First impressions can destroy a good thing before it even gets started… Devlin Cartwright never expected to find his destiny at a gay pride parade, but the first glimpse of his true mate has him questioning his sanity? Can fate really get things so wrong, or is there more to his werewolf than meets the eye?

Clearly this is is meant to be what it is a QUICK BITE snippet into the lives of the Lupinville community. Short, fast, quick paced. I think the author should have followed up with the drag dressing thing that was 'confusing' to Dev but knock that off the list like 2 seconds after it happens. 2.5 stars
Blurb is misleading - I didn't feel he was questioning his sanity, and the whole issue wasn't gone into hardly at all, perhaps because of the short story limitations.
Dev's mother is trying to find him a mate and he doesnt have the heart to tell the woman he doesnt like girls. Not after his brother Lukas turned out to be gay too. Dev just wants to have some time for himself and avoid another Sunday where is mother will make him meet another potential mate. When he wishes for some free time, he doesnt expect himself not be able to go back home bcs a gay parade is blocking the streets and sure as hell he doesnt expect to find his mate and being it a female. The thing is, his mate is only crossdressing, lucky for him......
In the end Dev's mother is just happy that his son found his destined mate.
