The world is on the brink of war. And one woman’s muted past will dictate its future.
I wasn’t supposed to survive. But I did—and I didn’t come back the same. I sacrificed everything to save James Walker. Now I’m awake, alive, and more powerful than anyone ever imagined. My magic is untraceable, impossible to contain, and growing by the day. But the world I’ve returned to is fractured—and so is the man I thought I knew.
They call her a threat. I call her mine. And I’ll tear this world apart before I let them take her. People are scared of what she’s become—and they should be. Some want her caged. Others want her gone. All I want is her.
While the Radicals threaten the Magi World with the Amplifier—a weapon capable of erasing everything in its path—one woman fights her way toward answers no one seems willing to give. Will the love she nearly died for survive the truth? Or will secrets strain all fragile ties until they break?
Silver Tiers, the second book in the Sapere Series, is a sharp, emotional romantasy filled with slow-burn tension, deadly secrets, where magic defies logic and threatens to unravel the world as we know it.
Even from the last pages of 'Cerulean Truth' I craved for this 2nd book of "Sapere" series. So proud to be part of Sorcha's amazing street team! Thank you so much for offering us this early copy!😍
It's a must to read "Cerulean Truth" first in order to start "Silver Tiers"! The book starts with what happened after that devastating ending from the 1st one. This time Emma will face more challenging things, which will make her question herself a lot, not knowing who she was in fact and which role she had in the bigger picture. Her powers will grow so much and she will work so hard in becoming better and better. But all that couldn't hide the disappointment she felt after the man she loved broke her trust. Will she be able to save the world and, at the same time, her broken heart?
This part was pretty different than the 1st one, meeting a completely changed Emma, more in control and stronger than ever. She was the one in focus and the most important piece in the whole saving the world plan. This time, Emma won't have James constantly by her side and the new people she met will make her feel like home and included. I didn't know how to feel about this change but little by little I've started to like this new side and made me question myself on which one I liked better.
Sorcha has played with my feelings with this book as well, just loving everything about it. All those plot twists, the drama, the suspense, the uncertainty, were completely nerve-wracking but simply splendid! Again, we had a mind-blowing ending, which has prepared us a bit for the craziness which will unfold in the next book. Do I even need to tell you to pick up this series? You really must do so because it's sooo darn good!!😍
I absolutely loved Cerulean Truths when I read the ARC last year, and after that cliffhanger, I was so ready for this sequel. This was such a fun, adventurous follow-up that still manages to hit you right in the feelings. Huge thanks to Sorcha Raegh for the ARC. What a ride!
The worldbuilding is honestly fabulous. We get to explore other countries, other collectives, and the cultural differences between them, which adds so much depth to the world. It all fits naturally into the story and ties beautifully into both the plot and the characters’ development. The pacing is fast and engaging, packed with twists and turns as we delve deeper into our characters, the radicals, their powers, and all of the politics at play. Emma’s growth, both magical and personal, is front and centre. She’s learning to trust, to forgive, to let herself love and be loved, all while dealing with a massive, looming threat and the fact she is powerful. It’s written with such care that you really feel it all with her. James—oh, James. He made some choices. He’s got a long way to go, but you can see how fear and stress warp his decisions. Julian... he honestly read like he’d lost his head. Caden? Hated him at first, but by the end, he grew on me. His introduction was well done, and that slow shift in perception was satisfying. And the characters from the Crown Collective? Loved them. They brought new perspectives and refreshing dynamics, especially when it comes to the found family aspect, which absolutely warmed my heart after all the isolation themes earlier on. The writing still has that signature wit and humour, but it doesn’t shy away from fear, horror, and trauma. It strikes a really nice balance while staying easy to follow. I especially appreciated how Emma’s trauma and isolation were handled. You can really feel how much she clings to James because he’s her one constant, even when the cracks start to show. But the found family slowly rebuilding that warmth? So, so good.
All in all, I really enjoyed this one. I struggled to put it down, and I honestly don’t know how I’m supposed to wait for the next book!
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to Sorcha and Quilibre for the Opportunity to read this book!!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️
There’s no way…. This book WRECKED. ME. I screamed into my pillow, threw my kindle across the room, questioned my whole existence and wondered what i did in life to deserve such a cliffhanger. WHY WAS THE EPILOGUE ONLY ONE PAGE LONG?!?! I don’t even know what to do with my life. Emma is sad, so im sad. Emma is happy, so im happy. Emma cant pick? Well WHOOPTY FUCKING DO because now, neither can i!!! James IS the love of my life, but i mean…. It doesn’t hurt to shop around, does it? Whoever decided it was a good idea to break my heart like this….. thank you. i was getting too comfortable in my toxicity, there’s no way, there’s just NO WAY. My sanity is now hanging by a thread… I’M hanging by a thread.
The spice was light, I’m a super smut slut so i read the darkest shit you’d think off, but I REALLY enjoyed the tension that was happening in this book, it doesnt matter if nothing else was going on, the yearning and tension made up for it… FOR SURE.
Anyways, I didn’t know where it was going after the ending of the first book, and now? I went 90mph on a 35 and i cant seem to figure out how im supposed to function now… great job. Highly recommend, this just keeps getting better (in spite of my heart break. Don’t be fooled, i like the pain) I can’t wait until the next book. Please, do it for me… release it, tomorrow!!!!:(
-a very sad, very invested fan of Emma’s future (and James, and now even Caden🙄)

I had the amazing opportunity to receive the arc of Silver Tiers and I am so thankful I did because of the first books incredible cliffhanger! This book had me staying up late at night just to read what would happen next! You know a book is good when you pull an all nighter!
To recap Emma, our funny and smart FMC leaves her successful life behind as a lawyer to train her newly awakened powers with the help of James our broody and powerful MMC. This new adventure in a magical hidden society proves to be difficult for Emma as she has a hard time using her magic. Tension and attraction builds between Emma and James…
Potential spoilers beyond this point,
BUT THEN BAM!
Enter two MORE potential love interests! Honestly in the first book I did love James, he was just broody and working through childhood trauma so I understood when at times he was a bit toxic! But I didn’t realize how much he affected the growth of Emma! Emma in this second book comes into her boss babe era! She had moments of broken trust, but because of that I absolutely loved her character growth. I loved that she found herself in circumstances where she was appreciated and believed in! Honestly May that type of love find me! Least to say this second book is filled with twists, tantalizing tension, and even more world building! Be prepared for another amazing well written cliffhanger!
This book will leave you in a state of who do I root for? WHO WILL SHE CHOOSE?
A must have series, I truly can’t wait to get my hands on my physical copy! I recommend preordering this book!
✨Fierce/Feisty FMC ✨Morally grey MMC ✨Slow burn ✨Found Family ✨Unique Magic system ✨Unique World ✨A love that protects her ✨A love that fights along side her
So sometimes you read the 2nd book in a series and it’s just _____. Blank. Can’t follow up to book 1, and is just a terrible book. In this case? That couldn’t be further from the truth. Silver Tiers is the sequel to Cerulean Truth and picks up exactly where CT left off. Emma, James, and Caden and the messiest love triangle I’ve ever read. Right when you think you’re close to the edge.. nope. Just a tease. Emma, the FMC is … a badass. Simply put. There isn’t much she’s afraid of, or won’t say. I will most definitely be thinking about this book for months! The emotions that everyone went through? They were SO incredibly relatable and SO intense that it felt like i was reading a story about my life. Believe me, i will most definitely be recommending this book, along with book 1, Cerulean Truth to friends whenever they need book recommendations. :)
Silver Tiers picks up in the aftermath of Cerulean Truth and wastes no time pulling you straight back into Emma’s world—one that feels heavier, wider, and far more dangerous than before. This installment is all about growth: power gained, trust tested, and identity questioned at every turn.
Emma stands firmly at the centre of the story this time. Her journey is raw and deeply personal as she grapples with who she is, what she’s capable of, and where she truly belongs. Watching her magic strengthen alongside her emotional resilience is both heartbreaking and empowering. She stumbles, doubts, and hurts—but she keeps going, and that determination makes her impossible not to root for.
The worldbuilding expands beautifully, introducing new collectives, cultures, and perspectives that add depth without slowing the pace. Every interaction feels purposeful, every revelation carefully placed. The found family elements shine here, bringing warmth and connection that contrast so poignantly with the isolation Emma has known.
And the relationships? Messy. Complicated. Ache-inducing. Choices are made, lines blur, loyalties are tested—and the emotional tension is chef’s kiss. The yearning, the uncertainty, the slow shifts in perception all keep you on edge, right up to an ending that absolutely refuses to let you recover.
Sorcha Raegh balances wit, darkness, and vulnerability with such care, delivering a story that is fast-paced yet emotionally grounded. Silver Tiers doesn’t just continue the series—it raises the stakes, deepens the bonds, and leaves you desperate for what comes next.
Fair warning: you will finish this book emotionally wrecked, wildly invested, and counting the seconds until the next installment. And honestly? Worth it. 💔✨
This is actually a 6Star read for me! I can’t decide if I finished this book or if it finished me. That ending wrecked my emotions…in the absolute best way possible.
If you loved Cerulean Truth, Silver Tiers will break you open all over again. Sorcha Reagh continues her signature mix of razor-sharp humor and vivid, cinematic writing. I could see every scene play out like I was right there on the sidelines, heart racing the whole time.
The world-building expands beautifully here. We travel to new collectives around the world, each with its own culture, mantra, and chaos. The diversity of the collectives adds real depth to the universe, and the new characters? Chef’s kiss. Sean has stolen my heart as the ultimate side character (Sorcha, please protect him at all costs!). And those returning faces I didn’t expect to see? Still recovering from the shock, but I’m a fan now.
The story picks up three weeks after the radical attack on Cyclos. Emma wakes from her coma, and everything unravels fast, lies, betrayals, and truths that shatter everything she thought she knew about James, the radicals, and even herself. Watching her reclaim her agency and find belonging in the Crown collective was emotional, empowering, and so satisfying.
And then… the love triangle. It’s messy, it’s magnetic, it’s torture in the best possible way. I don’t even know who I’m rooting for anymore, so I’ve officially declared myself Team Emma.
This book had me laughing, gasping, and questioning every loyalty. The ending? Completely unhinged (in the best way). Now I’m counting the days until book three drops.
Sorcha did it again — what an epic continuation to the Sapere Series. I love that with her writing, you can never predict what’s coming. Emma’s sarcasm, wit, and strength shine through every page, making her one of my favorite heroines to root for.
Part One may feel like a slow burn emotionally — so much is happening beneath the surface — but Sorcha masterfully builds the tension and angst until it becomes almost unbearable. By Part Two, everything detonates. The twists and emotional revelations blew my mind, and Emma’s resilience left me in awe.
Part Three? I won’t spoil a thing — but be ready. The buildup, the emotional wreckage, the connection between characters... it’s all there. The chemistry and longing simmer throughout, and I have a feeling book 3 will turn that slow burn into a full blaze.
✨ Favorite moments: “You are my life, Emma, you are my cure for darkness, and my hope for the light. I have no business walking this earth if you’re not right beside me, annoying me with your endless hunger for debate.” “Relationships and trust aren’t built on lies.... You want me to have faith in you? Then fucking earn it.” “In less than twenty-four hours, I had found myself in awe of her not once but twice, and none of it had to do with her translation.”
⭐ Rating: 5/5 🌶 Spice: 1 chili pepper
Thank you Sorcha Reagh for the ARC — all opinions are my own.
I am screaming into the void needing book 3 right the firth now!!!!!!!
It's been 48 hours, and I'm still thinking about that ending!
Does anyone else find reviewing sequels a challenge? I do not want to drop any spoilers, so I'm going to talk through my big feelings!
Sorcha managed to have me teary eyed for Emma almost instantly. She skillfully took a character I loved and made me hate them. It was practically subliminal. The subtext was there between dialogue and events. She didn't need to tell me to hate them. It happened naturally.
Somehow, I then ended up gushing with warm feelings?!? Pride? And roaring with laughter at the smooth banter among the characters. Sorcha's ability to write dialogue that feels like you are sitting around the table with friends is astounding. That is, if you and your friends casually insult yourselves and each other in imaginative ways?
The last 20% had me feral in Sorcha's Instagram DM's. That's encouraged, BTW. She wants, needs, THRIVES on you being as unhinged as possible. No 💀 threats, though. The ending will have you screaming with frustration, but conspiracy to unalive is taking it too far!!! Especially, as we need books 3 post haste.
I LOVED Cerulean Truth and was desperate for answers after that explosive ending 😭 Now IMAGINE my excitement when I received an ARC Copy of Silver Tiers 🤭 (and, dare I say, I think I loved this book more than the first 👀)
The world building? I’m about to summon my own portal. The plot? So many twists & turns that were beautifully written. The betrayals? Physically wounded me. The revelation bombshells? *gasping & running straight to Sorcha’s DMs*
Emma is probably one of my favourite FMCs 🩶 She is smart, sarcastic, tough but also so vulnerable. I felt genuine pride towards Emma in this book. She’s found her footing, made genuine friendships, mastered her magic & I’m lowkey envious of her powers 🤭 Don’t even get me started on the men! James? Broody as ever with a ✨sprinkle✨ of hurt. Caden? Hi 🥰🤤 Julian? So infuriating, made me want to lose my head!
I highly recommend jumping into this series - I promise you will not be disappointed 🩵🩶
𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬, book two in the Sapere Series, was a seriously 𝘚𝘛𝘌𝘓𝘓𝘈𝘙 read! It has some hilarious banter, life and death situations, a world on the brink of war, and some deadly secrets that change everything.
I couldn’t get enough of this book! The intensity was amped up, new amazing characters (including my new favorite 👀) were introduced, and the secrets that were revealed? HOLY FCKN SHIT! I literally had to hold my hand over the pages so I couldn’t glance ahead and ruin the shock factor because I was itching for answers 😅
This book had me laughing, cackling, yelling, swooning, and completely WRECKED by the end. I need book three pronto!!
Silver Tiers just went straight for it, and I am sat!
I was shouting and screaming, my heart broke on numerous occasions, my predictions from book 1 came true as did some as I read, mybthirst for revenge was quenched, and the edging...👌 yet frustrating 🤣
In truth, as with Cerulean Truth, it's another infinity star rating.
Emma really became a force to be reckoned with, in her own right. She don't need no man, but they occasionally come in handy, I suppose. She had to break down in order to be rebuilt, and it was painful to be a part of. I love this woman with my entire being, and if she doesn't get some soon, I'm gonna be getting on a plane.
Although there are multiple questions still left unanswered. The most important one remains...who has the book Sorcha?! Who?! WHO?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Highly recommend, can't wait for Scarlet Wars.

This book was fucking amazing!! Just like Cerulean Truth it was well written, had a great plot and a plot twist that I did not see coming. I felt like Silver Tiers focused a lot on the fmc Emma which I really enjoyed and it was fun to get to know her more. You're also gonna be introduced to new characters ( there's one in particular that I love extra much ) and some chapter were more action filling and focused on developing the plot and some chapters focused more on the characters and their friendship which I really enjoyed. It's also spicier than Cerulean Truth so that's nice. I had a hard time putting this book down and I finished it within only a few days so I definitely recommend it. 4,5⭐️
First off, thank you Sorcha for the opportunity to read this ARC!
Secondly, I feel like I need to be sedated because what did I just read?!?!
I ate this book up in 3 days and I’m sad I don’t have more!!! The TENSIOOOOON OH MY GOD I love it but girl I needed just a lil something more to take the edge off (maybe book 3 👀????)
But seriously this book kept me locked in the whole time. I was lowkey over James towards the end of book 1. By book 2 I’m like SAYONARA BABY 👋
We’re #teamcaden now and no one can change my mind about that🙂↕️
Now I will be waiting for any spoilers or crumbs that Sorcha is willing to give for book 3 🥲

Firstly, thank you to Sorcha for letting me read Silver Tiers as an ARC. I was so excited to get my hands on it after enjoying Cerulean Truth and I was not disappointed.
I really feel like this story came into its own in this sequel. The new collectives, the twists and turns and the new characters made it such an interesting read I really didn’t want to put it down. After that last chapter I am desperate to find out what happens next.
I find this series so interesting because it’s not like anything I’ve read before, magic but done differently which is so refreshing.
And obviously, there is a case of enemies to lovers and a ‘will they won’t they’ which I just eat up every damn time!!!
It’s so nice to see Sorcha’s story unfold and get better with each edition 💕
Wow. Just WOW! Silver Tiers is book 2 in the Sapere Series by Sorcha Reagh and mannnnnn was it good! I absolutely loved and devoured book 1, Cerulean Truth, so I had high expectations for Silver Tiers and man, were those expectations met and passed! This book had me hooked from the beginning to the end. The storyline was phenomenal, and everything just flowed together so smoothly. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read this gem, and keep up the amazing work, my sweet friend! 💖
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️<6. Sometimes Goodreads doesn’t give enough rating options.
Reviewed by none other than, Mrs. Hillary Colt. As I peruse the twenty plus pages of notes I have, I can’t help but feel like, as Emma so eloquently put it: “a caffeinated hamster in a cardboard box.” How do I fit all the epicness that was Silver Tiers in a simple, spoiler free review? It will fit. (That’s what she said.) But it won’t. Just read the book.
Let the record show there was not one slow or calm thing about this novel. Every other moment is a holy f*cking sh*t knee jerk reaction. Literally. One chapter in I was fully vested, I couldn’t stop turning the pages, it was very clear this book was going to intrude on my life something fierce. There was no living with me as Emma and James’s story continued.
In Sapere Two Sorcha Reagh has expanded a society that feels both real and mythical, thriving with history and magic but grounded in uninhibited emotion. “I’ll never let go…” If you know, you know. (I hear you groaning at this comment from here Sorcha) The prose are vivid without being overdone, you are given just enough to see and breathe the world, but the true immersion was with her characters old and new… obsessed with the new.
As a reader who lives for the character development in a novel, I made myself right at home, “In that moment, I decided if it was the last thing I did, I’d make sure she found a place where she’d belong, a new family- mine.” The characters and found family in Silver Tiers are what elevated this book. Reagh is dedicated to giving each one complex layers: flaws, hopes, sorrows, regrets, etc. that make you feel like you’re standing beside them. The emotional core of this story hits just as hard as its wildest moments; the longing, raw heartbreak, torturous tension, fierce loyalty, and betrayal that cuts deep, all tangled together in ways I never saw coming.
Sorcha’s writing walks that perfect tightrope between humor and depth; sharp, clever, and awkwardly human. She spins plot twists like Rumble spins gold and fires off banter so effortlessly it’s like watching a Wimbledon match. If I wasn’t screaming, I was holding my breath. If that’s not enough she knows how to go out with an abrupt door to the face. That ending. I scrolled up, down, up, down, up, down, and then I quote:
“I was alone now. And darkness was my only company.”
Don’t sleep, you in fact won’t sleep while reading either, on book two of the Sapere series. If you love fantasy that grippingly mixes in diplomatic intrigue, high action, chemistry fueled romance, emotional depth, moral complexity and characters that don’t just exist in an intricate, magical world but carry it, Silver Tiers is an absolute must read.
Also a must, a release date for book three, please.
**Note to author: I demand novellas. The first one being Sean’s.
Bonus. Some BETA notes for everyone who asks for my raw, unfiltered thoughts:
I am never going to recover from this novel.
LOOK WHAT HES DONE TO ME I AM BACK TO CAPS!
DO YOU EVEN HAVE ANYTHING LEFT FOR A BOOK THREE?
This book is one giant holy shit fest.
Well f*ck me sideways. The hits keep on coming.
I actually do want to see about (spoilers) d*ck.
THAT WAS EPIC.
A tea bagging situation, she did not, I am f*cking wheezing.
WET AGAIN!
I AM SWEATING ARE THEY GOING TO FIND (SPOILER) HIDING IN THERE OMMGGG ANXIETY KEEP ON TRYING ME… SOMEBODYS WATCHING ME AND MY ANXIETY!
“I can’t allow her to mean anything more..” Um, excuse me. The f*ck you can’t
Of course it’s been triggered. As if I wasn’t sweating enough bullets.
She got him right in the baby maker but she needs to chill out, we need to use that later….and yes. This has become a ‘we’ situation.
“WHO THE F*CK IS WALTER?”
Naturally I have the feeling you’re going to ruin me with this.
Sorcha!!!! omg this book is phenomenal!!! I think I like Caden more then james. I loved this book even though the lack of communication between Emma and james killed me I wanted to strangle both of them but I understand, and I got over that quickly. At this moment I want Emma to choose Caden over James because we'll of youve read you know!!! I devoured this book so quickly and I need more because what do you mean probably Emma for the epilogue!!!!
I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review — so here we go!
If you read my review of book one, you’ll know I mentioned it was a little slow in places. Well, book two completely flipped that on its head! We finally get some answers about Emma (and wow, I did not see those coming). Then Caden enters the scene and… oh holy hell, the things I’d let that man do to me! I’m officially crossing my fingers this turns into a “why choose” situation, hahaha.
James, on the other hand, really needs to get a handle on his emotions, because Caden highlights just how lacking in communication Emma and James were. The political storyline in this book also ramps up beautifully, and the introduction of new characters is brilliant. I was genuinely tearing up at times, but also laughing out loud — the banter between characters is so natural and realistic that you completely understand how and why their relationships develop the way they do.
My only gripe? That I don’t have the next book ready to binge!
You guys, I just finished reading my ARC of Silver Tiers by Sorcha Reagh, and I am absolutely, utterly wrecked. This isn't just a book you read-it's a book you survive. Somehow, I emerged on the other side, both destroyed and desperate for more. This isn't a 5-star read-it's a six-star masterpiece. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
What completely blew me away was the psychological richness of this book. Sorcha writes her characters as if she is literally exposing your mind, heart, body and soul to every mistake, memory, fear and trauma you have ever experienced. Every line is etched in tension, every silence feels deafening, and every scar is laid out in the open. She captures the messy reality of trauma, the suffocating weight of manipulation, and the dangerous power of seduction so perfectly that I kept having to put the book down just to breathe.
Thought our Emma couldn't get better? Wrong! She somehow becomes even more badass and iconic! She is flawed, furious, vulnerable, resilient, and powerful all wrapped up into one hell of an FMC. You can feel her grief is soul-deep, but her strength is something that continues to grow, despite everything she's endured. I saw so much real psychological truth in her character-especially in how her silence, survival, and emotional repression come back to haunt her.
And can we talk about Sorcha's addictive writing? I've never read such a beautiful balance of humour and heartbreak. And the romance... oh my GOD. f This is slow-burn romantasy at its most brutal. Sorcha makes you ache for every touch, every glance, every choice. The chemistry is electric, the banter is on point and the emotional torture? Abonimanable.
But let me warn you right now: this book will also pull you headfirst into a soul-wrenching love triangle. And listen, I have avoided love triangles like the plague. Think I'm kidding? Literally haven't watched Vampire Diaries because I am way too weak for that kind of emotional damage... (don't come at me!)
But I went into this book blind! And Sorcha? Literally pushed me into the deep end! She made me live it, breathe it, and break with it. The longing, the jealousy, the impossible choices-it's torture of the most delicious kind, and proof that my heart was absolutely not built for this. It leaves you staring at the wall, thinking about life, grief, love, and the impossible choices people make when the world is falling apart! Cannot say more without spoilers, but honestly, you WILL NOT SEE IT COMING!
Final thoughts: 💭 This book was darker, sharper, and even more emotionally devastating than Cerulean Truths. If you love flawed, painfully human characters, morally grey romance, and fantasy that digs into your soul, then this is a series you cannot miss. Sorcha Reagh has literally cemented herself as one of the most daring and brilliant voices in romantasy today. I'm shattered, I'm obsessed, and I am already counting the days until Scarlet Wars.
I’ve been sitting with this book for weeks now, (actually re-reading it now for a third time) and I still don’t know how to talk about it without sounding like someone who just went through a breakup with a fictional world. But here we are.
The Cerulean Truth will always hold a special place in my heart. It was the beginning of something powerful ….the spark that introduced us to Emma, James, and the fragile, aching world they inhabit. But Silver Tiers… it’s something else entirely.
This book takes everything Sorcha built and tears it wide open. The prose feels sharper, the pacing tighter, and the emotions somehow heavier — like she didn’t just write from experience this time, she wrote from memory, from the bruises we all carry but rarely name.
Emma, my god.
She’s one of those characters who crawls under your skin and stays there. I’ve never related to a protagonist the way I did with her, not because she’s perfect, but because she’s real in the way we are: a little jaded, deeply loyal, and constantly using humor to survive the impossible. Her dry, self-deprecating wit feels like a mirror for an entire generation trying to laugh through the chaos.
There’s something painfully relatable about the way Sorcha writes women who feel too much but are told to feel less. The way love can be both salvation and destruction. It’s sarcastic, it’s devastating, it’s uncomfortably honest. And somehow, it’s still hopeful.
Working with Sorcha on this series has been one of my favorite creative experiences. Watching her build this world….watching her believe in it, has been a reminder of why I fell in love with stories in the first place.
So yeah. Maybe Silver Tiers made me cry. Maybe I laughed too loudly at Emma’s coping mechanisms. Maybe I saw myself in every broken piece of her. But that’s the magic of this book. it feels personal, even when it’s not yours.
To say I’m proud doesn’t even touch it. This is Sorcha at her best. This is Silver Tiers
PS don’t understand how I forgot to mention the Romance …. But holy SLOW BURN. That’s the kind of love you wanna inject into your soul. Sorcha knows how to write a damn good love story and give you all those delicious butterflies we forget we are capable of having sometimes.
"But knowledge isn't solely about facts. It's intuition. It's the quiet certainty in your gut when everything else is chaos."
🤍I have received an ARC of this book and I'm willingly leaving this review🤍
When a book is so good that you don't know how to start a review... that is every's reader dream come true.
The 2nd book of the Sapere series is even better than the first one in my opinion. It simply felt like... more. Emma is far more mature with her thoughts and emotions, even if everything around her is crumbling.
The story picks right were we were left in Cerulean Truth and the beginning of the honeymoon phase. James and Emma share very sweet and romantic moments, but as the reality around them barges in... these moments will become memories.
I'm trying to avoid spoilers, but as the story progresses... Emma has to face some very harsh truths... about who she is, about the ones she loves, about the world she thought she knew. I will say that she will find a place that will bring her peace when she needs it most, and she will be surrounded by people that will help her along the way.
After everything is said and done, the only one I trust is Emma. She further proves that she is strong, resilient, clever and one heck of a badass woman. She might feel lonely, unsure, not heard and not seen, pushed to the ground, but she gets up, gathers herself and trusts that no matter what... she will overcome everything and anything.
As for the outside conflict... it all explodes in our faces without any warning. What I thought I knew as fact was a lie. It's a race against time and the stakes have never been higher. There are so many plot twists that at some point I wasn't even feeling anything, I was just shocked.
Sorcha proved her talent once more and I didn't call her Queen of Plot Twists for nothing. Trust me, you'll want to read this one.
P.S. I love and hate Sorcha for what she did to me with this book! 🤍
Oh. My. Gosh. I can’t even! This book! 📚🤯 Stunning! ❤️ Highly Recommend! No doubt about it!
📝- Note - You’ll appreciate this book much more if you’ve read Cerulean Truth first.
*** Silver Tiers is the powerful second installment in the Sapere series, picking up soon after the dramatic conclusion of Cerulean Truth. Where the first book laid the foundation, Silver Tiers builds on it with even more intensity, depth, and emotional resonance.
This time, we follow Emma as she grapples with the fallout of betrayal and the weight of the choices made in book one. The stakes are higher, the magical and political landscapes more intricate, and Emma finds herself torn between responsibility, power, and the difficult path toward healing.
If Cerulean Truth introduced readers to the world of the Sapere, Silver Tiers firmly anchors us in it. The character growth, especially Emma’s, is deeply satisfying, and the challenges she faces feel both epic and personal. For fans of romantasy, this book stands out not only for its magical tension and slow-burn romance, but also for its raw exploration of trust, trauma, and what it means to keep fighting, even when you’re broken.
More than just a bridge between books, Silver Tiers marks a true turning point in the series. With richer world-building, elevated emotional stakes, and a compelling blend of magic and politics, it raises the bar in every way.
Sorcha Reagh’s writing is undeniably immersive. From the first page, you’re transported into a world so vividly crafted it feels real. Her prose carries a passionate emotional weight that can leave you breathless, yet it’s balanced beautifully with moments of humor and connection. The banter between characters brings lightness and hope, even in the darkest moments. ***
"Friday night. Ball-night. Ball-night? Sounded more like a tea bagging situation than the fancy dance party I was preparing for." 🤭
Sorcha has done it again ... this read was chocked full of incredible metaphors, wit, sarcasm and twists & turns that gave you whiplash 💥 She 100% earned her title of 'The Queen of Edging' as the tension between FMC Emma & the MMCs built to breaking point 🔥
💀Touch Her & Die 🔮Magic 🥰Found Family ❤️🔥SLOW Burn & Tension
If you love a fiesty FMC, Broody, Dark & Morally Grey MMCs, Magic, Immense Tension and SLOW Burn then this is a series for you 💙🤍
"One more inch, and the world would tilt on its axis. One more inch, and he’d ruin me. One more inch, and there’d be no going back."
Review:
This book was absolute amazing chaos ... chocked full of bloodshed, action packed magi battles, smouldering intensity, betrayl, secrets & heartbreak! ❤️🩹
FMC Emma went on a personal journey of turmoil throughout the read .... but her fiesty loaded personality (& witty comebacks) shone through. I loved her character growth & felt she really rediscovered herself again, alongside her much needed found family ❤️🔥
MMC James .... lets just not talk about Mr Dark & Stormy right now - all I have to say on the subject matter is that there better be a Redemption Arc in Book 3 (IYKYK) 😶
But ... Helloooo 2nd MMC Caden 🫠 Mr Dark Prince of Deception showed up with intensity, brutality, edge & darkness in waves 🖤 However despite the red flags (and there were MANY!) you just couldn't help but fall for him ... And the story from his POV - genius ✨️ it made this book for me!!! Hearing him talk about Emma whilst battling his inner demons & feelings andd trying to save the world, was just 👌
BUT that last chapter ... and the ending 🧗♀️ Sorcha just how could you!!! 🫣 The need for Book 3 is SO real 💙🤍💙
Okay. I thought Cerulean Truth was good, but this was a masterpiece. I get it now, all the questions, the fights, the unknowns, it all unravells in Silver Tiers. What a rollercoaster that was. I honestly don’t think there is a single chapter where I wasn’t on the edge of my seat.
I was so happy to see Emma become the badass Maga I thought she was, even if it took heartbreak to get there. She’s fierce, angry, hurt, but she doesn’t loose sight of what really matter: helping as many people as she can, regardless of what that costs her. All the training I thought fruitless in Cerulean Truth pays off big time. Despite the revelations about herself, Emma stands with her head high and uses her immense power to fight for what’s right.
What to say about James? About 10% in the book, I sent a message to Sorcha saying ‘I’m struggling to like James, I’m starting to resent him so much’. I felt so guilty saying so, I just couldn’t get behind his behaviour, and as much as I wanted to like him, I just couldn’t. I really didn’t expect James to be that way, and very quickly I hoped Emma would just realise how toxic their relationship was.
One of the things I loved the most about this book? Crown!! I was wondering where the UK was standing throughout this story and I was so happy to know more about the British Collective. The Highlands is the absolute perfect spot for the Offensive castle. And I’ll just say that the UK does have very fine men 🤭 Caden is an incredible character, I’m so attached to him for so many reasons, but I’d say the main one is probably that he treats Emma as an equal.
This book is on another level. We get all the answers we were craving for, the action picks up big time, and Emma makes some real friends who would do anything for her (finally). I’ll just also mention that Sorcha totally deserves her nickname as Godess of Edging. That Cliffhanger!!! Not fair…
Silver Tiers is the perfect sequel you need to pick up if you want to be on the edge of your seat the entire time.

"These marks are a testament to your strength and resilience. They're battle scars, and they're one of the sexiest things I've ever seen on a woman. They don't make you less - they make you more. Don't you ever forget that."
"Does anyone remember the genius who first thought it was a good idea to tell an already furious woman to calm down? No? Probably because they didnt live to talk about it."
Bracing for a war that would change the tides of the future between the human world and the magical communities, Silver Tiers picks right up where Cerulean Truth left so many of us wondering "what the...?" I appreciated getting some answers to burning questions so early on in the book before jumping into the meat of the story.
Silver Tiers introduced some new characters that I came to adore even more than the characters in Cerulean Truth. It was emotionally charged and left you questioning everything and everyone you knew from before. Think you know who the good guys are? Maybe you don't 🤔
There was a lot of yearning in this book but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say I'm not super crazy about either of Emma's options right now. I'd love to see who is behind door #3 😅
Sorcha has a way with words. She can make you giggle even in the most stressful moments of her books. Don't get me wrong, she can also make you gasp, wonder if she's ok, and scream 🤣 I absolutely adore her writing style and will read anything she writes.
Also, I will giggle every time I hear the name Walter now (iykyk) 😄
If you haven't already, add this series to your TBR! You won't regret it!
Thanks to Sorcha and Quilibre for the advanced reader copy. All thoughts are my own.
"In that moment, I decided if it was the last thing I did, I'd make sure she found a place where she'd belong, a new family-mine."
I am OBSESSED with this series!! This is a romantasy unlike any other, full of twists, world-building, and magic that pulls you in from page one. There’s so much going on, yet I never felt lost. The story flows so beautifully, it became one of those “just one more chapter” reads that had me up way too late!!🤭
Silver Tiers picks up right where Cerulean Truth left off, and I devoured it! Even though I’ve read so many books since Book 1, it was so easy to fall right back into this world. The glossary and terms at the start were such a nice touch, they really helped set the tone for what's to come.
I’m torn. I’m conflicted. I’m confused… but in the best ways possible!! 😭 I need Book 3 like yesterday! We get so much more insight into these characters and how it all began, and I’m honestly blown away by how this story is unfolding. I didn’t see any of it coming and that made it even better. The multiple POVs were perfection and don’t even get me started on that ending… it’s been living rent-free in my head ever since! 🤯
Everything about this book is chef’s kiss. I’m usually intimidated by big books, but this series is so easy to follow and completely addictive. I lose myself every time I open it and suddenly I’ve read 200 pages without realizing it!!
Sorcha has truly outdone herself. I loved Cerulean Truth, but Silver Tiers is next level. This world, these characters, this story… everything just hits! I cannot wait for more!!
After taking a few days to collect myself enough to write this review… I’m still struggling with finding adequate words for my review. Where Sorcha used Cerulean Truth to build an entire Magi world and develop a solid love interest through a devastating slowwwww burn…. Silver Tiers completely flips the script and makes you question everything!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 - Sorcha deserves all the stars for this one!!! Perfection. No notes! 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 🌶️/5
No major spoilers…. But read on if you dare!
Silver Tiers picks up where CT leaves off. The radicals & their amplifier are threatening the lives of the magi in the magical world. James and Emma’s relationship is shaken when the secrets James has kept hidden come to light.
Emma grows even stronger and more powerful in ST. She is an absolutely BEAST by the end of the book. Seeing her learn about herself and grow in her powers is a big part of the storyline… and we learn even more about her past and her powers in this book. This book also has Emma facing characters from her nightmares, and the ultimate plot twist.
James is downright feral for Emma. If this world had a fated mates situation amongst the magi, I definitely would say James behaves in a way a mate would. The problem is.. James withheld A LOT of information from Emma…. And Emma may not be able to move past that and forward with their relationship.
The end…. I would expect nothing less than a Sorcha level plot twist and cliff hanger…. And she delivered. I’ve already sent her my therapy + wine bill. 💸 🍷
I was lucky enough to read Silver Tier as an ARC and honestly, this book has destroyed me in the most beautiful way possible. If Cerulean Truth was a jaw-dropping debut, this second book takes everything to another level more twists, more action, more emotions that leave you crying, gasping, and clinging to every page. The world is richer, the stakes are higher, and the characters feel so real that you can’t help but live every moment with them. The FMC is still everything I want in a heroine strong, powerful, but so achingly human and then there’s THE DARK PRINCE OF CHARM AND DECEPTION, who has completely taken over my heart. The push and pull, the heartbreak, the raw chemistry between him and the FMC is magnetic and addictive, and I am desperately rooting for them to end up together because my soul won’t take it otherwise like literally NO ONE BUT THEM TOGETHER cause emma deserve sooo much and only he can give it to her not some mr. always lying and hiding things. This story is nail-biting, and heartbreaking, yet somehow filled with love, loyalty, and hope, the kind that lingers even after you turn the last page. Sorcha you my love has created not just a dystopian fantasy series but an experience, and Silver Tier proves you're an author whose words will stay with you forever.
