This story was awesome. I loved the bullies to lovers. The twist and turn will keep you on your seat. Stacy will keep you on your toes. I can't believe Stacy has not written a mafia romance before she did such an amazing job. I was pulled right in from the first page. I fell in love with Lily from the beginning. Jarek had to grow on me and he did and man he is something else. I love how Lily became so much stronger by the end that she also had the concept of touch him and die. I absolutely love the ending. I so would love to see Stacy continue writing in the Mafia universe. I love the bdsm scenes those where HOT. I will so be ordering a physical copy. PLease ready the triggers.

I had the pleasure of receiving this e-ARC and voluntarily give my honest review!! Stacy did an excellent job with this book. Had me right at the beginning to the very end. If you like enemies to lovers, bully MMC you will like this one.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review from the author and her team.

I loved this book and it is probably going to be one of my only 5 Stars reads in 2025.

This book is a Dark Bully Mafia Romance and I have read and greatly enjoyed this category of books a lot over the years. The Devil's Heir is one of my favorites now and I am so thankful to the author for allowing me an opportunity to read her new book.

This is my first book by Stacy Rush and it did not disappoint. I am looking forward to reading more of her work in the future and we will see if her other books will become part of my 5 Star reads.

Lily and Jarek are a beautiful couple to read about. I love their interactions and the way the author builds on these two characters throughout the story. Jarek is dominant and domineering, while Lily is sassy, submissive and despite everything in her life, kind.

I wouldn't mind seeing more stories from this world, especially with some of the side characters we get to meet throughout the book.

Are you ready for a dark emotional and unforgiving ride?

This book was an electrifying, emotional rollercoaster. For most of the book, I absolutely hated Jarek—his ruthless obsession made him impossible to like. He’s got stepmom issues! 🤣

But as the story unfolds, I was stunned by how much his character evolved, shifting from villain to something much more complex. Liliana’s fierce determination to fight back against him kept me hooked, and their slow-burn transformation from enemies to something deeper was done so well. The sheer amount of drama Liliana has endured is heartbreaking, but her relentless grit and determination to fight back is nothing short of inspiring.

This isn’t just a mafia romance; it’s a dark, intense journey of redemption that left me breathless and questioning everything until the very end.

I'm going to start by saying this doesn't have enough Star rating on here for this!

This is a first take on a Mafia Romance for Stacy and the way she did this from the plot to the chemistry between characters right down to the cat-and-mouse aspect of this was a HOME RUN. The things the FMC goes through and has to overcome in this will have you Gasping and wanting more. the MMC is a force that will not take no for an answer.

dare to enter The Devil Heir

well this book mashed together my two first book loves... mafia and bully romance. Stacy has an amazing way of making you absolutely loath the MMC at the beginning of her bully books but boy does she know how to redeem them.

Jarek and Lillian's story had me hooked from the very first page. This book gives us all the action and all the spice. Its dark and gritty and is a definite page turner.

Jared is your typical mafia boss and is all brooding and possessive of Lily throughout the book.

I loved Lilys characters development and she is a major badass by the end of the book! This is a definite must read for anyone who like a dark mafia romance with lots of spice.

This is a 4.5 for me and is my first time reading a book by Stacy Rush, but I have been meaning to for a while and what a great introduction into her writing and storytelling. I went into this knowing it was a bully mafia dark romance, but I didn't realize we would be starting out in High school, and I LOVE bully academia settings.

While we are not in the high school setting for long it gave me just a taste and I loved it so much and that was all due to Jerek. The moment she caught his attention he was hooked and he didn't know why and certainly didn't know how to show it so he decides he is going to bully her into being his assistant and the whole time he is like I don't know why I want her but she is mine even though I can't have her because of my family situation with the Mafia but one way or another she is going to be mine in some way. He was just single minded and obsessive about her and I was eating it up like catnip. I just loved the way Stacy wrote him not just in high school but as an adult as well and once he got his hands Liliana that possessiveness and obsessiveness also took on scheming because he was never going to let her go no matter what she thought.

Now with Liliana, I loved her too because even when she was under the thumb of Jerek she wasn't completely meek as much as she wished she was because she would try to push back or sassy comments would sneak through but she was so deep in survival mode because of the bulling and her foster parents so they were just peeks into who she could potentially be. But following that she went into hiding and became homeless and what she did to survive showed real strength and smarts. All because she was trying to hide from multiple people really including Jerek who for the most part controlled the city. I just love a strong, smart and sassy FMC but I will say I as someone from a litigious family I cringed and screamed at her when she signed the contract without reading it.

These two had amazing chemistry even if they were both a little clueless (for Jerek on how to actually show someone you care about them and for Liliana recognizing that actions sometimes tell you more about a person's feelings than their words). As for the story itself I found it engaging and I had trouble putting it down and just when you think the story is over there would be a surprise or twist to keep the story going and I was happy that I got to spend more time with the characters I was enjoying so much. Now I don't know if this is a start to a series or single book, but I hope it's a start to series because there are at least two other couples that I would like their story from their perspective. But this book does not end on a cliff hanger this is just me being greedy.

This book is about Liliana who back in high school caught the eye of Jarek Falcon who is the heir to a maria empire. She was the girl with nothing, so she had nothing to lose. When Liliana can't take Jarek's obsession and cruelty she runs into the arms of someone who she thought she would be safe with. But even the people you trust can betray you and end up not being who you thought they were, so she has to run again and ends up living on the streets to escape everyone who wants to use her for their own purposes. Years pass and even with all the precautions she takes ends up once again catching the eye of Jerek by pure chance. But this time is different because he has an offer that will get her off the streets and have a chance for a better life. The offer well he needs an heir to fully claim not just his inheritance but also his Mafia title and who better than the woman he has never stopped looking over. So, a deal is struck for a child in exchange for a lifetime of security. But while this may have started out as deal it is quickly becoming more where Jarek starts to realize he can't live without Liliana because she is more than just a means to an end but there is a small problem. Liliana still hates him for everything he did in high school and everything that happened after and she also can't look passed his Mafia dealings. But he is not going to let that stop him because one way or another he is going to keep his little pauper.

I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

.Stacy Rush has done it again! Another 5 ⭐ read for me! She has absolutely knocked this book out of the park! This is a Mafia Romance and she did NOT disappoint!! The MMC does start off as quite a bully and there are some dark triggers so make sure you watch those going into this book.
In this book we follow the journey of Liliana and Jarek. Liliana comes across so quiet and like she is just going to sit back and take everything that happens to her, but when she starts to find her footing and becomes such a feisty bad ass and standing up for herself, and her life. You can’t help but root for her. I love it and I was absolutely living for it. Plus I love the banter she would have back and forth with Jarek. Jarek he just comes across as this all around a**H*le and you just really don’t know if you want to like him or pray and hope he has a slow and painful end. Howeer maybe there are some things with Jarek that we maybe just don’t understand quite yet that is causing him to be the way he is? (did you really think I was going to give you those answers? You have to read the book!)
The story, the journey, and the path/paths, this book took was, WILD. I don’t think there is any way you could have fully predicted any of the twists and turns this book was going to take you on. Just when you thought it was going to go one way, it took a totally different turn. This book kept you on the edge of your seat from the beginning to the end. When you pick this up, good luck finding a spot you can put it down. It’s gripping and emotional. I was put through the emotional wringer in the most amazing ways and I was absolutely loving it!
The spicy scenes in this book were incredible! Let’s be honest we LIVE for those in our romance books, and Stacy never fails to deliver in the most delicious ways possible.
This book checks all the boxes and I could not say enough good things about it. Stacy, you absolutely nailed this book.

This book is everything I hoped for and more! This book has some very hard and dark scenes, but this book was so worth it. Please read the trigger warnings! I've read my fair share of dark romance books, and this one was tough to get through some times... The HEA made it worth reading.

Jarek's childhood is horrible, to say the least. No child should ever go through the things he had to endure. They turned him into the devil. He hates women, and he has every right to.

Lily's childhood wasn't much better. She has a heart of gold. an angel that brings light to the Devil's black heart.

If you are a fan of the enemy's to lover's tropes, boy, are you in for a ride! He hates women and has every right to.
Men have hurt her, including Jarek. She has every right to dispise him. The HEA is to die for!

This is in my top 5 favorite reads for the year!

There are so many favorite quotes, but these are my top 2:

😈"Liliana Sumner. I need you in my life. You're the light to my darkness, an angel in disguise, and you've captured this devil's black heart. I want to spend the rest of our days loving and protecting you. I want to forsake all other women just to spend my lifetime with you. Will you do me the honor and marry your devil?"

💀"You should know I don't make idle threats, little girl. Be sure you can handle the heat before stepping into the fire."

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to arc this amazing book. I've been a follower on Tiktok for a while now, and I was so excited when I was accepted. Your writing is amazing! I can't wait to read more books written by you.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

Liliana and Jerek’s story was dark and twisty and spicy and dangerous and I really enjoyed this read!

THOUGHTS 💭
🖤 The innocent, naive homeless FMC and the dangerous, playboy mafia heir MMC have a huge imbalance of power, yet Jerek can’t get Lilliana out of his head.
🖤 There are many scenes that are… Uncomfortable. Liliana is a girl who hasn’t had an easy life and seems to be taken advantage of more often than not. I enjoyed watching her take back some of her power.
🖤 I love a good mafia romance - there’s danger and dominance and politics and violence. Jerek, a mafia dom, is morally grey, bully perfection.
🖤 The br33ding is strong in this book, as Liliana’s one job is to get pregnant and produce an heir for Jerek. The spice is SO hot and sometimes k!nky and holy 🔥.
🖤 I enjoy the found family trope and both Liliana and Jerek have good people in their corners.
🖤 This book didn’t have one lull for me! I really enjoyed this new-to-me author’s writing style and storytelling. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop pretty much the whole book, which I loved.
🖤 When I first started this book, I thought “Holy crap, it’s 500+ pages.” When I was reading the book? I could NOT put it down and read it faster than some much shorter books.

Thanks so much to Stacy Rush for the ARC of this book!

Stacy Rush’s books hit me hard in the feels every time. Good, bad, spicy and ugly felt deeply. I have never despised and fell so hard for a character as much as i did in The Devil’s Heir. Emotionally consumed from the start this dark bully mafia romance really hits every mark. The world building is done so well you are completely thrown into this dark depraved world full of deceit and morally grey lifestylel. I enjoyed Liliana. Our FMC is battling serious life struggles from the start and are only made more complicated with the addition of Jarek into her life. My goodness is he a difficult character to have any positive feelings for. The depth of his cruelty seems to know no limits. Yet, little by little as layers are a revealed and emotional growth happens, it’s impossible not to truly embrace him. The undeniable chemistry and the way effort is made to give understanding, compassion, forgiveness and love room to flourish is fantastically written. Do not forget to check the trigger warnings because Stacy Rush is not fooling around here. This book hit some pretty dark moments and you must ensure that this book is right for you. For me this dark bully, enemies to lovers, morally grey, Dom/sub, passion filled plot and the intense sexy kinky spice makes this an absolute must read for any seasoned, dark romance, mafia romance reader.

How is this Stacy Rush's first Mafia romance?! I devoured this within 48 hours even with beta reading it because it's that good. I will warn you of course to check the TWs and remember that this is a dark mafia bully romance... You'll have to read it to see if he redeems himself 🥰🥰

Just... WOW. Stacy, you’ve absolutely outdone yourself with this one!

From the very first page, I was completely hooked. This book pulled me into its world so deeply, I found myself laughing, crying, and at one point, seriously contemplating throwing my Kindle across the room (in the best way possible). It was a wild emotional roller coaster—and I loved every second of it.

Lillian felt so real, so raw, and so relatable. Her journey hit me hard in all the right places. And Jarek? Whew. He is forever zaddy in my eyes—no arguments there. 😂

The dual POV brought so much depth to their story. Seeing both sides made the connection between them even more intense and unforgettable. This book didn’t just tug on my heartstrings—it ripped them out, stitched them back together, and somehow made me thank it for the pain.

It’s easily a 5-star read and now one of my all-time favorites. That said, please make sure to check the trigger warnings—Stacy doesn’t shy away from the hard stuff. But if you’re able to dive in, trust me: Jarek is worth it.

Buckle up—this ride is intense, beautiful, and absolutely worth every moment. I’ll be recommending this one to everyone I know.

I’ve never been one for a Mafia Romance but this one has me considering to give them another go!

I got The Devils Heir as an eARC for an honest review so here we go!

I really loved the writing style by Stacy Rush, The Devils Heir was my first book I’ve read by her. It really sucks you in from the beginning and you don’t want to stop reading. Each chapter leaves you wanting more!

I’m not a big fan of the demeaning of women in anyway shape or form. So some parts of the book had me cringing. But it is about a mafia family so I guess it makes sense in a way.
Please check your TW!

Big town mafia families last heir Jerek bullies a girl in high school who is from the wrong side of the tracks (Liliana). He pushes her to far and 4 years later she reappears in his life and he must have her! And he stops at nothing to make her his even if that means paying her to carrying his child…

Does the big Mafia Boss finally get what he wants after all the years of waiting…

Wow!! What a whirlwind! There was no shortage of twists and turns. Once I picked up the book, I didn't want to put it down!
It was full of action, danger, suspense, secrets, and betrayal.

I love both Jarek and Liliana.
The banter, chemistry, and emotional moments between them were everything.
Liliana was resilient, strong, and had the right amount of sass. It was great to see her confidence in the end.
Jarek was a little more complex. Of course he was obsessive and controlling. I think he also just needed someone to love him. Like I said before I loved both main characters, but Jarek was the star for me.
He grew so much. Throughout the book we see him slowly softening, only for Liliana of course.
He still remained the mafia boss he needed to be, but for his family he became a husband and father.

I can confidently say I loved this book. It was all things delicious and dark romance.

WOW! I can't believe this is Stacy's first Mafia book. I was hooked from the very first page and couldn't put this down. I loved the dual POV and how it made each character feel real and relatable.

I loved Lily from the start, Jarek not so much but he definitely grew on me quickly after you get his POV of how he feels and what he wants with Lily. This story did not go where I thought it would go and I was pleasantly surprised, I loved the ending and what happens with Jarek and Lily.

I loved this book so much that I wish I could read this for the first time again. If you love Mafia romances, you will love this book! It was easily a 5-star for me and one of my favorite Mafia books that I've read. Please check the trigger warnings though because there is a LOT packed into this story.

Well Stacy has done it again!! With her first mafia dark romance!!
This was the first mafia romance I’ve read in awhile, it was my first love when it came to the darker side of romance books, so Stacy thank you for bringing it back to me.
This story is about Liliana and Jarek. I loved Lily from the start, she was just trying to make her way through a difficult life. Then here comes Jarek, next in line to be Mafia Kingpin. I have a love/hate relationship with him. He will grow on you don’t worry. The just absolute crap they both go through … just irks me .. and that’s a nice way of saying that. But in the end.. oh the love I have for.. I already wanna wipe my memory and read it again!!
This is a darker book, so please make sure to check your trigger warnings!!

This book! This book! This is a dark bu11y m@fia romance! I am not the biggest fan of m@fia, but here comes Stacy Rush making me love it! I knew she would, but when I say I loved this book that is just an understatement! It was just so good! Did I love Jarek (MMC), absolutely not…at first, but of course I ending up loving him and his possessive self! The things he goes through in life make him the way he is and I truly felt for him. And then there is Sasha, his pauper (FMC) who has also went through hell and back herself! Does she fall in love with her bu11y from high school?? Well you must read and find out! Go read the book! You will not be disappointed! Please check trigger warnings before reading, your mental health matters!

The devil's heir is a bully romancer lovers sweet dream and if you don't like bully romance run away. This book is fully of bullying and mafia love.
I really enjoyed Lilliana story. She is a sweet and innocent girl who grow up in the foster system. On her 18th birthday everything changes for her. Then the book jumps 4 years in the future where you find Lilliana homeless and working nights because she scared.
Jarek is Lily high school bully. Jarek is everything you think he is and more. But knowing Jarek pass helps you understand the reason he's is the way he is.
Can Jarek change when Lilliana comes back into his life or will he still be the same guy all over again?
All I can say is if you like mafia, bullying, obession, bratty, and so much more you will love this book.

Welp Stacy is at it again with her first Mafia Bully Romance! Whilst reading The Devil’s Heir you can expect enemies to lovers, forced proximity, contract agreement, JP MMC, softie only for her and more.

Keep in mind with Stacy expect trust issues this story had so many twists I wasn’t expecting and with one being close to the book’s end I feel she wrapped it up very nicely and it didn’t feel rushed one bit.

Jarek bullied Lilliana when he first met her in high school, threatening all the hormonal teenage boys to stay away and ensuring no one talked to her making her life hell!

Lilliana eventually goes into hiding to save herself doing what she can to get by but also stay as unseen as possible.

After about 4 years Jarek spots her form.

The Devil’s Heir - Stacy Rush
I thought I knew bully romance, but Stacy takes it to another level and I am HERE for it!
Heir to a mafia empire, Jarek Falcon gets whatever he wants, except the only girl he truly desires.
Liliana Sumner is girl Jarek desires. But without a clue as to how he can handle his emotions he becomes her worst nightmare. The cruelty of his obsession forces her away from him towards someone she thought would be safe.
What unfolds is something that neither of them saw coming. The twists, turns and intoxicating story take you along for a ride through obsession, betrayal and healing that can mend even the blackest of hearts.
This was my first book by Stacy Rush, and can’t wait to read more!

Stacy Rush is one of my top favorite authors so I already knew this book would be great and she didn’t disappoint me at all!! I was kinda worried that after everything Jarek put Lily through that I wouldn’t ever be able to like him but somehow I loved who he was by the end of the book. They both had hard lives growing up and the way Jarek is throughout alot of the book has a lot to do with what he went through. The 2 of them go through so much to get their HEA, they have to fight for each other and their relationship in many different ways. I recommend this and all of Stacy’s other books! MIND YOUR TRIGGERS!

The Devil’s Heir is Stacy Rush’s first dive into the dark bully mafia romance world—and she does it with the same grit, tension, and raw emotion that fans of her bully romances already love. As someone who adores her My Bullies Love Me series, I was excited (and a little nervous) to see her take on the mafia trope. But let me tell you, her talent for writing dark romance absolutely bleeds into this book in the best way.

This isn’t a light read. You’ll need to pack your patience—especially for Jarrek, the male lead. I’ll be honest: he was hard to like at first. Stacy leans hard into the bully side of this bully-mafia hybrid, and Jarrek doesn’t make it easy. For at least the first half of the book, I struggled with him. But—and this is important—he grew on me. Once you begin to understand his backstory and the reasons behind his behavior, things start to click into place. Stacy doesn’t excuse his actions, but she makes you understand them, which I respect.

Now let’s talk about Liliana—the female lead. DO NOT underestimate her. She’s fierce, resilient, and refuses to be a victim, no matter what’s thrown her way. She’s been through hell and back, and yet she holds her own every step of the way. That strength is one of my favorite parts of Stacy’s writing—her heroines never stay down.

And yes, there is a HEA. You just have to trust Stacy to get you there, even if her characters make you question your emotional stability along the way.

If you’re into dark romance and ready to see a new side of Stacy Rush, give Devil’s Heir a shot. It’s not always easy—but it is worth it.

Ohhh, wow. I absolutely loved this book. I was on the edge of my seat, waiting for something to happen the whole first half of the book. Then chapter 52 happened, and I could not put it down. I did not like Jarek at first. Of course, that changed as I progressed through the book. Liliana was a great FMC. She wasn't whiny or "woah is me" the whole time. I was not expecting the triple whammy in the second half of the book, but I enjoyed it. It brought out a side of Lily that I had hoped was hiding within her.

Whew this kept me on my toes for sure…..so many twists and turns
Bullying
Mafia
Homelessness
Forced proximity
All the things we love in a good dark romance with spice

Jarek and Lily know each other from high school where he is her bully while secretly obsessed with her
She runs and 5 years later he finally finds her again on the streets and homeless
As heir to the mafia, he offers her a deal she can’t refuse……but at what cost

Well done Stacy, thank you for always entrusting me with your books!!!

This book hooked me from start to finish. I'm a total sucker for Dom/Sub dynamics and that bully romance, enemies-to-lovers vibe—chef’s kiss.

The chemistry between Jarek and Liliana? Off the charts. 🔥
This isn't just your average mafia romance. The storyline is packed with twists and turns that kept me on edge the whole time. Dark, intense, and addictive—I loved every second of it.

I'm all in for this kind of dark romance!

Stacy has done it again. Unfortunately for me, it's not hard for me to fall for the MMC as it is with most readers when the MMX seems to be a complete jerk off in the beginning. Devils heir had just the right amount of speed and slow burn but kept at a very good pace. It did not drag out unnecessarily but gave the details to not leave you hanging. I will most definitely be rereading this book. Less than 24 hours, it took to finish. I just could not put it down.

The title says it all. The Devils Heir.
I loved everything about this book.
The way the mmc had so much trauma but still wanted to show the fmc how much he wanted her.
The fmc had a rough upbringing but found her way back to the mmc. I was not expecting the ending. Who will the next mmc and fmc be?
