Kinji Tohyama can’t seem to catch a break. As a Butei (an armed detective) he’s constantly running away from assassins and polishing up his detective skills, all while attempting to have a normal high school life. Just when he thinks he’s finally going to get out… A gun toting, sword swinging, aggressive, small-breasted, pigtail haired beauty named Aria H. Kanzaki violently drags him back in! We know that our hero can dodge bombs and bullets, but can he dodge Aria’s demand that he becomes her slave? Or will she finally follow through on her threats to “blow him a new hole”?! Find out here in this action-packed volume!
Aria just isn't my thing. The premise of a detective school is interesting on paper, but they don't do much of that. Other than the first chapter, there isn't much action either. The characters don't do it for me either, neither in looks out personality. Just not my thing.
Did not enjoy this. I originally thought the premise of the school is cool, but nothing much with it in vol 1. Aria has no character development or likability. Just feel like there were so many points where it could have been great, but every darn one of those opportunities fell flat.
A school that trains secret agents. Interesting. Main character has a secret that makes him want to quit. Interesting. He nearly dies because a criminal strapped a bomb on his bike. Very interesting. Gets rescued by the main female character. Interesting. She’s a transfer student from Europe. Interesting. She’s a violent, pushy, elitist, asshole that torments the main character because he accidentally saw her bra..............yep. I hate this character. HATE HER! This series is all but ruined for me.
