And I’ve never wanted anything more. Nia Wilson doesn’t flirt — she detonates.
She poured my coffee with that smile, then walked into my boardroom like she didn’t already own me.
I hired her for her ideas. Now I’m up at night imagining her whispering them into my ear. She thinks I’m safe because I wear suits and say please.
But I’ve bled for power, buried ex-wives, and built empires from the bones of weaker men. She wants a career.
I want her bare in my bed wearing nothing but my name.
Only problem? The world’s watching. And I’d burn it all to the ground just to keep her. She doesn’t know it yet, but this fall…
She’s mine.
Read on for age gap obsession, CEO possessiveness, workplace heat, and a silver-haired devil who gives up everything—except the girl who called him sir. HEA Guaranteed!
This book was so good, I'm going to read it again!!
Whewwweee Chile, this story had me in my feelings!! I think I made notations all throughout this book. To say this book had me in a chokehold is putting it mildly.
Nia Wilson had been waiting for the interview that would start her on her career of a lifetime. Everything was clicking into place. But unbeknownst to her, her plans were about to get a wee bit complicated in the form of Victor Arnault, CEO of Main Marketing.
Victor went to Lakeview to check on the expansion project for his company, Main Marketing. What he didn't plan on was meeting the woman who would change his life forever.
Now I'm not going to give any spoilers. Nope. All I'll say is this book was soooo good. I can't wait to read it all over again. The drama that unfolded had me wishing I was in the book because Nia needed some backup, and I was ready to help a sista out. And Victor? I loved Victor! That man stood on business 24/7!! He did not PLAY when it came to Nia.
I was soooo glad when they finally got their HEA. And that ending? Bae Bae, let's just say Karma came calling and didn't finish until the trash was taken out and dumped at the curb! And that epilogue? Omg, it was the cherry on top of the cheesecake. It couldn't get any better.
This duo Aliyah Cox & Tyla Walker? They ate and left NO crumbs. This book, imo is a definite must-read.
Victor thought he had it all. That is until he met Nia the waitress in a diner. The two of them hit it off right from the get go. Then trouble found them. Victor was determined to make Nia his. Nia was unsure of herself, that is until she channeled her inner spirit. Once that happened, there was no stopping her. Victor and Nia had undeniable chemistry from the beginning. Their love for each other was able to withstand the jealous ex-wife!!! Great short read
That Jessalyn woman is really something, that woman should be hiding with shame, instead she is pointing fingers with no accountability, a true narcissist… Anyway, enough of her. Nia and Victor rock , we need a sequel or something to show us how they are doing… Are they going to open a new marketing firm together!? They are both go getters… !!! 👍
What a fantastic story. Nia was a strong woman and Victor stood beside her. That ex wife oh my god. I can’t say more but you will see when you read. Fantastic story
The Ex-Wife was the only part of the storyline was if she just gets a slap I would have been so happy. Nia and Victor were just fantastic as a couple. So loving their HEA 🥰🥰🥰🥰
This was actually a really interesting and satisfying read. Of course this is an older man younger woman story but it’s sweet and it’s respectful and it’s protective and it’s definitely satisfies your romance fix. No spoilers here, read I in two days….
Poor Nia Wilson worked as a waitress while working to get her marketing degree. She finally gets her break and thinks her life is turning around. It turned around alright, but not how she thought it would. When she met Victor Arnoult in Miller's Cafe, he was taken by her when she poured his coffee. She was taken by the newcomer as well. Her heart dropped when she realized he was her new boss after she spent the weekend with him. They tried to keep it professional until they couldn't.
As things would have it, Victor's ex-wife wants him back and is willing to destroy anyone in the way. Poor Nia is her target. Nia's mind is trying to figure out how she can survive the conniving Jessalyn Arnoult. But Victor's not having it. He was willing to do what was necessary to keep Nia in his life and he did. His marriage to Jessalyn made him distant and cold, but being with Nia, he was a better man. He wanted his HEA with her.
