I love a morally grey mmc especially when he’s a total golden retriever for the fmc. Sutton and Daisy meet on a dating app. It is obsession from first sight for Sutton and decides he can’t go through with his original plan for her. Instead, he’s going to keep her. You see Sutton isn’t your average Billioniare bachelor, he and his family unalive people and sell their organs on the black market. He uses the dating app to find women. Daisy is finally settling into living in Dallas, working as a librarian. She’s sweet but strong, and her confidence grows throughout with the help of Sutton’s devotion. This man is what dreams are made of, but without the unaliving. Sutton has to hide his dark side from Daisy, so she falls in love with him before he tells her the truth. The spice starts with a sizzle that very quickly catches fire and doesn’t let up. Daisy feels like she’s known him her whole life and knows right away she’ll marry him. Their instant and obsessive love made for a fast paced romance. He does everything he can to spoil her, including buying all the books on her wish list. Their relationship is Dom/Sub, but he’s so gone for her, so punishment for her bratty behavior is usually more of a reward. I look forward to reading more about the Douglas brothers.

“Princess... God has no place here. If you need to pray, pray to me. I’m the only one who can take you to heaven,” he growls.”
“Every book that was on your wishlist is in these boxes. You only had fifty of them on there, I wanted to get you more. So, what you’re going to do is make me a whole new wishlist. I want you to put every book you’ve always wanted on it. I don’t care how old, or what edition. If you’ve ever wanted it, add it. If the authors are still breathing, I will do whatever I have to to get them signed and personalized. We’re going to make sure our home has a library just for you,”
