Not a conversation. Not a connection. Definitely not… him.
It was supposed to be a smooth, simple ride to the airport. No hiccups. No detours. No real interaction. Just get me from Point A to Point B. No questions. No small talk. No distractions. Just drive. That’s it.
That’s what I told myself when I walked out of my apartment. That’s what I expected when that black truck pulled up.
Thee Tasha Marie will get me every time. I love how she crafts a sexy story with just the right amount of tension. But she knows how to pmo with these endings. Really Ms. Tasha?!?
This was a nice short read. Whew, Diesel & Emani. The attraction was off the charts followed by hot steamy erotica. I was definitely invested in this chance encounter until the end and was like no way. I need more. Definitely need Diesel's take on this.
Ma’am, I know you playin’ right? 😲 For this to be a short story, you did an amazing job of building up the tension, and the chemistry was off the charts! 🔥 I was so invested, rooting for Emani while her defenses were slowly dismantled, then BOOM! That ending… the letdown! 🤯 Really? 👀 Ughh… 🤬😤 Enjoyed it though! 🤣🤣
The chemistry was top tier! Wow this short story was intriguing and an unforgettable ride to the airport all to find out… well you must Before I Should Leave to find out!!
3.75 This book came up on my social media feed, and a pic of Diesel was included so I IMMEDIATELY made tracks to Amazon to get it. I am so impressed by this author's writing. The ability to capture such sensuality in such a short piece is just astonishing. I could not judge Emani for a series of poor decisions cause girl, I understood! Diesel sounded like every woman's dream, manly without being some unhinged manic - just calm, protective, confident, sexy and dependably solid. This book was easily five stars for me until the twist. I seriously felt betrayed. I had built up such a warm, loving, feeling sharing this moment with them and it felt like someone dashed cold water on the whole thing. I would absolutely read this book again, but once Emani boards the plane, I would exit stage left.
So in the beginning of the book, the author definitely ask you to the enjoy the story and don’t ask for a part two. Now I know why she says don’t ask for a part two it was a typical woman who’s too busy with work to have a man. There’s a man who starts his own business as a driving service who has to pick this woman up. And somehow by them sitting in traffic trying to get her to the airport on time they make connection without even touching. It was all about the vibes, which I loved. Her flight ended up getting delayed and he ended up keeping her company at the airport hotel. I don’t wanna spoil the end, but it was good and I definitely would want more but can understand why it had to end the way it did
Ma'am!!!!! While a new to me author, I am totally locked in now and I already know I will be diving into the rest of the catalog ASAP! Emani was stressed and worked all the time, saving little to no time for herself to unwind and just go with the flow. A rain storm, a fine driver, and liquid courage gave her the power to let loose. Also, the unbelievable plot twist had me sitting in awe for minutes. Thee Tasha Marie did the thing with this one. If her other book pull me in from page 1 like this one, I won't be good for nothing else!!! 10/10 just doesn't even seem fitting!
Some books aren’t necessarily for ratings but for vibes.
For me, this falls in the 😎 class of reads. Very cool and carefree stories. Sometimes romance. Sometimes street. Sometimes straight 🥵🥵 Sometimes it’s a little combo piece.
This falls in the latter category. _______
A really good and quick read. Their chemistry was so palpable which explains the ending of the story.
THAT ENDING: What in the, “Midsummer Night’s Dream” ish was that?!
I thoroughly enjoyed this read and would definitely recommend!
This book had me soooo wanting more!!! I wanted her to raise the window down and say something anything to get that experience with Diesel. That dream was soooooo detailed and what most women desire in their partner…. I wanted that for her soooooo bad!!! I hope there’s a follow up to this… But if not it was good… First time reading this author’s work. I’m hoping her books are a bit longer but exactly this flow….
Tasha Marie, I love this read. You gave her a good ride. To see a woman who's usually on her square come all undone and allow herself to just feel was exactly what she needed. Here's the thing though our mind can take us where we need to go we just have to accept the thought for what it is. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
My gosh! You said it was an erotica by sheeshhh. That ending though; you sure know how to mess up a wet dream lol. This was such a great read though. I need you to spin back and have Marcus follow that truck 😩😩
Diesel & Emani! I kept reading thinking where's Diesel point of view! But,their conversation kept the story moving so I stayed with the story. I just knew Diesel was going to be on the plane! This was a sweet, sexy ,moving short story!
It was all a dream! Omg this book was everything. This is how you write an erotica novella girlsss. Balance between plot and spice. The way this book sucked me in!!! Now the ending ?!? Girrrlll you know imma need more.
Baby wtf???? No you didn't but yes you did. Hunny this was everything. Ain't no way but dang that's definitely something to look forward to. Cudos to the author she has done it once again
