Ravven White is a queer, gothic poet and novelist. She dabbles in mystery and magic and spends most of her nights reading books or scribbling crazed stories from her pen. The founder of Curious Corvid Publishing, and author of The Sentimental Dead, Haunted Hallways, I Am Ravven, and The Cry Of The Ravven, Ravven has a special love for the odd and the unusual and is deeply passionate about indie publishing and fair representation. Ravven lives in a castle by the sea with her husband, daughter, and their two hellhounds. You can usually sense her arrival by a curious flapping of wings.

This intense collection of writing from Ravven White shines a light on the brutal truths of living with chronic illness. It leaves no stone unturned, navigating childhood trauma, medical dismissal, gaslighting, and neglect, and life after diagnosis. The imagery and situations left me nodding along, and occasionally wiping away a tear or two. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.
