I always wondered about growing chickens. Though I knew the downside that would annoy me the most would be them screaming early morning to wake me up. However, the book was free and it peek my curiosity. Turns out to be quite an interesting read. The book is very informative, and also a very helpful guide. It contains everything you need to know about raising chickens. Shockingly, you can do it all in your backyard, not much space is needed. Definitely a must read if you are even the slightest interested in raising your own chicken.

I never knew there were so many breeds of chicken! This book was very informative about what it takes to start and maintain your chickens for eggs and or meat. There were some really family friendly chickens listed but I wouldnt have the heart to eat them if I became attached. A great alternative if you are wanting to go organic for your eggs and meat
