A diverse kingdom is crumbling. Two brothers fight for the throne Will a forced marriage between a baker's human daughter and an elf prince be the right ingredients to stop the war? Or will their passion and lust burn it all to a crisp?
Perfect for readers that love a slow burn with a plus sized FMC with magic, mystery and of course, romance. This book is 18+ with some adult themes that are not appropriate for younger audiences. If you like ACOTAR, or, any other fantasy romances involving sexy elves, this book is for you!

I really enjoyed the plot of this one! Although it's not that unique, it is executed really well in its writing style and the characters, who are easy to root for.
The writing style (and the whole book in itself) felt warm and comforting, perfect for an autumn evening. It strikes the perfect balance between high stakes, while simultaneously giving a warm, cosy vibe to it - even if the plot is full of drama.
I would have loved a little more plot in this one, rather that it being a set up for the sequel, but I can't wait to see where book 2 takes us!
S.J. Frey has done it again! Honey pulled me in from the very first page. Between the magic, the mystery, and the romance, I flew through this book and didn’t want it to end. The world-building was so vivid and the heroine felt so refreshing and real! S.J. Frey continues to be one of my absolute favorite authors! If you love spicy fantasy romance with characters you’ll be thinking about long after you finish, Honey is an absolute must-read.
This book was phenomenal. The main character is so relatable when it comes to self image. The way this author got a message across that I feel is important, truly made me love her writing so much more. It’s a book that has a little of steamy parts along with a wonderful message. Can’t wait for the next book (hurry up!!) Your number 1 fan!!
