shop girls can marry earls
Elias has just become the earl of Dunmere. He is not sure if he is ready for this as his father hated him. Ann and Clara own a book shop. They end up meeting Elias and Anne slowly becomes friends with Elias. There are things happening in Dunmore and Elias is trying to find out why they are happening. In the meantime his cousin arrives. Elias is kidnapped by his cousin who wants to be the earl. He is caught and Elias and Anne are married

Elias is working on changing the tenant’s view of him as the new Duke. Someone is trying to cause trouble for the village & the Duke must rise to the challenge- with help from Bookstore owner Anne to solve the riddle. And he does with love abounding all around!!
