptions and accusations without an ounce of information to back those assumptions/accusations up. Her responses were too sniffling and childish for me. I was excited for this book too because as I said, the first four were really, really good!!
The story of Ali & Riley was captivating & I found myself absorbed with their story. Their relationship appeared doomed from the start, or so it seemed; both were young, she had only had one serious relationship & he hadn't ever let himself experience one. There was a great deal of development throughout the 5 episodes, & just like previous books by Elizabeth Nelson, we were treated to a very intense love affair with all the ups & downs you could imagine & some downright incredible & shocking.
All on its not a bad series of books, but of I'm being fully honest I thought Riley was an arse.... Yeah he has commitment issues, I get that, but there's commitment issues then there's a moral compass... I think his was broken.... the guy had a girl he felt connected too but still had to shag around.... Ali wasn't much better lurking around bars and getting drunk when they fought....
The whole series was something I couldn't put down. The story grabbed my attention from the start and didn't let go til the end. Greatly written and only wish it wouldn't have ended.
