BREAKING THE ICE A second-chance love story between a superhot ex-NHL star and the straitlaced event planner that comes barging back into his life.
Zachary McAllister's entire life revolves around hockey and sex, in that order. When a career-ending injury changes everything, he’s left mourning the life that could have been. Now the owner of a rundown local pub, the ex-NHL star finds himself grappling with his "ordinary" existence, trying to come to terms with a very uncertain future.
His former team is on track to win the 2003 Stanley Cup Championship without him, and preparations are being made for a victory party at the bar.
Enter Avery Brooks. She’s the straitlaced event planner hired to arrange the party, thanks to her father's connections. Her father who just happens to be the General Manager for the NJ Devils… and the guy who handed Zac his walking papers four years ago.
Suddenly, Avery finds herself face-to-face with her teenage crush. The two had a minor flirtation going on back in the day, when Zac was just an arrogant, womanizing rookie and Avery was a naive, starry-eyed fan.
Their chemistry is undeniable, but both are completely different people than they were all those years ago.
In order for this fiery Devil to melt the heart of an ice princess, Zac will need to up his game. All he needs to do is relearn everything he ever thought he knew about how to play.
Breaking the Ice was written based on the input and suggestions from readers. From the characters’ names to their occupations to the years this story takes place, the entirety of this narrative has been created by (and for) readers like you.

READ WHEN YOU’RE IN THE MOOD FOR: Sweet, inspiring, a little funny, a little angsty, a little sexy
T. Torrest is a romance and chick-lit author from the U.S.; her alter ego writes eroticomedy under the name T. Torrid. Her stories are geared toward readers of any age that know how to enjoy a good laugh and a dreamy romance.
Ms. Torrest was a child of the eighties, but has since traded in her Rubik's cube for a laptop and her Catholic school uniform for a comfy pair of yoga pants. She's a pop-culture junkie, a movie aficionado, and an enthusiast of talking about herself in the third person. A lifelong Jersey girl, she currently resides there with her husband and two sons.
She also really digs it when she hears from readers, and is known to use words like "dig" in a non-sarcastic way. You can find out more about her books at her website: www.ttorrest.com
She also LOVES to get friend requests on goodreads and facebook http://www.facebook.com/pages/TTorres... and personal messages from readers via email ttorrest@optonline.net.
I was bored through most of it, but kept reading anyway. I hoped it would get more exciting but overall it was just meh. Nothing really bad, however not for me.
Ok, so I just NEED to start by saying how absolutely incredible this book was. I absolutely adore a sports romance, throw in a second chance into the mix and I’m gonna love that bad boy no matter what and that’s exactly what this book is, a sports romance with a second chance.
As soon as I began reading this I knew I wouldn’t be able to put it down and it’s the reason why I’m currently sat up at 1:04 in the morning writing this review. I HAD to finish it, I couldn’t possibly not, I NEEDED to know what was going to happen.
Ave and Zac were the perfect characters. They both loved but didn’t show, they both tried to shelter their hearts from heartbreak when all they both wanted was a forever, preferably together. Reading their story has been fascinating and refreshing. I liked that the author didn’t have them instantly in bed together, I liked that the build up was slow and the way it all played out. I was rooting for them from the get go because come on, they’re perfect!
This is my first read from this author and I’m beyond excited to have discovered her work. I’ll certainly be coming back to read more.
A really cute read in typical T Torrest style, yes there was a few tears to boot but I am that sentimental weepy sap. I loved the characters, second chance love is one of my faves and I thoroughly enjoyed it. (full review to come)
I was a little skeptical of an author handing over creative control to her readers. Sure, the author has final say, but how can it work without the ideas and inspiration coming from the author? But I went into the book because the Remember When series is one of my all-time favorite book series and T. Torrest knocked those books out of the park...
Then I started Breaking the Ice. And I loved every word. Torrest has the uncanny ability to make the characters so lovable, while also imperfect. They can be stubborn, cocky, and downright pigheaded. BUT they are so lovable you can't help but fall in love with them, root for them, cherish them.
Breaking the Ice is no different. This story had so much going for it that it's hard to put it into words. Torrest is able to make her books angsty, but not so angsty that it's overkill. Sweet, but not tooth achingly so. Sexy, but not dirty. I can't say enough. Her writing is beautiful, her characters are amazing, her books are wonderful.
Zac and Avery have found their way to one of my favorite book couples. Their love story is hard fought, they had a lot to overcome, and at times it was beyond heartbreaking, but I loved every moment. I wanted the book to continue on forever. When I hit the end, my heart sunk because it was over.
I can't say enough about this book or T. Torrest. Breaking the Ice was so beyond my expectations. I highly, highly recommend it.
Well, I mean, if I needed any more proof that T Torrest was my favorite author, this book definitely finalized the deal. Because this. Book. Was. Phenomenal.
Torrest has turned me into an iPad hugger. It's like I can't help but pull my beautiful, beautiful iPad - fully equipped with a well-used Kindle app - in for a hug after reading one of her books. I've felt this response before, while reading the Remember When trilogy, but let's be real ... If an author can make you so desperate to give characters hugs that you're willing to hug a decidedly un-huggable electronic device, the author has talent.
T Torrest has this in spades.
I started this book completely biased. I'm a huge sucker for stories about hockey, I mean, I live in the friggin' "state of hockey" for goodness sakes. The first thing my husband bought when he realized I was pregnant was a mini hockey jersey, and my son was in skates as soon has he could walk. Obsessed. We are obsessed with hockey. So when T Torrest decided to open her next book up and have her readers decide on major plot points, heck YES I voted for the main character to be an ex-hockey player. There's something so perfect about a burley, potentially toothless male.
Hah.
So yeah, I came into this book, knowing I was going to like it. I just didn't know how much I was going to LOVE it.
Right from the beginning of the story, a humorous yet tragic magic surrounds the cast and storyline (tragic-magic is an annoying combo, but truly, they are the words that best describe the plot). This isn't just a fluff piece, it isn't just a been-there, done-that tale about a hockey star who fell for a non-puck-bunny-puck-bunny. This is a beautifully written novel about life when things get unpredictable and how to put the pieces back together when you aren't really even sure you're working with a puzzle in the first place.
T Torrest has this way with characters where she makes the people she writes about into real mother-friggin humans who you want to be BFFs with, and in this case, have a drink with. She doesn't skim on details, in fact, she makes a point to create some of the best-described-characters-in-the-least-tedious-way.
If you're looking for a book that will make you laugh and then shake an angry fist and then tear up and then grit your teeth and then chuckle and then cry, by all means, this book is PERFECT for you. In fact, I suggest you buy a copy of this book for all you book loving friends - you won't be disappointed.
Six plus-plus-plus-T-Torrest-is-a-writing-goddess stars.
First, I have to say that I absolutely LOVED the concept of this book. With the fans being able to dictate a lot of the details and how the story would go. I think that was awesome and it's what drew me to this story.
Unfortunately, I don't think it worked out so well.
I adored the first part when we are in Avery's head. It's when Zac takes over the POV that it goes downhill. For the life of me I couldn't figure out what this story was supposed to be about when he took over. Is it Avery and Zac's love story? Maybe, we do get a smidgen of that in there. Is it the history and workings of the bar? Cause we get quite a bit of that. Is it random thoughts that seem to pop up out of nowhere? Because that's the majority of what I read.
Probably a good 40% (if not more) of the book is (in my opinion) completely irrelevant. Entertaining little side stories, sure, but the fact of the matter is this is SUPPOSED to be a story about Avery and Zac together. And sadly, we don't really get a lot of that. We get snippets here and there, and a few longer periods, but still. Even when they are together in the same scene, the scene is not necessarily about them. Example would be all the time we spent reading about the Norman Festival- they were together, but we weren't really TOLD anything about them or see anything beyond their working relationship. We're told more about how the band is outside and how the bar is doing great business and how the town isn't really as uppity as Zac once thought.
The actual writing (as far as grammar, punctuation etc, etc.) was good. But the storyline just didn't hit it's mark.
this was a lighthearted, quick read. i enjoyed this author's prior series so i knew straight away i'd give this standalone a shot. i was a bit hesitant going in though, knowing the author made this a reader/fan generated story and i'd never seen that before. i felt it could go either way but for the most part it's a fun little romance. it did get a little cheesy at times and predictable but that's alright it's a feel good book, very low on drama and angst. once you've read it however it's easy to move on from, the story isn't new and it's been done before but sometimes you need a good shot of sweet and t. torrest brings the sweet mixed with the witty very well.
i do wish we could have got a little more of avery's history before she came back to town. that left a big gap of the unknown. it all moved very fast and a little too perfect when she rolled back in but over all it's enjoyable, both jake and avery are down to earth characters and i wanted happiness for them but at times i did want to shake some sense into avery.. she was so indecisive in regards to jake but a go getter when it came to her event planning and that left me irritated a few times while reading.
i'm hoping now that this has been written we'll see 'down the shore' released in the not too distant future. i can't wait to get my hands on that book!
I loved it . Breaking the ice is reader "inspired " and as I read the story I would think "yeah , that had my vote " T . Torrest never disappoints , her stories are funny , flow well and hot . Zac and Avery has great chemistry from the start , you can't help but root for them . I also adored all the supporting characters from the bar customers to that pet bird " Shut up , Magnum ! Shut up Magnum !" Lol. T . Torrest is a must read every time !!!!!! Pick this book up if you love well written books that make you laugh , have a bit of angst and hot hockey players . Actually just read this book and if you haven't yet , read the Remember When series too !!!! You won't be disappointed .....
This was super cute from the very beginning. Told from Avery and Zack's POV, but in two parts which I liked. Avery and Zack go from friends to feelings before events pull them apart. Years later they are given a second chance but cautious before trying to pick things up again romantically.
Let me preface this by saying I have read all of Ms. Torrest's books (RW and DTS) and I absolutely adore all the characters she has introduced us to in these books. Breaking the Ice is no exception. T Torrest has shown us yet more characters in her Norman, NJ smorgasbord of stories for us readers to actually admire and have a vested interest in. As with her other books, Ms. Torrest's writing style has once again sucked me into the story and held my page-turning interest. I do agree with other reviewers that this one was a SLOOOOOOOOW, hurry-up-and-lets-get-to-the-good-part love story, but I understand what Ms. Torrest's intention was here.
The first part of Breaking the Ice was told from the point of view of Avery Brooks, where we see firsthand her immediate attraction to Mr. Zac McAllister upon their first meeting. I loved reading her story of how they grew to become friends through the years, something that seemed to be mutually agreed upon between them, although at times the attraction they both seemed to have for each other peeked out. I LOVED everything about how it all played out, especially the events of New Years Eve 1998. Something happens soon thereafter, and we don't pick up in the story until 4 years later.
This is where our lovely Zac gets to start telling the story from his point of view. Once reading this part, I started sensing that this story was really not going to be the typical kind of love story us one-clickers crave. And it wasn't, and it was refreshing! Because sometimes too many sex scenes does not allow for substance and a believable story to be told. But I digress... Anyhow in this part, we got a lot of the background on Zac, and his feelings for Avery and how he dealt with the happenings in his life since he last saw her. I understand many other reviewers thought there were parts that were "boring" or "irrelevant", but I believe it was vital in order to show a real and believable transformation of Zac into the man he grew to become by the end of the story. Also during this part, we see through Zac's eyes how Avery has grown into the woman she was destined to be. And all those details some thought were inane and unnecessary? Well I honestly think they tied the story together really, really well through the span of years the events took place in. One final note about Zac's part: I loved Magnum and Zac's girl description based on her drink order. Soooo cute!
All in all, I felt this was a lovely story, and yes it was slow and painful to get to the point we were all dying for, but it added much appreciated substance to this story. So calling it a love story is still valid, but its probably not the kind of love story most are looking for in this kind of genre. I think I also would've liked to read some more from Avery's point of view in the later years. Regardless, this was an excellent read and I really, really hope to read more about the other McAllister brothers (hint, hint Finn!).
It's a strange concept with Breaking the Ice, I remember following Torrest while she was writing this, the tag line of "our love story" couldn't be more appropriate, this was a reader/fan directed story, the author accepting suggestions and thoughts along the way, granted Torrest had first and final say in how the story would progress, but it was kind of like having the worlds biggest beta team, a task that would seem quite daunting to even the most seasoned author.
I had had this little gem sitting on my kindle for months, since release day actually, but as any avid reader or blogger will understand your tbr gets out of control and you lose track of what book is next to read. I'm kicking myself for that oversight even now as I write this review. Breaking the Ice was a little slower than Remember When or Down the Shore was for me, this is a slow burn kind of story, we slowly see the connection developing between Avery and Zac. We seem every side of both of them as friendship blooms and an unspoken chemistry grows.
Zachary McAllister "MANIAC" is a demon on the ice, he's a young, up and comer for the NJ Devils NHL team, hockey and women are his primary focuses, hockey may be involve a lot of work but women falling at his feet is certainly no hardship. Whats a young guy hitting his professional stride supposed to do but take advantage of the perks that come with being an up and coming sportstar.
Avery Brookes is the daughter of the GM of the NJ Devils, while off at college Avery can almost forget most of the people from her home town think of her as one of the boys, she studies, has a decent social life and enjoys the college lifestyle. When visiting home she meets her dads newest recruit, Zac McAllister and the rest they say is history...or is it... from first meetings these two aren't destined for anything past a few snarky jabs at one another. But this right here is the beauty of Torrest's writing, the way she builds her stories, layers her characters, nothing ever feels one dimensional, there's a beautiful depth to her words, a multi faceted feel to each story she puts forth.
Torrest for me proves that what I love most about reading is curling up with a book that characters feel real, that doesn't need fireworks and explosions to make me feel, a book that makes me laugh, leaves me feeling happy and content, with a smile in my face and a song in my heart.
Wow, a surprise new release by T. Torrest!! Breaking the Ice is a standalone romance the author suggests perfect for when you want something "sweet, inspiring, a little funny, a little angsty, a little sexy." Yay, my kind of read! :D

As someone who fell head over heels in love with Tina’s characters, humor and stories in Remember When, I was over the moon when she decided to write a book with user-generated content. I loved following along as she asked her Facebook fans for input on everything from character names to plot points. (And, of course, sometimes I even gave my two cents.) Her readers might have supplied the details, but Tina added the humor and heart, weaving the details together seamlessly and making me fall in love with her characters once again.
I’ve said it a time or two before, but I am a huge sucker for a friends-to-lovers story … and a second chance. I got both with Breaking the Ice. Told in two parts – back when they first met in college and then later when they find themselves face-to-face again – you get all the good stuff. It would be easy to say the latter was my favorite, but the first part helped me connect more closely with Avery. Who hasn't had a little seemingly unrequited crush on a friend a time or two? Avery was a win for me from the start. She only got better with time, too. There was no doubt Zac was swoony, but he didn't seem to have much substance early on. I'm pleased to admit I was wrong. He just had to go through some things and grow up a bit, before his true nature appeared.
So, yeah. I adored this book. It was funny, sweet and a little sexy. I adored the characters; their chemistry was great. There was some history and a bit of baggage, but they were such a great fit. I loved their banter. Some readers might complain the pace was a little slow, but I was perfectly happy with it. Each little interaction (good, bad or otherwise) gave me more insight to these characters. It also gave me the opportunity to watch their connection grow. This isn’t a book that’s big on the action, but that was fine with me. It was a fun read that was the perfect fit for me when I read it. It wasn't full of angsty moments that punched me in the feels, but I still felt plenty while reading this book. I was definitely up well past my bedtime reading this book. And I don't regret a thing!
I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
The idea of having the readers participate in a story they'd like to read is one I really like. Especially since readers can be very critical of what they do not like. I was one of the readers who voted on names and characteristics for Zac and Avery. I loved taking part and was very eager to see how the story would shape up. I knew from my first glance at the beautiful cover it was going to be good.
I loved having the book told from both Avery and Zac's points of view, especially with the way it was told. I got to know Avery, her thoughts, feelings, and how she felt about Zac from the moment they met. When they reconnected, I really wondered what Avery was thinking, but was so happy to finally get Zac's spin on things. As much as I loved being in Avery's head, I loved being in Zac's more. I feel like I had a stronger emotional connection with him. The two of them had such chemistry together and I loved seeing them spark off each other.
There were parts of the story I wish had been better developed. This is perhaps where being in Avery's head would've been beneficial. I wish I knew more about Avery's past from when she had Zac were apart, in particular her relationships. I would've liked to have seen more of Zac when his life had changed from what he wanted it to be and his interaction with his father and family after that. Beyond that, and wanting more to read of course, the story was very well written. I laughed and got emotional. I really enjoyed reading the story and couldn't put the book down. I stayed up late in the night to finish it and it was so worth it.
T. Torrest has done a wonderful job of taking reader's input and creating a story that's memorable. She took bits and pieces and put together two characters I loved and a story I enjoyed. The tagline at the bottom of the synopsis. "READ WHEN YOU’RE IN THE MOOD FOR: Sweet, inspiring, a little funny, a little angsty, a little sexy." is absolutely true and so fitting. I can't wait to see what she writes next.
I was excited to read this one by T. Torrest since I have been a fan of hers for quite some time. I knew it was going to be different as she wrote the book based on input and ideas from her readers, and it exceeded all my expectations. It was filled with all the romance, steam, and humor that makes her books so good.
Avery is home from college when she meets the newest hockey player in town…Zac! Oh my…he is sex on a stick and then some. And, it becomes evident that he is also a huge manwhore. When the two meet, there are definitely sparks there, but Avery’s dad is the general manager of the team, and she knows how the players are. However, it doesn’t stop Zac from trying all of his lines on her but to no avail. They do develop a friendship over the next few years, but that attraction and lust is always simmering beneath the surface. One night changes everything between the two, and they go their separate ways only to meet several years later. Both of their lives are different than they thought it would be. Will this time be different? Will they get their HEA? You really have to read this great book to find out!
The relationship between Avery and Zac takes place over a number of years, but I loved it! Torrest is taking the chemistry and emotions and stringing us along perfectly. I don’t know who might combust first Avery and Zac or Torrest’s readers!!!!!! Avery and Zac had a lot going on as a couple, but the way each character is developed and explored made me invested in them as individuals. In other words, their own individual lives were just as important as their life as a potential couple.
I discovered T. Torrest a couple of years ago when I read Remember When, and she has had me hooked since then. Every character she creates just draws you in, and I love that! I recommend reading Breaking the Ice if you like a sweet, sexy romance with some sense of humor thrown in. I mean, what’s better than some good romance, sex, and laughter!
***Reviewed for Devilishly Delicious Book Reviews***
First and foremost, I have to say I LOVE that T. Torrest wrote this book inspired by reader's suggestions and requests. It not only shows how much she cares about her fans, but that she really listens to her readers and those that love her books. I wasn't sure how it would all work out, but I think overall it still allowed her voice to be heard, even with reader's ideas and thoughts. As a fan of T's Remember Trilogy I was excited to read something new and different from her. She has such an amazing ability to write characters that readers just fall in love with.
"When you spend most of your life trying to be invisible, the fallout is that sometimes you succeed."
Avery Brooks has grown up around hockey players her whole life, but for the most part her father (General Manager for the NJ Devils) has kept her away from them. But when she is asked to help plan a party and comes face to face with Zach McAllister, her teenage crush, sparks fly and the sexual tension is through the roof. She can't help but be intrigued by the man that he has become and wants to see if there is something more between them.
"Even when your dreams don't pan out, even when you can't rub two nickels together, even when it seems all hope is lost... There's always something to look forward to."
This book is told in both Avery and Zach's point of view (POV) and told over a six year time frame. If you are in the mood for a friends to lovers, second chance love story that is sweet, a little angsty, and sexy then this book is for you. I did think that it was a little slow at times. Also, the story or really just their back story could have been developed better and it was a little cheesy in parts. I enjoyed Avery's point of view, but when it was time for Zach's side of the story I felt like it lacked romance and could have been a little more interesting. Overall, this was a light, cute, loving story.
READ WHEN YOU’RE IN THE MOOD FOR: Sweet, inspiring, a little funny, a little angsty, a little sexy
Well that pretty much NAILED it.
This story was all of the above. I am a sucker for good Friends to Lovers’ story. Slap on a serving of second chance romances, feisty banter, a female lead that actually has a spine, and you have a great read. Now dollop a sexy lead man on top and you have yourself a page turner! I also loved knowing that everything in the story was voted on by the fans. I wished I had been part of it. It would be like planning a Today Show wedding. How fun it would have been to see the winning votes come to life on the pages, what a unique way to include the readers. I adored Zac & Avery. I loved that they seemed real, like a couple you could hang out with. They are damaged, but not the “holy crap they need multiple shrinks” kind of damaged. I love the realistic feel to them. They had careers going down the crapper and GASP…they had bills! They were not filthy rich having their driver bring them to their amazing penthouses or benefit parties! Zac. I loved that Zac was honest with who he was, knowing that he was a womanizer and maybe not what a gal would call husband material while living up to his nickname, Maniac. He is the bad boy with the squishy inside, but you have to work a bit to get to it. Avery was his perfect other half from the get-go even if she did not know it. Zac needed a girl to call him out on his actions and not be one to just toss her clothes on the floor to become another notch in his bedpost. He needed someone to open his mind up to love beyond the one thing that broke his heart; hockey. When they finally cannot deny what is between them any longer, it is hot! To hell with "Breaking the Ice", they melt it! Love, Love, Loved it!
This was a great story about misunderstanding and forgiveness. The character development was very in depth. Provided a great opportunity to bond with them. I like that the author gave clear timelines as the story progressed so it didn't feel like everything happened so fast. I especially liked that the first half was Avery's POV and the second half was Zac's. Not a lot of repeating. There were some surprising touches of humor as well. This is a new to me author and I am excited to try more!
***SPOILERS***
Avery has been around hockey players her whole life. She knows what playboys they can be. So when she meets Zac "Maniac" McAllister, she immediately puts him in the friend zone. After 3 years, she decides to take a chance.
Zac gets traded to Dallas after one of the best nights of his life. He suspects Avery had something to do with it. He gets injured before his first season with the new team is over. 4 years later he is still bitter and back in Jersey running his fathers bar, when Avery strolls back in to his life. Is this his chance to make everything right and try again? All he knows for sure is that she is the only person who makes him feel again.
To he honest, this book could have sucked (which it definitely did not) and I'd have loved it.
I enjoyed reading Zac and Avery's story but what I loved was the fact that I helped make it happen. Right from the beginning T. Torrest was asking for names, eye colour, careers etc and the whole way through I was voting along with everyone else on her Facebook page. So in the beginning when Zac and Avery were meeting, I got that little extra bit excited when his eyes were green- I picked green!
The fact that I felt so invested in this book definitely made it easier to fall in love with it but it was Torrests writing, the humour and the sweet moments that made me fall in love with it.
Definitely worth reading if you want something light and happy with a some laughs.
Was anticipating this since I love Remember When and love her writing.
This one unfortunately not for me. It started ok but the story jumped from one year to the next and we get a glimpse of their building attractions and friendship which is nice but not enough for a solid story.
It's fast paced and just not enough for me. Everything happened like watching a potential good movie on fast forward. By midway I started skimming that's not a good sign and I just skimmed through the paragraph to catch up with what's bei said so I can get on to the story but again it's always cut short and skipped.
This story doesn't hold my interest and too 'jumpy'. Wish I could finish it but I got too irritated I'm DNF-ing this for now.
This story has elements of “friends to lovers “, “second chance romance” and “self discovery of a ex-hot-shot hockey player”. It covered a time period of about six years and started from Avery’s POV, her narration of her covet infatuation of manwhore hockey player Zac. They hung out but never revealed each other’s feeling until one New Year Eve. The latter part of the book was told from Zac’s point of view. I found that this part of the story lacked romance as there were insufficient “Avery and Zac together” moments. It focused more on Zac’s self-transformation and the revival of the bar he owned. Avery also felt like she was in the background. I think that I would have enjoyed the book more if there were more romance and more together moments of the couple.
I loved this book from the first page . The Story is to,d I both POV's but done in two parts. It is a sweet love story about friends who have feelings beyond friendship but are afraid to act on it. The story is to,d over a ten year period of time. Some sexy times sweet moments and plenty of angst but not over the top. Another win by this author!
Avery, the bosses daughter of the local hockey team develops a friendship with Zac, one of the newer players. Zac is a guy who goes home with a different girl each night but with his growing friendship with Avery will the two become a couple and make it? But after losing contact with each other from one great night, then only to reconnect a few years later, will the past be too much for them to be friends? I enjoyed this story but I wish it was more of a series and the time periods between the chapters were closer together.
This is a cute and fun love story that was full of good feels and I enjoyed reading this. Zac and Avery are a good fit for each other and I enjoyed the chemistry between these two. This is the first story I've come across where the author utilized the input of their readers to create the story and I must admit I found that to be quite fascinating and it added a whole new level of interest to this story for me as well. I recommend this to anyone to read and I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Loved loved loved this! Was so stoked to help be a part of this amazing story! Although we had input it was awesome to see how the ideas all fleshed out and came together...There were so many times I was giddy just waiting to see how an idea would be incorporated! I kept giggling when I would see a familiar scene play out that we had discussed! This was such a great idea and collaboration and all together fun ride! What a great author for doing it...a must read!
