I found this book to be both enjoyable and a little cringey at times.
The good: getting to see a different side to Lorenzo. He clearly cared about Mia and I liked his protectiveness over her. He seemed to ‘get her’ and that hasn’t happened much in her life.
The ick: the age gap was too big for me and Mia wasn’t mature enough for it to be believable or not creep me out. I didn’t love some of their dirty talk. The stalking thing was weird and taken a bit too far where it went from sweet to creepy the more they talked about it.

whisked away to be married
So I heard what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas but this is something else entirely. Mia never stood a chance against Lorenzo. He is definitely calling all the shots and controlling the narrative. Mia is the spitfire to his untamed heat. Good thing they figured everything out. The mafia doesn’t do divorce. Read and see what the compromise is. Diving into the next book soon.

At first I didn’t like Lorenzo and that he forced Mia to marry him because he wanted a alliance with her biological family but I was so glad when he decided to not use Mia to form an alliance.
Loved the romance between Lorenzo and Mia 💕💕
And loved how he protected her too.
And I loved that they both fell in love with each other.
This was a spicy read too.
I liked Lorenzo’s family too. And I also liked Mia’s biological family too. And I loved they both his family and her biological family protected her in this book. And I was so happy that they got a happy ending together. And I also recommended this book.📖
