I really enjoyed this story line, well written and great illustrations make this read a fast paced read. Void (member of the Wildcats) comes back from her future to show a member of each Wildstorm Universe Team the Armageddon of her future in hopes that they can figure out what happened and how to stop it.

Oh god, nothing terrifies me more than "Major Crossover Event!" Still, it wasn't a bad intro to the story.

Armageddon has destroyed the world. Void picks the most likely people to travel to the future, learn what caused the event and try to avert it. There is little time available for this purpose and chances are it may be unavoidable. If anyone can do it, the protagonists in these one shots can. If nothing else, the trip to the future convinces each of them to keep their friends close for the coming struggle.

Void brings Midnighter to a future London where the Carrier has crash landed during a cataclysmic event - superpowered beings fighting each other, communications destroyed, humans disappearing. Midnighter reunites with the future Authority only to find that everything is even worse that he feared - the heroes are out of their depth.

Kevin Trueblood finds Tranquility pretty much unchanged in the future, but the rest of the world is a wasteland. The superhumans have keeping the town safe intend to transport it to an alternate dimension. With Kevin's help, they buy the time needed for a transportation spell. Too bad Kevin doesn't remember anything of his time spent in the future.

Dane of the Wetworks learns that the monsters they were hunting allied themselves into an unstoppable force. Though Dane helps his future team to save more humans, Void is worried it won't make a difference for the coming armageddon.

Caitlin of Gen13 dismantles a group of Coda that keep physically fit survivors as breeders. She can do little esle, but is content that her team will stay together to fight what may come in the future.

John Doran from Stormwatch PHD confirms what others before him have found. Superhumans appeared seemingly out of nowhere. Their fight resulted in the destruction of the world. Charis is the world's best hope to avert disaster.

It's become a bit cliche now...but the Wildstorm Universe carried on a Apocalyptic narrative for a very long time (not just a crossover event or miniseries); but a downward trajectory.

After the diminishing innovation of the books and the failed WorldStom relaunch--it was decided the universe would exist in a diminishing world.

The "event" was caused by superheroes fighting (including the Authority's Carrier being destroyed).

It's boring now, but at the time it seemed to have been a bit punk rock.

Lo arranqué hace mil, me interesó pero lo tuve que colgar vaya uno a saber por qué, y recién ahora pude darle un cierre. Dos y medio, pero promedio para arriba porque el nivel promedio de dibujantes está bien y porque me da la sensación de que lo que viene (cuyas bases quedan sentadas acá) va a estar mejor.
