Rate this book
He's lighting her dark path to redemption.
She's there to burn it all down.

Greyson Davis is biotech’s King Midas. Every new company he touches turns to gold, and his investment firm is Nashville’s rising star. But success breeds enemies, and someone has been watching and waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

Trained in the art of allure and deception, Dahlia Moore is sent with a infiltrate Greyson’s company and expose the secrets that could bring him crashing down. The one thing she didn't count on was her new boss getting too close, unraveling the lies she’d built her identity on. When Greyson shows her a world far different from her own—a community filled with light, love and redemption—Dahlia faces serious doubts about her assignment, her past, even her own soul.

Can the man she was sent to destroy become the one who saves her? Does God truly desire to ransom a heart so wrecked?

This redemption story is inspired by the Biblical tale of Samson and Delilah with crossover characters from Reckless Love (Hatcher Hollow book one). Clean and unapologetically Christian, Ransomed Love contains mature themes not intended for young readers.

Book Review: Ransomed Love by Kate Goodwin
5 Stars
Book 2 in the Hatcher Hollow Series
Blog Post: https://bookloveramanda.blogspot.com/...

Wow, Kate does it again. This book was so layered, in depth and beautiful. We have a modern day biblical retelling of Samson and Delilah, with a little bit of Hosea elements tied in too. We are in Nashville, Tennessee with Greyson and Dahlia. Dahlia is sent from her controlling father to take down Greyson at his investment firm company. Dahlia is used to getting what she needs to for her father so she will do everything she can to try and earn his love, even though it's not really there to have. So she takes the job to work for Greyson. She doesn't expect to fall for the town, his family, the church....him.

The Lord pursues her and Greyson in this book so heavily. While this is a more gritty Christian Fiction book with some mature themes, it was REAL and raw and powerful. I know I loved Reckless Love by Kate last year and this one is yet another, favorite book of 2025.

There's something about how she revealed bit by bit God to our characters all at the right time. I loved seeing them go to church. She took the story of Samson and Delilah with the betrayal and heartache and turned it into a story FULL of redemption in Jesus. I have so many favorite quotes that tie back to the Gospel too.

It was hard to see Dahlia go through all she went through with her mother and father, she was just looking for acceptance and love into the family. But what she finds in the end is the true LOVE of our Father. Our Savior. Our King. He can fulfill every need we have. No matter our past, God sees you and He is the one to save us from our mistakes. Dahlia sees that here.

Greyson's character really stands out too in spiritually growth. At first, he is super behind on his Bible reading (as we can all relate to) and lets life and work get in the way. Soon, we see his growth and return back to the Lord. I loved that.

I think the Biblical Retelling aspect is very well done here as readers will be able to clearly see the depiction of Samson and Delilah's story from the Bible tied in here, just with a bit of a twist on the ending of course.

Overall, I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a gritty, real, Christian Fiction romance story.

Thank you to the author for a complimentary copy to honestly read and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Content warnings:
- no language
- no explicit sexual content, but mentions of seduction, seductive actions, toxic/abusive relationship with her father and passive mother, female dancers/dance club descriptions forced to dance by her father
- mentions of cancer

If you're familiar with the story of Samson and Delilah, you'll know that this relationship is wrought with tension, betrayal, and pain. In reading Ransomed Love, all of these emotions rise to the surface due to how well they are captured on the pages. Greyson is absolutely believable as a man who once walked closely with the Lord and has allowed the things of this world to crowd his faith out. Dahlia, on the other hand, portrays a woman who is trapped and whose choices in life are dictated by others. I love that the author is able to take Old Testament stories and have them inspire her characters' motivations and actions. Retelling stories almost as old as time, she infuses both a raw grittiness and a vulnerable heart to her characters in a way that makes you wonder just how people in the Bible felt when they had to face their hard decisions. As a result, Kate Goodwin is truly gifted in providing a dose of humanity to these passages in a fresh way, making her books stand out in Christian fiction by pointing readers back to the Word.

Since this book is written with slightly more mature content, it is admittedly not for the faint of heart. Tragic scenarios are referenced, and evil surrounds the characters. However, as the title implies, that is not the end of the story. Instead, God's love breaks through every wall as tenacious and all-encompassing. While it's not necessary to read Reckless Love beforehand, it's easy to notice God's love as a common theme, and one that is consistently depicted as shattering all of the pretenses that have been built up by people over time. If there is the opportunity to read that book prior to this one, some of the twists and turns in this book make getting into the series more than worthwhile. Quite simply, Christian readers will appreciate what it means that Jesus paid the ransom for us through this book's faithful Gospel presentation while being engrossed in Greyson and Dahlia's own story of heartbreak and redemption.

Just finished this 2nd book in the series after receiving an ARC and WOW! Still wiping away the tears. This was an excellent retelling of Sampson and Delilah and an amazing story of love and value. The author did such a great job at weaving God’s word into the story line and reminding the reader how much we are loved. I highly recommend this series!

This book is...whew. It's phenomenal. It's a Samson and Delilah retelling, yes, but I also got glimpses of a Hosea retelling.

This book will anger you, delight you, and move you to tears. And you'll be a better person for having read it.

I’ve decided not to give this book a rating due to personal reasons. Some of the themes felt a bit too heavy for me right now and didn’t sit well.

That said, the writing itself is beautiful and I really enjoyed the author’s style. The story just isn’t one I feel comfortable continuing with at the moment, so I’m marking it as a soft DNF at 35%.

I’m truly grateful to the author for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for an honest review. Unfortunately, this one wasn’t the right fit for me right now.

I know this will be an incredible book for so many others. Please do not let this “review” dissuade you from picking up the book. ❤️❤️

Ransomed Love by @kategoodwinwrites

Dahlia & Greyson

This one was inspired by the Biblical story of Samson & Delilah and it was so well done!
Greyson is very successful and everything he touches turns to gold with his business. Dahlia is sent in by her toxic father to work for him, find his secrets, and expose them. She did not count on falling for the guy she is meant to ruin. Dahlia has a very troubled childhood. She has never seen real love on display in her own life. She is numb. She does what needs to be done and hopes one day her father will truly love her. Kate did an amazing job with this story. The message of Jesus flows beautifully throughout and I loved seeing the spiritual growth in Greyson. The theme of God’s love is enough for you regardless of your past or what you were born into. Sweet family and small town mentions are in this one too.
Get this one on your TBR - I truly loved it!!

Quotes ✨

“Only One can wash us from our mistakes. Even then, sometimes we must bear the consequences. It never keeps us from the Father, though. Always run to His love.”

“I know what I feel for you is real. Give me a chance to show you what real love looks like.”

Greyson leaned forward so quickly toward her he caught the surprise in her face. “That’s the thing, Dahlia. I don’t want to pretend with you.”

Wow! The contemporary parallels between Greyson and Dahlia and Samson and Delilah were brilliantly executed!

I'm not used to contemporary romances holding so much tension and having to work so hard to get through the dark moment but this book...well it held more of a 23 year dark period for the heroine.

So many times I wanted to shake Dahlia and BEG her to make the right choices but she didn't. Not until the end. But I completely understand why she acted the way she did--and it broke my heart.

Then we have Greyson, our Midas Finance Tycoon who to the world appears to be living his best life, but still feels as if something is missing.

It's rare to have a heroine who is so conniving also be likable but Dahlia walked that fine line brilliantly.

Tears were shed as I reached the ending--something that rarely happens for me when reading books. But it happened. And each one was worth it.

The story was gritty and relatable with a satisfying and believable ending.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian romance that is *saturated* with the gospel message.

This was a great christian romance slightly reflecting the Biblical story of Samson and Delilah. This book reminds me of the power of forgiveness,

I enjoyed the return of characters from the first book. The main character, Dahlia, kind of got on my nerves but she had a lot going on and a whole lot to learn about life and love 🤷🏾‍♀️

Ransomed Love is the second installment in the Hatcher Hollow series, a chain of contemporary stories revisiting some of the broken relationships of the Old Testament and giving them space for New Testament healing. Each book stands alone while also building off of the previous installments. This second installment is a spin on the Samson and Delilah story, one of the most tragic and ill-fated romances in Scripture. Goodwin did a beautiful job of reframing this familiar tale in a way that is faithful to the original story while still making it her own.
“Only One can wash us from our mistakes. Even then, sometimes we must bear the consequences. It never keeps us from the Father, though. Always run to His love.”

Greyson Davis is our Samson character. He is a young powerhouse in the finance world. And he is a much better person at the core than Samson ever was, always striving to use his position and wealth to help others. But he’s lost touch with the roots of his faith, feeling that he has made something of himself on his own. Greyson isn’t his original name. He changed it after discovering some painful truths about his origins. When it’s revealed exactly who he is originally, I found it a beautiful tie-in to the first installment in the series.
“How easily he’d allowed one painful truth to overshadow so many other things about him that were also true. It’s not that all the good meant the hurt didn’t hurt. It did. But it wasn’t the only thing that was true. The good and the bad could—and dd—coexist. He was more than just the darkest scenes of his story.”

Dahlia Moore is our Delilah, sent by her father to find a way to bring Greyson down. Dahlia is desperate for real love. Specifically from her father, but she also has to guard her heart from the feelings Greyson inspires. She longs to be appreciated for her mind and character instead of only her face and body. But she's very good at putting on the "Doll Face" act to get what her father wants. Even if she hates herself for it. She is much more sympathetic than Delilah. Both she and Greyson are believably motivated, even if knowing the trajectory they’re following is heartbreaking.
“God, shape me into the man she needs. Help me show her the kind of love You’ve always shown me, even when I drifted far from You. You’ve never let me go. If You’ll help me, I’ll never let her go either.”

I loved the discussions of a father’s love that are woven throughout the story. We see weaponized “love” from Dahlia’s father and selfless love from Greyson’s adoptive father. Both underscore the love of God the Father, by showing us what true love is not as well as giving us the smallest glimpse of God’s love for His children. The depiction of selfless forgiveness when you’ve been horribly wronged was also fantastically conveyed. There’s a beautiful presentation of the Gospel in this book, which is uncommon even in the Christian fiction market. The faith element is absolutely vital to this story, and is brilliantly portrayed. There is a light tie to another Biblical story that made my heart break when I encountered it. And another that made it sing. I love these subtle ties that can be really meaningful to those familiar with Scripture, but done in a way to where those with no such familiarity aren't left feeling like they're missing something.
“…he taught her how to pray to the One who loved her, the One who had seen her and chosen her as His own. The One who gave His life so that she might live. She cried for joy as the chains fell from her heart. Her ransom had been paid. She was free.”

Then there’s the romance. If you're a fan of billionaire romances, this is for you. Goodwin did a wonderful job portraying the chemistry and banter between Greyson and Dahlia, as well as balancing both elements against Dahlia’s conflicting motivations. Even knowing the infamous Biblical couple who inspired them, it was impossible not to root for Greyson and Dahlia to make things work. I also really enjoyed revisiting Hatcher Hollow, especially the church and The Banqueting Table. The visits back to Hatcher Hollow made me long for fall. It's a setting reminiscent of Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls, or any autumnal Hallmark movie.
“Hatcher Hollow is the kind of town where you can just be who you are. It’s not perfect. People have their problems. But they love each other. They care. And when we mess up, we say sorry.”

Ransomed Love is an incredible, unique reimagining of one of the world’s best known stories. If you’re looking for a romance with depth and teeth, one that doesn’t shy away from darkness but also beautifully showcases light dispelling that darkness, you should absolutely give this book a read. This series as a whole would appeal to fans of Francine Rivers and Karen Kingsbury, as well as readers of general market romance looking for something clean but real, with depth and a strong core of spiritual truth.

Ransomed Love by Kate Goodwin is an awesome, powerful faith-filled book and I absolutely loved it. This book is a sequel to Reckless Love which I read last year. I would highly recommend reading Reckless Love first as characters from that book are important to this story and the relationships will be more meaningful if you know the characters and what they have been through. Though the author did a wonderful job of jogging my memory with her mentions of things that happened in the past.

Ransomed Love actually takes place 20 some years after the events of Reckless Love. It took me a bit to realize who Greyson, our MMC was supposed to be in relation to the first book. Besides the fact that it's been almost a year since I read the first book, there is another reason it wasn't obvious, but I won't get into that, because, spoilers.

Like the first book in this series, this book is a modern day retelling of a story from the Old Testament. The first book was patterned after the story of Hagar, while this book is a retelling of Samson and Delilah. Greyson is Samson. His strength however isn't physical strength, but being powerful in the world of investment. Dahlia is Delilah, the woman who is trying to ferret out his secrets so she can give the information to her father, so he can bring Greyson down.

I loved getting to know both of these characters and seeing their relationship with all the ups and downs. We see the importance of staying connected to God through prayer and being in a relationship with Him. And we are reminded that God is a Father to the fatherless and will be there for us if we turn to him.

This was quite the powerful passage:

"'You are not your own, son. You've been bought with a price. Sometimes we forget that though grace is free, it is costly. When you've accepted the ranson Jesus paid on the cross, you find freedom and fulfillment in living for Him. Everything else. . . well, it all starts to feel dissatisfying when you're not walking in your calling.'"

This book was quite inspiring and as I mentioned, powerful. And emotional, definitely emotional. I could feel the struggles both the characters where dealing with. The author brought them to life in a big way. I needed to know how Dahlia would finally bring down Samson, I mean Greyson. And what would happen to them and their relationship, because the book is a romance story after all.

The author has warned that this book contains mature themes, so I just wanted to mention that there is a toxic and abusive relationship, with a couple of scenes of abusive behavior, nothing sexual, though hints of ways men have used Dahlia in her past. And there are some instances where she is trying to tempt Greyson, remember it is a Samson and Delilah retelling. And a scene where she is trying to get him intoxicated so he is more willing to share his secrets. Plus mentions of infidelity. Additionally Dahlia's mother manages a club where there are exotic dancers. But don't worry, there is nothing graphic. I just wanted to explain what was meant by "mature themes" but none of this bothered me.

Defintely a book I highly recommend.

I received an e-copy of this book as a member of the launch team and was not required to write a favorable review. These are my own honest thoughts.

Ransomed Love is the second book in the Hatcher Hallow series, but the first one that I’ve read. It is connected to the characters of book 1 (different timeline), but you can definitely read it as a standalone.

This is a love story inspired by Samson and Delilah, which really intrigued me. It is not a retelling, but the parallels are obvious and the way the author transferred the characters into a modern day setting worked really well.

This story deals with (false) loyalty, with betrayal and trust in spite of hurt and pain. Dahlia’s family background is one of manipulation and abuse and while I have to admit that I didn’t really like her as a person, it was easy to empathize with and feel for her.
I loved how she healed throughout the story through the love of our heavenly Father while her earthly one utterly disappointed and outright sold her.
It's a heartbreaking story that turns into something beautiful.

Greyson, while not having abandoned his faith altogether, definitely struggles with it. I loved the redemption arcs of both characters and how faith, love and healing are beautifully woven throughout the story. It’s a powerful testimony of God’s grace and forgiveness.

I was going back and forth on whether to give this book 4 or 5 stars, but I decided to go with 4. Even though I really appreciated the strong Christian content and faith messages as well as the writing style, I did not enjoy the romance. Greyson is presented as someone who has women fawning over him everywhere and he still falls almost immediately for Dahlia - only because of her looks. Yes, physical attraction is important in love stories, but I didn’t like the focus on her appearance together with the insta-love situation (which didn’t seem realistic for someone who is bored by all the attractive women flirting with him). The heat level or rather the heavy emphasis on lust was just something I’m not very comfortable with.
It also seemed like Greyson’s parents encouraged him to pursue something with Dahlia while she was obviously not a Christian and he was struggling with his faith. I might have read the situation wrong, but I’m very sensitive when it comes to relationships between Christians and non-believers. To be honest I think Greyson should not have pursued Dahlia romantically to begin with, but especially his deeply devoted parents shouldn’t have encouraged this relationship at this point.

I would still definitely recommend the book if you have other preferences than me when it comes to romance. I just personally prefer a lower intimacy level and more focus on an emotional connection.

* Thank you to the author for letting me read an advanced copy of this book. I leave this review voluntarily and the expressed opinions are my own.

I received a beta copy of this book from the author. My Review is solely my thoughts and no positive review was promised.

This is the 2nd book in the Hatcher Hollow series, so make sure to go read the 1st book, 'Reckless Love' and the free novella 'Three Times to Love' link here: https://tr.ee/hOCxwSsG2H

When Kate sent me the beta copy, she warned me "this is more romance then 'Reckless Love'" (she knows that I don't love romance books😅 but I found that the "romance" was not bad at all, it was more of a story building up to romance and focused more on God's love!

Ransomed Love was amazing! I loved the first one and can't believe that sequels could be soo much better, but this was!
It is inspired by Samson and Delilah in the Bible and sucks you in from the very beginning.
Like the 1st book, you will experience a rollercoaster of emotions, and will love it!
You will not want to put this book down until you're finished!

I have so many highlights in this book! Some of my favourite quotes are...

... His life had been hidden in Christ years ago when he knelt at the altar as a young boy and gave it to Him. No one could take that from him. He belonged to God."

"Though the old adage claimed that people never change, that type of thinking left no room for God to work. Maybe on their own humans couldn’t change, not really. But when God got involved, the transformation was undeniable and its potential limitless"

"“You will, kiddo. You will fail again because you’re human. But it likely won’t be the same failure. You’ve learned and grown. Your next test might be different but will challenge you none the less.”....“You are not your own, son. You’ve been bought with a price. Sometimes we forget that though grace is free, it is costly. When you’ve accepted the ransom Jesus paid on the cross, you find freedom and fulfillment in living for Him. Everything else … well, it all starts to feel dissatisfying when you’re not walking in your calling.”"

Go read this series!!!

MANN Kate Goodwin is such a good writer. I can't believe she's an indie author!

I didn't connect with this book as much as Reckless Love, but I still loved it. It's a modern-day Samson and Delilah retelling following Greyson, a biotech billionaire; and Dahlia, the woman sent to infiltrate his company and take him down. There's lots of mature content in this book, including seduction, exotic dancing, and crappy behavior from men, but it's all handled beautifully and the redemptive work of Christ is very strong in this story.

I also had NO IDEA that Greyson was until we went to Hatcher Hollow for the first time. I was so pleasantly surprised and I don't know how I missed all the hints! It was nice to see Amina, Trent, and Loretta again too. I freaking love that cute little Tennessee town!

The romance was sweet and redemptive, but there was definitely a LOTTT of emphasis on physical attraction at first due to Dahlia's seductive behavior. I was also a little surprised to see so much encouragement from Greyson's parents to pursue her when she wasn't a Christian at the time, but I think it was more from a lens of showing her the love of Christ. I think this situation is more of an exception and not the rule. Anyway. It all works out in the end.

Greyson Davis has the Midas touch when it comes to business investments. But success hasn’t come without a price. He doesn’t spend enough time with his parents, he doesn’t really have time for God, and he has collected a few enemies along the way. And he just can’t seem to find the right assistant. That is until Dahlia Moore walks into interview. Easy on the eyes, well spoken, highly intelligent—exactly what he needs.

All Dahlia wants in this life is to make her father proud. But she has never been good enough for him. The man she calls father has another life, wife, and family that is not her own. A business with shady connections and underhanded ways, he enlists her female talents when it serves his purpose. Promising her a new life and career is she succeeds. When Greyson advertises for an opening at his firm, her father takes this opportunity to bring down his financial nemesis.

This modern day Samson and Delilah retelling was so wonderfully written. It was full of biblical truths, hard decisions, deception and forgiveness, surrender and accountability.

Ransomed Love is the second book in the series and I could sense the set up for book three. Kate Goodwin doesn’t pull any punches with her real-life, gritty Christian fiction. Fans of T. Bell, Heather Camacho, or Hannah Lucero would enjoy this one.

Thank you to the author for the advanced copy, all opinions are my own.

Ransomed Love is a beautifully written Christian romance that touched me deeply. Inspired by the story of Samson and Delilah, Kate skillfully weaves biblical truth into a moving love story filled with grace, redemption, and forgiveness.

This was actually my very first closed-door Christian romance after deciding to step away from smut, and I couldn’t have picked a better place to start. I laughed, I cried, and I walked away completely inspired. The way the author showed God’s mercy and the power of forgiveness through Greyson and Dahlia’s journey was unforgettable.

Kate doesn’t just tell a love story — she points the reader back to God’s love, reminding us that His grace covers even our deepest failings. That message will stay with me for a long time.

If you’re looking for a heartfelt, faith-centered romance that is both clean and deeply meaningful, Ransomed Love is a must-read.

I am so honored to be given the opportunity to read an ARC of book two in this amazing series! Reckless Love absolutely wrecked me, in the best way, and I loved Ransomed Love just as much. Kate, you are an incredible human being and an incredible author. Thank you for sharing these stories.

This is a modern retelling of Samson and Delilah. Even though this is a Christian book, Kate tackles heavy and dark issues. Think Francine Rivers in Redeeming Love--darkness is present, but so is the light.

Kate's books will leave you feeling rejuvenated. The town of Hatcher Hollow is wonderful, almost Gilmore Girls (great fall vibes). I almost cried when I realized the connection in this book from the previous!!

I’m adding a trigger warning section here after an ARC reader so sweetly reached out to let me know a particular scene caused her not to be able to finish the book. I don’t want that experience for more readers, so I hope this helps!
Trigger warnings for Ransomed Love:
- parental abuse scene
- alludes to past coercion
- seduction (there are no intimate acts that occur between the MCs)
- burlesque club setting without vivid description
- cancer

I loved this story about a modern day Samson and Delilah with a twist (so keep that in mind, there are some adult themes). It was a beautiful story and I loved how the author worked in God’s word. This book had me laughing, crying, and sharing emotions right along with the characters. I had to go and read the first book in the series before I started this one - because that’s how my brain works, it’s definitely not needed but I am so glad I did to have a bit of the back story. And now I cannot wait until the next book in the series comes out!!

Ransomed Love is another absolute masterpiece from Kate Goodwin! With romance, suspense, spiritual truths, and sacrificial love, Ransomed Love is a beautiful, modern reimagining of the Samson and Delilah story in the Bible and I couldn’t put it down!

I adored Greyson and Dahlia’s chemistry! The suspense of Dahlia’s secret mission had me on the edge of my seat, wondering how a happy ending could result in such a doomed situation. However, Goodwin pulled it off perfectly and I absolutely loved the resolution and ending. What a beautiful picture of Christ’s love for us!

The biblical truths threaded throughout the story truly made this Christian Fiction book not only an entertaining read, but also edifying. My heart was encouraged in my faith, and that is absolutely how I want to walk away from the books I read.

Ransomed Love is definitely a must read! You can read it as a standalone, but I think you’ll love it even more if you read the first book, Reckless Love, before starting this one. Reckless Love is just as stunning and meaningful as Ransomed Love. Goodwin is an auto-read author for me, and I can’t wait to read whatever she writes next!

Intimacy: Kisses only
Language: None
Content Considerations: Toxic parents, abusive parent, cheating (past), cancer, club scene/adult dancers (not graphic), alcohol use (mild)

Gritty. Emotional. Raw. Redemptive. WOW. What another beautiful story by Goodwin. I was very curious as to how she would pull off Samson and Delilah, and she did it. She just did it… Everyone should read this, and may your hearts be brought back to our Savior through this story.

Oh my, where do I begin! I loved this book so much. Kate, thank you so very much for having me on the ARC team of this masterpiece of yours.

Imagine a giant colossus striding across the venture capital landscape of America - he is your modern-day Samson, but a redeemed Samson who is not a slave to his passions.

Meet stunningly beautiful Dahlia Moore - your modern day Delilah with more father wounds than a mauled cat after a fight. Illegitimate daughter of Vincent Pazzini, she has only longed for one thing her entire life: his love, his recognition of her worth and being a family.

Samson, oops, I mean Greyson meets Dahlia who is ordered by Pazzini to join his company as his PA, and he is enraptured, completely captivated by her looks, intelligence and persona.

She likes him too, but keeps her cold, cold heart encased in ice. Can our Samson - who by the way, is someone we know very well - catch her attention sufficiently to thaw the ice encasing her heart? Or will she always be the sultry siren, out to use her "assets" and vamp men as a favour to her father whose favour and approval she desperately seeks. Can she bring our Samson to his knees?

Kate Goodwin has done herself proud with this cracker of a tale mixing modern day vibes with age old Christian values that never are unfashionable in the ultimate analysis. All are characters are rounded, with a depth to them and her writing has truly matured since her second novel - Redeemed Love, Book 1 of the Hatcher Hollow series. She manages the plot twists and turns effortlessly and smoothens out complications with the ease of a practised novelist. Nevertheless, there are no tidy endings presented with a bow. Her novels are raw, filled with messy human emotions and tangled situations we tend to find ourselves in as we hide from God and try to manage our own lifestyle. You can relate to the characters who are very human. I cannot recommend her books enough.

Read them and find out for yourselves if she won't end up on your auto TBR as she has on mine. Buy the book...

I was given an ARC for a review in exchange. However the opinions expressed here are my own, and the result of a classy act by Kate Goodwin. A positive review was never a requirement.

Part of the credit for the graphics go to her too. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't recommend it enough.
