El cuerpo sin vida del coronel Protheroe es hallado en el despacho del vicario y miss Marple no está satisfecha con los resultados de las investigaciones que realiza la policía, ya que esa muerte beneficia a más de una persona del pueblo.

This best-selling author of all time wrote 66 crime novels and story collections, fourteen plays, and six novels under a pseudonym in romance. Her books sold more than a billion copies in the English language and a billion in translation. According to Index Translationum, people translated her works into 103 languages at least, the most for an individual author. Of the most enduring figures in crime literature, she created Hercule Poirot and Miss Jane Marple. She atuhored The Mousetrap, the longest-running play in the history of modern theater.

Wow! Wow! Wow! En serio que wow, cuando me recomendaron a Agatha Christie jamás imagine que me encantaría tanto, como ahora, en serio que es una bella escritora, el libro lo puedes leer en una patada y es sabroso, exquisito, como disfrutar de tu comida favorita simplemente, es eso! Es impresionante como esta autora puede llevarte a esa epóca y al lugar de los hechos, atraparte, y sobre todo emocionarte, no sabía que esperar y aunque te dice al asesino al principio, eres tan inocente, que no te das cuenta! Simplemente perfecta.
