A Cursed Heart

Ryan, Mal, and their little Fiona were adorable!! And that gorgeous cover with the flowing red hair and horns!! 😍 I loved everything about it and how it absolutely matched our demon Mal to a T. Speaking of Mal, the man has been having a rough go of it for quite some time. I'm talking centuries. I can't imagine keeping my sanity if I was locked in a gem for that long, even if I got a break once in awhile when different people would possess it for it's use.
And then we have our morally gray human Ryan. I'm showing some morally gray myself, but I honestly can't truly blame Ryan for what he did to get himself into hot water with the big bad Scythe. He may have done something considered terrible, but he did it because he thought it was the only hope in keeping his beloved daughter Fiona safe. As a parent myself, I cannot blame him for that.
As much as I loved the relationship between Ryan and Mal, I completely adored Mal's relationship with Fiona. It was the cutest thing ever watching Mal try to learn all the things she liked so that they could enjoy them together. And you could tell he was enjoying himself too. It wasn't just something he did to try and "woo" Ryan. Thankfully Ryan could see this as well, so it of course wasn't long before he was falling for the demon along with his daughter. I'm so glad things turned out right in the end, which left these 3 to spend their HEA enjoying their family and each other forever.

Until Ryan (and his daughter Fiona). Ryan has found himself in a spot of trouble with a mafia boss. A good guy, who loves his daughter, has made some morally grey decisions in the protection of those he loves. Which is why you love him even more.
Bound together and working to keep themselves safe, they develop the most endearing love for one another. They truly make such a cute family, and I love how it all works out in the end.

DEMONS ARE BECOMING MY NEW JAM
Demons are becoming my new favorite characters. I Love Paranormal. This is a MAGICAL FANTASTIC Book. JAX STUART always delivers a remarkable happily ever after. Mal is a cursed Demon. Ryan is a shady IT guy with a small Daughter Freya. She's a pretty cool kid. This Book moves right along and is written with non perfect characters. It's Beautiful, Intense and Heartfelt. I truly enjoy Books like these. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!
