Korren is a college freshman who bravely moves away from her hometown, Camden Cove, to Harley Grove to be closer to her best friend, Cage.
Their love blossoms easily after years of friendship. The depth of their emotions is hard to keep from one another. Neither of them wants the terms of their friendship to change, but once Cage and Korren confesses their true feelings for one another, it does.
Despite what he feels, Cage struggles to change his lifestyle, and it affects his relationship with Korren. She breaks things off, giving Cage a chance to choose what he wants more in life, not knowing if the outcome will confirm the fears they’ve had from the very beginning.

This book reminded me of why I ABSOLUTELY love me a best friends to lovers romance. The history between them and the way they understood each other in such a heartfelt way made their bond hit so much harder. Cage was crazy about his KoKo.🥰

Cage and KoKo!!
Cage and Korren have always had a deep and abiding friendship. Their feelings of friendship eventually deepens into feelings of love. Cage provides KoKo with a sense of security, and KoKo provides Cage peace. Cage doesn't play about KoKo and will do any and everything to protect her. The only thing that comes between is his occupation, but eventually, Cage gets his life together. I loved Cage and KoKo together because they were made for each other and helped balance each other out. This was a beautifully written friends to lovers book that was sooo enjoyable. I was happy when the author let us know that O'Shea would be getting a book, and I can't wait to read it. I'm hoping it will be a second chance book after reading his words about his past relationship. This was another great book by this author!!

good sweet read
This was a good read Cage an Korrine were each others everything but didn’t make their relationship official until they couldn’t hold out any longer…Cage had to make adult decisions at a young age to help out at home while Korrine had mommy issues…love the secondary characters i can see all of them with a story especially O’Shea… although I wanted the characters to be older than 20-21 it didn’t take away from the story

No Love Loss
The best thing about Cage and Korren was their friendship. The bond they shared was undeniable.
I loved me some Cage, he didn't play about Korren and would go up against anyone about her. No exemptions.
Once the talked and put aside their fears, it was on.

Beautiful
I love the book. It was a beautiful, cute story.
Cage and KoKo were beautiful couples.
I love how he took care of her no matter what. They grew together and had to separate for Cage to move in the right direction. I am glad they were able to make it.
I would recommend thos book.

Girl this book was so good. I loved the up and downs. I love that they were best friends first so they already were comfortable. They know each other. I can’t wait to read more. Keep up the good work.

I'm so glad that Korren was a woman that knew what she wanted and would not accept less. She didn't put up with any BS from ANYONE and I loved that for her. This was definitely a good easy read that gave you strong friends to lovers which I adored.
