I gave 4 stars however it deserves more in my opinion. I would say a 4 ½ stars for me as I have grown a wee bit addicted to Ben Carter. I am ever so grateful there’s another book as I am excited for the next turn with their own practice both Ben & Elsa so yep I’m hooked can hardly wait for Book 5 😊
This was either an Amazon or goodness suggestion from my page of Christian suspense and thrillers. This was a who done it with some suspense, but it's not Christian and held the language in check till I had read 25-30% of book. With just a little restraint, it could have been more entertaining. Life and learn....
Found it bit slow at first but then it took off with a bang. Ben Carter reluctantly takes on murder case involving his late wife's father. Bad blood between them. As court case evolves, the action starts with mob involved. Final twists and fearce action. Well worth reading.
This story, while entertaining, contained inconsistencies. Example: Altera kidnapped Ben from parking garage, he took away Ben's phone. Yet, later the cops rescue Ben and he takes his phone from his pocket to make an important call. Sloppy.
