Two young women running away to paradise find the path leads to unexpected hell and sinister revelations on a dark and stormy night. When their car crashes into a ravine, they must take shelter in an abandoned mill where fate lurks around every dark corner.
This is a fairly short novelette-size tale that, although written in the modern age, mimics fifties-era lesbian pulp novels. It has many pulpish elements including two young stepsisters who are also lovers, an abandoned car, a statewide manhunt for a crazed killer, and dreams of a better life on a tropical island.
