Not my favorite book on Christian apologetics, but it does make many good points. I especially loved the chapter on justice where the author discusses heaven and hell. I think some of his arguments were weak and odd and didn’t make the points I think he was after very well. As well as attacking atheistic beliefs with an , “Oh yeah, well you do this!” Type attitude that is probably not the best tactic.
Excellent read! Goes through "belief basics" in a simple and grounding way; also highly recommend (even if you aren't part of the "young people" crowd anymore) ;)
Good information on many topics of debate. I wish there was more information on a few of the subjects, but this is more of an introductory to many topics so I understand why there isn’t.
A really good book by Kyle Butt that defends Christianity vs those who choose not to believe the existence of God. I believe it is really the burden of a non-believer to prove God DOES NOT exist more then the Christian to prove that God DOES exist. One thing Mr Butt notes is that if the non believer is correct...then there is no absolutes in deciding what is morally right or wrong. Please read this books and others like it if you have a interest in defending Christian principles.
I ended up skimming the second half of the book, because it's just a little too dry to keep my attention. I thought that this book was geared to teens, but I think it's actually meant more for an adult to use as a resource in teaching teens. There are a few leaps in logic that an adult could intuitively grasp, but a teen might need more explicit explanation. Overall there is a lot of value in this book, but it's not the most exciting to read.
