How many amazing stories can they put together?

This anthology has some of my favorite authors all in one place! I was also excited to read some new ladies who have won over my heart. Hilary Storm's Taron and Ivy will always hold a special place in my heart and make me see things just a little dirtier! Their attitude towards each other burns up the pages. Seeing these two battle it out again put a smile on my face and a love of some really amazing toasts. MJ Fields shares her Jase with us and who doesn't love some Steel! Jase started it all with his love for Carly and their story never disappoints! T.H. Snyder gives us Linc and what an awesome story he is! She does earn the name Queen of Cliffies for a reason. Linc, Jo, and the Cursed crew also have a special place in my heart. I was happy to trip across S. Moose, Kathy Coopmans, and Ahren Sanders along the way. This is an amazing anthology that you won't want to put down. All for a great cause as well! Don't miss this book!

Grinding In Greenville (Boyfriend Book Stand #1)
✯✯4 Grinding Hot Stars!!✯✯

This was definitely a cute book. It's about 3 women who met in college. When they first met they didn't think they had much in common. Then, they discovered each others love for books and they became best friends fast. Even though they're very different from each other they are good for each other. Whenever something is wrong they know just which one to call for advice.

Marley is from Woodstock, NY with her sister, mother & 2 fathers. Her parents were total hippies. Marley didn't have the perfect childhood. The one guy she really cared about hurt her. The first chance Marley got she went to college and never looked back. She doesn't do relationships. Marley does do 1 night stands, and the guys are hot. Very. She is the friend who's not afraid to speak her mind, regardless of what comes out.

Haley herself had a hard childhood. Her mother was addicted to drugs. She didn't care about Haley or her little brother. She was only worried about when her next fix was. Luckily for Haley her teacher helped her get into college. Now, she's married to a lawyer and has the perfect life. Her husband doesn't want her working. But, she gets him to agree to letting her open & manage her own cafe. But, he demands on her being home everyday by 3. After meeting with Marley & Tori she decides to surprise her husband at work being he was working late. She's the one surprised though. And, not in a good way though.

Tori on the other hand had the perfect childhood with the perfect parents. Tori is the type of person that blushes at almost everything. While in college Marley & Haley talk Tori into going to a party. Tori goes and sees Jack and has a moment of weakness. Now, she's pregnant and Jack being the good guy that he is he is stepping up. Now, that he's proposed to her & all 4 parents meet. Tori gets home to find out there's been an accident and she's lost her parents. Tori has checked out. 3yrs later her and Jack are still married with 2 beautiful little girls. But, they aren't 100% happy. Marley had given both Tori & Haley some toys. Tori gets busted by Jack. After a huge argument between the 2 of them, Tori decides she's going with the girls to the book signing for the weekend. Her & Jack can figure everything out when they get back.

Now that the girls are at the event things are about to get that much more insane. These girls really are best friends and can talk about anything. They all have their own things going on as well. One of them has a blast from the past. One has a situation with one of the hot, sexy cover models that are walking around. And, another one's relationship does a complete 360 in the perfect way possible. Reading this made my think of me & my friends. I'd laugh at certain things & be crying the next.Somethings were hot & others just down right wrong! I'm glad I read it & hope there will be a book 2 for these 3 friends!!!

Shelter Me (Shelter Me #1) by Kathy Coopman

☆☆4 Heart Warming Stars!!☆☆

Where do I start? This is Kathy Coopmans debut book. And, I am always nervous when reading any authors debut book. Simply because I don't know what to expect from them. Honestly, Kathy surprised me. I really did like this book. Granted there was somethings I didn't like. But, it really was a good story.

Seven years ago Shayne Andrews woke up to find out that Luke Schavone the love of her life left. Luke & his family left with nothing but a note that he left for her. Shayne was beside herself. Everywhere she looked she saw Luke. She talked her aunt into letting her move as far away as possible.

Seven years later and Shayne is back. Her aunt who was basically the only mother she ever had had died. Now, she's back in the place she never wanted to come back too. Luckily, she has her cousin Adam who's more like a brother for her. And, Bubba & his wife Jenn. The 3 of them really do love her and support her and all the decisions she's made for herself.

Just when Shayne thinks she can come and go the ground she's standing on crumbles right out from underneath her. Luke is back and has been back for the past 2yrs looking for her!

Shayne is instantly drawn to Luke. As well as him to her. They never stopped loving each other. Luke puts everything out there for Shayne. He tells her everything. Or so she thinks. Deep down in her gut she's got this feeling he isn't telling her everything. But, Shayne isn't telling Luke everything as well. She has her own secret.

Luke & Shayne have to learn to forgive the other one. Both have bombshell secrets. Shayne's secret once it's out there it out. Luke on the other hand. He is trying to protect Shayne yet is only making it worse by keeping things.

I really did love Luke & his family. They really do love Shayne and truly feel guilty for the past 7 years. Erin is Shayne's best friend. Her and her daughter Sienna I really liked too. Adam has always been Shayne's confidant and he loves her just like a brother. I loved him. I'm stoked Adam & Erin's story is next.

Shayne has been through a lot. And, she did it mostly alone. Better then I would of. She's a very woman. Shayne handled things the best way she could. She did what was best for her and everyone involved. Luke had a bad hand dealt to him as well. Ended up missing out on a lot due to things out of his control. But, he stepped up like a man. Took it like a man & he melted my heart into a thousand pieces

After 7 years of torture for both Shayne & Luke they forgave each other too easy for me! But, their love for each other was written all over their faces. Their chemistry was hot. And, I mean hot. I definitely teared up a bunch a times. I definitely liked this book.

Box set

I really enjoyed this set. Took awhile to get through it because i had to read all the other books in the trilogy from each author. Definitely helped me find more authors I wanted to read. I recommend this box set to those that want to find more authors to read and like so steamy romance with some action mixed in.

I've read two of the stories from this anthology: t.h. snyder- Cursed Love and Hilary Storm- Heaven Sent
___________________________________________________________________

Title: Cursed Love
Author: t.h. Snyder
Series: Cursed #1
Category /Genre: Contemporary Romance
Received from: t.h. Snyder as a gift
Recommended for: 18+ due to sexual content and violence
Grammar/editing: B – a few small errors

This is the first book in the Cursed series. They must be read in order.

Linc and Daulton have been best friends since they were very little boys together. At nine years old, they witnessed a crime that polarized their personalities and cemented their brotherhood. After graduating high school, they moved south, started a business together, and share a house. Etty has her own nightmares plaguing her life and she has run, right into this pair of bad boys. Will their nightmares be soothed by each other or curse them?

I have so much I would like to say about this book, but too much of it would be spoilers. This is the best book from t.h. that I have read so far. One of the main characters isn’t even in the same state as the other three for most of the book, and yet it worked for the story.

Thank God, t.h. has invited me to BETA the second book in this series, because honestly I don’t know if I could wait for it. I must know what happens next. You’ll be thanking God that she included chapter one of book two at the end of this, or you would be going into melt-down, too. I offered to beg for the next book. I’m just glad she didn’t take me up on that – it would have been ugly to see. Do not miss this book. Do not miss this series!

Title: Heaven Sent
Author: Hilary Storm
Series: Rebel Walking #2
Category / Genre: NA, romance
Received from: Hilary Storm (in exchange for an honest review)
Recommended for: 18+ due to sexual content
Grammar/editing: A – near perfect /book received as an ARC

This is the second book in the Rebel Walking series. While this could stand alone, it is better to read them in order.

Ivy has tried to resist Taron, but some things are inevitable. After giving in to the passion that has been building, life comes crashing down on both of them. Do they turn to one another or walk away?

As much as I loved Eaven and Talon’s story, I was sure I would love another sweet easy read. Ivy and Taron’s story is raw and emotional. I finished this book in about four hours; I just could not put it down! Hilary Storm has ROCKED this. She has another Facebook stalker awaiting her next in the series. Who do you think will next? I’m hoping for Holden.

This review is for H D'Agostino's Novel

I received this book from the Author for an honest review.

My partner in crime/ fellow blogger/ EX-best friend said you need to read this. So I took her at her word did not read the synopsis and yes friends did not pay attention to the author. Had I done either of these I would have been a little more prepared for what I got myself in because the awesome author was none other than the cliff hanger great H.D’Agostino. The book was great but wow did it tug at my heart and play with my emotions. It kept me wanting to find out more about Maddie and Cole.

Maddie is trying to take back and move on with her life after being in an abusive relationship. It is taking time and a lot of looking over her shoulder to get where she is today. For some reason things are changing for her she meets a friend, Erin, and then a guy at the dog park that freaks her out. Then the same guy is at the cub which she blows off again. Then her new friend takes her to a self defense class and yeap same guy there again.

Cole is dog sitting and sees a gorgeous woman determined not to let her go this time without talking to her he approaches her and is shocked at her reaction when he asked if he could sit down. Then when he sees her at the club he is shocked again when she shoots him down and listens to his friend Wes tease him. Then he gets his lucky break when she shows up for the self defense class that he helps Wes with.

These two have more in common than they realize. I loved watching them build their relationship slowly and watching Maddie build her confidence and retreat. Seeing Cole gain Maddie’s trust and loose some (it’s a balancing act that he is learning to balance).

I was so into the book I wasn’t paying attention to what percent was left in the book and when I turned the page and realized it was the last page aaaannnnndddd nnnnooo this can’t be a cliff hanger there has to be more. I have to know what’s going to happen. Then I read how long I have to wait for book two! WHAT! NO Way say it’s not so! Now you see why I put EX-best friend up at the top. The Queen of Cliff hangers has struck again. Well played I didn’t even know what hit me tell I was on the floor.

This is a review for H. D'Agostino's Novel

I received this book from the author for an honest opinion.

OMG THIS WOMAN IS KILLING ME!!~~! Incase you are new to Heather's work, you will not know that she is called the "Queen of the Cliffy"!! She is amazing at making me scream and wanna kick her butt!! This book defo made me not happy with her too!!!

This book is about 2 broken souls. Cole who has an abusive father. Maddie who had an abusive ex-boyfriend. Both of them are in these abusive relationships for years and both have mental and physical scars from the trauma. Both of these people have kept others at arms lengths with the exception of a close friend or two. Of the two, Maddie is prolly the worse off. Richard really, really messed with her and pretty much made her think that the sky is infact green and not blue!! Cole is struggling with what he did to protect his family from his abusive dad.

Cole see's Maddie while he is dog sitting for his sister. He tried to approach her but Maddie is on full alart. Her "no way, not gonna happen" mode actually. Fate however decided the two must meet. Cole runs into her at a club the following night and again she shuts him down which cracked up his best friend Wes. Well ya know what thay say about 3rd times??? Well it took the 3rd meeting before Maddie and Cole strike up an uncomfortable friendship.

As the story goes along, Maddie is constantly dealing with her deamons and Cole is there to try and prove to her she IS worth all the drama. When they get to a great place, Maddie knows someone is watching her and then her fears are realized.....OMG the ending is a hot mess....my tummy was fluttering and when I turned the page it said "the end" and I messaged Heather and screamed!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Cole and Maddie are defo a couple that I am dying to read more about.

What an absolutely amazing group of authors. I have not read every story yet but the ones I have were fantastic. Did I mention that the proceeds go to a great cause as well?

Hilary Storm: Heaven Sent

Unbelievably an amazing story!! Hilary Storm has quickly became one of my favorite authors. Get ready, to fall in love, laugh, and cry. This is turning into an amazing series. Ivy and Taron will have you laughing, crying, wanting to scream and of course hot and bothered.

Ivy and Taron are two of my favorite characters. Ivy is the straight forward tell you like it is girl and Taron is the playboy. They both have feelings for each other but fight them to the end. When Taron goes on tour with while Ivy stays back and deals with issues of her own. Will these to be able to fight their feelings or finally give into them?

M.J. Carnal: Liquid Regret

Absolutely fan-freaking-tastic!!! There are not enough words to describe how amazing this book was. M.J. had me completely hooked with the Moretti series. Just when you think her books can't get any better boom. She delivers an even better one. I have been able to connect with every character she has written about and this one is no different. You will catch yourself laughing, crying, falling in love, completely turned on and begging for more! Grad a box of kleenex and get ready to fall in love with Damien.

Damien is the face of Liquid Regret and will be sure to have you swooning. His love for Mia is undeniable. After just a week together they fell hard for one another. They share a strong connection that can over come anything. Just when you think everything is working out as planned you will be hit with a shocking reality that tragedy can strike at any time. I absolutely can not wait to read more of the series!

Well worth reading

Excellent selection of erotic books. Lots and lots of male alpha lead singers and their understanding girlfriends. I loved most but some were not my cup of tea. Well-developed characterization and well-written plot. Adult readers to sexual and violent content.

I have only read a couple of the books in this collection and have loved both of them.

Cursed Love by T. H. Snyder
This was absolutely one of the best books that I have read this year.

The story is amazing, the characters, wow, what more can I say and the book moved along at a great pace never letting up from the beginning all the way till the end.

T H Snyder is a great author and you will not be disappointed with this book.

Heaven Sent by Hilary Storm
This was a very enjoyable read that I finished in one sitting, could not put it down.

It moved along at a fantastic pace from beginning to end, has characters that you cannot help but fall in love with and who grab you and you want to see them overcome everything that may be in there way. The story was amazing and keeps you entertained throughout the entire book.

Hilary Storm is an amazing author and I cannot wait to read more of her work in the future.

Amazing collection

Review for Heaven Sent by Hilary Storm:
Heaven Sent, an amazing read yet again from Ms. Hilary.
In this story, it's about Taron and Ivy..
I love the concept and the characters.
Taron, I sometimes find this guy irritating and sometimes an ass but as the story goes by, I'm falling in love with him!
Ivy, I love this girl.. she's strong and I love her relationship with Eaven..
I also loved that I got another read (parts) of Talon and Eaven!!! Eeekk!!
Ms. Hilary nailed it again!

For other stories in this book... I can't wait to read them.... these authors are amazing!!

What a great book! The stories were on the long side for an anthology but hey! Good for us!

The stories were all in-depth full novels. Nothing seemed too short. There were a few I had read before but I liked the story so much I re-read it in this book then took a break and went on to read any other books in that series if there were any, before coming back to this anthology. This was a great set of nice long stories for which you sure get your money's worth. Hot guys, feisty heroines, steamy, sometimes, scary situations....it's a whole lotta fun and well worth reading (but you better have some time set aside!!!!!)

wish they were complete standalone novels ...

This is why I usually don't grab the box sets of novels. They almost never are full standalone novels. I couldn't connect with some of the characters. I felt like I needed to buy the 2nd book to figure out what happened to the characters in the 1st story. I also thought they would be about Christmas stories based on the cover.

DNF

I didn't get far in this book, so I can't speak beyond the first two stories. The first was an NA story written by someone with a great skill for texting and not so much skill in with writing. I think proper use of a comma (beyond quotation marks) wasn't covered in that person's school. The second was also an NA story with too much telling. I hope this was free.
