Social Media rehab
Pucking My Grumpy Fake Boyfriend is the fourth book in The Pucking Pros series. I have read several books by Kali and have enjoyed them. This book about Delaney Marks and Beau Prescott is no different. The story is cute, sweet, fun, entertaining and has some heat. The story-line is engaging and the characters are both likeable and have a fake dating/opposites attract romance. Overall it was a charming read.

Beau and Delaney's Story
This is a cute hockey based love story. There are some inconsistencies that are minor but noted.
Beau Prescott is a star hockey player for a NY based NHL team. He is an extraordinary player but he is not outgoing, nor does he have a media presence. He rarely speaks to reporters and has no outside endorsements.
Delaney Marks is a trust fund girl who is rebellious against her uncaring parents. She feels like she is always a disappointment to everyone. She was framed for shoplifting when the book begins.
Delaney and Beau are forced into a fake public dating ploy to improve and subdue her image and to give him a higher profile.
Naturally, things heat up and fake becomes real.
Inconsistencies include: Beau says his mother worked extra shifts at the hospital as a nurse to pay for his hockey, then at Thanksgiving, she said that she became a teacher when everyone tied her to get a nurse. Beau invites Delaney to a hockey rink where he learned how to play hockey, but it is in NYC and his family lives outside of Pittsburgh. There is reference to the playoffs in November in a few weeks even though that is the beginning of the NHL season, with playoffs beginning in April.
It is a cute book and a quick read.

Her parents were angry because their business was taking a hit.her father tells her to get a PR manager so she could visit sick children and animal shelters , she had no choice and she agreed.
Beau is a Hockey player, his team manager called him to his office. He showed him the pictures of a heiress thief and the second headline about a hockey who is drafted the same year as him.
He tells him what is it about and the manager says that they has the public and media attention he suggested him to bring the wild heiress back from the brink.
When they met to discuss the arrangement , she came late and he didn’t like her attitude he thought she’s a spoiled brat.
One night they went to a gala , it went successfully they enjoyed each other company and didn’t see the time .
At one of his game she was watching him play but she didn’t understand the game until he hurt his ankle.
She couldn’t stand to watch, she was worried and ran to the clinic.
When his manager showed him the newspaper saw her worried face.

I absolutely loved this! Starting off with an heiress who is caught stealing had me wondering what Kali was thinking or HOW she could possibly meet a hockey player, but I was NOT disappointed! Delaney may be an heiress, but her life is not what it seems and to keep her money coming in she has to fake date someone- in comes Beau, hockey player needing a social life. The tension from these two is there from the moment they meet to go over the fake dating terms by their PR people. Along the way feelings start to shift and fake becomes real- both of them try to fight the feelings they are starting to have. If you are looking for fun banter, real life struggles, self doubt/belief in the other, he falls first, possessive, touch her and die, maybe little bit of magical things this is one for you. Kali certainly didn’t disappoint- I love her books and am always ready for the next one!

Sincerely, this book was very entertaining and very well written. The story was purely magical and this is one of the books where you see that when you found the right person for you, everything goes well. Except when you still have fear in you, but the other person always has your back.

I was part of the ARC team for this book and let me tell you it is an amazingly wonderful read. The chemistry between Delaney and Beau is off the charts and the characters themselves are so well written that they come right off the pages in a realistic way. I loved this book so much that now I NEED to go explore everything this author has written. I highly recommend this book and this author.

This is one captivating and steamy hockey. There is a lot of drama, angst and swoon worthing moments. Beau and Delaney are perfect for each other. They had amazing chemistry and their banter was great. This is a great, entertaining read.

I received this as an ARC. Wow, Kali does it again with another absolutely fabulous hockey romance. I think this one is my favorite so far. Delaney and Beau are so amazing together. If you love hockey romances, grab this one and all of Kali’s other ones. You won’t be disappointed!

I really liked this book. There is a load of misunderstandings but the angst is fairly low. I loved when Beau apologized and then stood up for Delaney. I pretty much read this one straight through. Well written with great characters and good steam. I love reading the authors stories.

Fake dating isn't always the solution to your problems but in Delaney and Beau's case it was the best thing that could have happened to them, the most important thing in life is to be appreciated for who you are, not your family background or your career.

I read an advanced copy for an honest review. I enjoyed this book, it was a quick read that pulled you in and made you feel for the characters. Fake dating different back different goals. This was a great plot good dialogue. The grass is not as green as you think on the other side.

I enjoyed the book. Beau and Delaney had a rough start but ended up falling for each other. This book has some good tension and spice with a decent story. Another solid read for Kali Kendrick and this series! I would recommend.

I loved this book. The story flows nicely. Delaney was basically being treated like crap by all her family and ex, including being framed for theft. Beau only wanted hockey. Being forced tougher in a fake dating scheme was the best thing to happen to them.
