About the author

JONATHAN LUNA co-created and illustrated THE SWORD, GIRLS, and ULTRA (all Image Comics) with his brother, Joshua Luna. He co-created and illustrated ALEX + ADA with Sarah Vaughn. He wrote and illustrated STAR BRIGHT AND THE LOOKING GLASS (Image Comics). His work also includes the art for SPIDER-WOMAN: ORIGIN (Marvel Comics), written by Brian Michael Bendis and Brian Reed.

Jonathan was born in California and spent most of his childhood overseas, living on military bases in Iceland and Italy. He returned to the United States in his late teens.

Writing and drawing comics since he was a child, he graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Sequential Art.

He currently resides in Northern Virginia.

SPOILERS

We are reaching a peak of trouble in this issue when it's discovered Ada is sentient That temporarily resolves itself. Alex’s grandmother passes and the issue is left hanging open. This was a very, very intense issue but really good. If you like stories about Robots, highly recommend this comic.

This is still one of the best ongoing titles out there. Jonathan Luna and Sarah Vaughn do s masterful job of depicting the emotions and struggles of human life, along with utopian visions of androids finding sentience. Great great book.

Ten days have passed since I've read this issue, but OH DANG I'm still startled. I haven't been as wind-up for quite a while. #13, where are you??? I want to read you A.S.A.P.

So much stuff in one issue. How are they able to do that? Amazing.

My favourite comics series so far. I'm sure it stays like that for a long time. *fingers-crossed*

"But even if there are souls for humans, I'm not sure there are ones for androids." -Ada reflecting on the death of Katherine, Alex's grandmother.

What began as a slow burner progressed to being a truly captivating story.
Beautiful, traumatic, painfully unjust, and sweetly romantic.

“Alex + Ada, Vol. 3” de Jonathan Luna y Sarah Vaughn es el tercer y último tomo de la serie de cómics que explora las complejidades de la inteligencia artificial y las relaciones humanas en un futuro cercano.

La historia nuevamente se enfoca en Alex, quien a principio de la serie recibe una androide llamado Ada. A lo largo de la serie, lo hemos visto intentar comprender la conexión entre humanos y androides en un mundo donde la IA ha avanzado significativamente.

En este volumen, la trama se desarrolla con un enfoque en la evolución de la relación entre Alex y Ada.
