I know a lot about fashion, and having your brother’s best friend babysit you while your family's out of town is not a good look.

Especially since I’ve wished every year on the Christmas star that Kane could see me as more than the dorky kid sister of his best friend. And every year my wish doesn’t come true.

But he made a promise to my brother to look after me, so I’m stuck spending more time with him than ever before. At first, I think it will be easy to ignore my feelings for him with a major deadline for my dream fashion program looming.

I have just under two weeks to make it happen, and the application needs to be my sole focus.

However, the more time I spend with Kane, the more I start to wonder if my crush on him is unrequited like I thought. Could my brother’s best friend have feelings for me?

~Curvy All the Way~ This was such a cute Christmas romance! I loved following a fashion-obsessed heroine trying to keep her head down and focus on her dreams… while her brother’s best friend is literally babysitting her. The forbidden crush vibes were so fun, all that slow-burn “does he like me back?” tension had me grinning the whole time. And that grand holiday gesture at the end? So worth the wait! 🎁💕 Sweet, swoony, and perfectly festive , a great Christmas love story to cozy up with!

What if the best part of the festive season wasn't the lights, the snow, or even the romance, but the moment someone finally learns to back their own dreams? Curvy All the Way, another charming instalment in Kelsie Stelting's young adult festive novella series, leans into that idea with warmth, sincerity, and a generous sprinkle of Christmas cheer.

Set once again in the cosy, Hallmark-esque town of Garland, this novella introduces Bethany, an aspiring fashion designer determined to tackle the very real problem of limited clothing options for plus-sized people. Her passion is clear from the start, and her vision for inclusive fashion becomes the emotional backbone of the story. Opposite her is Kane: level-headed, disciplined, business-savvy, and, inconveniently, her older brother's best friend, which automatically places him in the strictly off-limits category.

Watching Bethany and Kane grow closer as circumstances keep nudging them together creates a wonderfully cosy slow-burn dynamic. Their chemistry is sweet, believable, and full of those soft, fluttery moments that make festive romances so satisfying. Yet the true heart of the novella lies in how Kane supports Bethany's dreams without ever overshadowing them. His encouragement never veers into saviour territory; instead, it strengthens the message that the right partner doesn't complete you, they simply help you shine brighter.

One line in particular captures this beautifully: "I couldn't put a boy above my dreams, even if it was Kane." It's a sentiment that feels both empowering and refreshingly grounded, and it's exactly the kind of message I'd want my own daughters to take to heart. Romance is lovely, but not at the expense of your identity, and Stelting portrays that balance with admirable gentleness.

The novella also shines in its portrayal of cross-generational bonds. Bethany's relationship with her Grandma and her Grandma's wonderfully spirited social circle bring humour, warmth, and a lovely sense of community. These women add heart to the story while reinforcing the themes of giving back, staying connected, and cherishing the people who helped shape you.

Alongside its focus on ambition, female empowerment, supportive male roles, and body positivity, the book celebrates the idea of belonging: to family, to your community, and to yourself. Garland once again proves to be an irresistibly comforting backdrop, full of festive goodwill while keeping the emotion restrained and genuine.

Overall, Curvy All the Way is a delightful short read, perfect for curling up with after a long winter's day when you want something soothing, uplifting, and brimming with heart. With its wholesome themes and complete lack of spice, it's ideal not only for adults seeking a comforting seasonal escape but also for younger teens discovering festive romance for the first time. Warm, positive, and quietly empowering, it's precisely the kind of novella that leaves you feeling nourished long after the final page.

Thank you to Kelsie Stelting for a free ARC copy in return for an honest review

I love a happy ending, and this story felt like waking up well-rested and content — cozy, uplifting, and full of heart.

When I read that Bethany’s entire family was leaving for most of the holiday, I felt a little sad for her, even though she insisted it was what she wanted. Thankfully, she had her grandmother and the sewing club by her side to help with her fashion project! I loved her creativity and determination — refusing to settle for uninspired prints and instead designing her own to help curvy girls feel confident and beautiful.

Kane was such a great character — a hardworking guy running his snowball business during the holidays who didn’t hesitate to step up when his best friend asked him to look out for his little sister. His motives may not have been entirely selfless, but he kept his word and was so genuine in his care for Bethany.

One of my favorite moments was when Kane stood up to Bethany’s brother to tell him how he felt about her — no arguments, just a funny set of “rules.” It was lighthearted but also showed Kane’s respect and sincerity.

When Kane found the perfect venue for Bethany, my heart was full of joy — and when everything was destroyed, it broke for both of them. Bethany’s reaction felt so real, and I completely understood her frustration. The moment when the coach called to explain that the bear incident was no one’s fault was such an important emotional turning point.

Kane rallying the sewing club to help repair her designs was such a touching gesture. And having the scout in the audience at the end brought everything together in the most beautiful way — a perfect, heartfelt conclusion to an amazing series.

When Bethany and her friends attend the annual tree lighting ceremony in their Christmas-themed town, she makes a wish upon the star on the top. Instead of wishing for love with her brother’s best friend Kane as usual, she wishes for her greatest dream to come true - to be chosen to attend a summer fashion program and get one step closer to her ultimate dream of becoming a plus-size clothing designer.

When Kane’s best friend goes out of town during the holidays, he asks Kane to keep an eye on his little sister Bethany… who Kane has also secretly had a crush on for years.

The sparks are there and both characters are fun. I’d never heard of someone selling snowballs as a job before this book, but it works for Kane! I love the stories shared about previous customers and snowball donations. Plus Bethany has a great relationship with her grandma and the sewing circle. Kelsie really made the characters believable and made the reader root for their HEA. A fun quick read!

Hooray! Bethany gets her turn! I am so grateful that I got to be an ARC reader for this wonderful new release. I absolutely loved the first three curvy girl Christmas books last year but was so sad not to get to see the other two get their turn. I've read the newest instalments and they are just as good as the rest. These books show these amazing girls getting their HEA but even more important getting to learn how to love themselves for who they really are. I myself was an above average girl from my early teens (and still am) and the curvy girl and curvy girl Christmas series have helped heal a bit of my (formerly) teenage heart.

This book is the perfect seasonal read for every young adult (or young at heart 😉, but especially those beauties with a little extra curve. Ten out of ten would recommend!!!!

**Fashion Show!**

**ALC Review**

Another gem from the "A Curvy Girl Christmas" series is "Curvy All the Way." This series is always a mix of sweetness and fun! I really enjoyed the story of Kane and Bethany. They’ve both had crushes on each other but never let it show—until now! As Kane helps Bethany prepare for her fashion show, their connection blossoms beautifully through their collaborative efforts. Patrick Jean-Jacques and Courtney Encheff do a wonderful job narrating, bringing their charming Christmas love story to life. Just like the rest of the Curvy Girl series, it’s full of messages about body positivity and girl empowerment. Happy listening or reading, and I wish you all a joyful holiday season!

As usual I love all Kelsie! This was no exception! The way Kane and Bethany interact and the brothers best friend is a trope I am ALWAYS obsessed with. Bethany being obsessed and the way they fall for each other after all the years has me swoony. I love a good YA romance and like all of the CGC series this is another flawless read from Kelsie!
I am so ready for the holiday season so reading these Christmas break novels has been fantastic.
Kane putting all of her needs before himself and his job and being the guy to talk to Bethany’s brother first is just total green flag energy.
Kelsie continues to always write green flag guys any high schooler would be proud to be with.

Curvy All the Way is a sweet, cozy holiday read full of charm and heart. I loved the brother’s-best-friend trope and the adorable slow-burn between Kane and the heroine. Their chemistry is both wholesome and swoony, and the story perfectly balances Christmas magic with personal growth and self-confidence. The fashion subplot adds a fun, creative touch, and I appreciated how the heroine learns to believe in herself while following her dreams. It’s a short, feel-good romance that will leave you smiling and craving hot cocoa. Perfect for readers who love festive, clean, and heartwarming love stories!

Ugh I LOVE Kelsie’s writing. Being plus size, it’s not always fun to go shopping and find clothes that feel AND look good. I The addition of fashion inclusivity warmed my heart just as much as the cozy story itself and I felt so seen.

There were times I thought things happened faster than I expected, but knowing the characters grew up together outside of the story where I couldn’t see, makes sense.

For a short and sweet easy Christmas read, it was perfect and left me feeling warm and fuzzy and ready for the next Garland Story. It also made me want to start making my own clothes.😂

Kelsie Stelting has such a gift for blending humor, heart, and those confidence-boosting moments that make you smile long after you’re done reading.

It’s festive, fun, and full of warmth—exactly what I want in a holiday story. I couldn’t stop smiling while reading this one. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a feel-good, cozy Christmas read!

Loved their short story. Best friend little sister perfection!!!! Kane is ask by his BFF to take care of his little sister while he is away. Kane tries hard to do it incognito, but he can deny what he has felt for her for a long time. Bethany is obsessed with fashion, she needs to focus on her dream fashion program. Spending time together is what they may need to have their wishes granted. But she is not sure she can focus on her forever crush while working on the biggest opportunity of her life.

Super cute novella - loved the audio!

All the way complete, at least for now. The Garland Christmas Tree Star has granted all its wishes and the curvy girls have all been granted the one thing they never thought they'd have love.
Like with all the curvy girl books it comes with the message that all bodies are beautiful which is a message I love. Beyond that though is the message that if you believe in and love yourself you can allow others to as well.
Of course this last story has one of my very tropes, best friend's little sister. I absolutely adore this series and have really enjoyed it.

I loved Bethany & Kane's story x Have always loved a romance where its the brother's best friend because it just proves that you guienually can't help who you fall in love with & when that love is reciprocated then why should it matter who that person is x
Also I just wanted to shout out the Book's Dedication:
For anyone who's struggled finding the right size in the store - clothes should be made to fit you, not the other way around

A sweet YA novella about a childhood crush and following your dreams! Bethany wants to get into a fashion program with her inclusive designs and her brother's best friend Kane is helping her out. Little do they know both of them have unrequited crushes on the other. We are along for the ride to follow their blossoming relationship, as well as Bethany's journey to throwing her very first fashion show!

A very sweet YA holiday story. Bethany's brother's best friend is Kane. They've been crushing on each other for a while now. And brother is out of town, he asked Kane to keep an eye on her so she doesn't get lonely. She's staying with Grandma and going to the sewing club. Which is fun for Bethany since she wants to be a plus size fashion designer. Kane doesn't find it hard to spend time with her at all.

I love all of Kelsies curvy girl series! And Curvy and Bright & Curvy All The Way are just as amazing as the rest. Sera and Bethanys stories gave me that happy, gooey feeling you get when you watch a Christmas movie. These are the perfect quick Christmas reads to get you in the spirit. I love that each girl found value within themselves and proved they can be whoever/do whatever they want and not be dictated by their size.

*ARC Review* Another cute short story from Kelsie. She just knows how to write captivating stories. Kane is a sweetheart! I love that he valued his friendship so much that he put aside his feelings for Bethany. But when it came down to it he was a standup guy and talked to his friend about. Bethany is a body positive role model for girls! They made a cute couple.

This is another great addition to Garland.
Bethany & Kane’s shows that no matter what happens love will find away.
Bethany tried to focus on her Fashion show, while Kane was trying to stick to the “Bro code” with his best friend’s little sister. They tried to hide their crushes but in the end it was just meant to be.

Kelsie truly hit it out of the park, again. Curvy all the way brings your right back into the Christmas magic that is Garland, ME. Bethany is proof that even curvy girls deserve to have all of their dreams come true. With just a little Christmas magic, anything is possible. Bethany and Kane are absolutely perfect for each other. I could relate so much to Curvy All the Way. The love story is sweet, and the character growth was strong. I loved how independent Bethany was, but still able to ask for help when she needed it.

Another thing I loved in this book was that some parts reminded me of Gilmore Girls, which always brings a smile to my face.

Thank you to Kelsie's team for letting me read this story as an ARC!
