LONG POST!!!!
This is going to be a very unpopular opinion and you know what? I’m ok with that🙃. So I quite literally do not like Tuesday. I found myself kissing my teeth every time I got to her POV. Do I like her and Pierre’s relationship? Yes I do. I’m happy Pierre found someone because he grew on me. But what really threw me off and sealed the deal for me not liking Tuesday was when she waltz her ditsy ass in Sasha’s shop in an attempt to “check her”. Bitch is you dumb? Sasha did nothing to you and she quite literally DO NOT want Pierre. YOUR MAN was still obsessed with her and bothering her and her new man when all she tried to do was be cordial with YOUR ass even when your nosy ass FOLLOWED her to her friend’s house. Like make it make sense😑😑😑. Tatianna kept having Pierre say how “different” Tuesday was and I kept going back to see what was so different or spectacular about Tuesday. Especially in the earlier pages when Pierre kept saying it after one week of knowing her because they never even had a profound conversation until after the incident when they made back up🥴🥴🥴🤔🤔. I get Tatiana loves to write insta love stories but I just didn’t see where the LOVE came from so soon in the book. Lust? Yes but love no. However, I did start to feel/see the love later on in the books. Sasha was dealing with her own heavy load of shit and you went in her shop to basically gloat that you got the man to do everything for you in two weeks that he wouldn’t do for her in two years. Congratulations bitch you WON. So why are you in her shit? Take your goofy ass on somewhere😒😒😒. And telling her she needs to heal (Yes she does but the audacity of you to think that you have a right to tell her that when you don’t know her). And I also hated the way she dealt with/spoke to her mother.
I absolutely loved Samara in Dio’s first book and I still love her however, she lost me in Dio’s second book. So much shit could’ve been avoided had she just opened her mouth and speak. I guess it was needed so that the drama in the story can move along but it was still upsetting. Like girlll you were literally in the shop when the fire started and you saw who did it but decided to go home and not say anything🙃🙃. Thennnnn the minute you heard Zaria say that Dio was hurt your ass should’ve been singing like a canary telling Zeus and Chevy everything you knew about what was happening in New York. You let them be out there blind and lost trying to put puzzle pieces together when you knew everything 😒. The whole Samara, Dio and Keith situation I’m going to give them some grace on because they are literally teenagers but wrap it up Kieth because it was always going to be Mars and Dio.
I hate the route we going with Preach and Navi. My heart aches for them. How did we go from them being in love, happy and engaged in their book to them fighting, breaking up and preach telling Navi that she adds no value to his life? I get all relationships have fights and disagreements but I hope Tatiana dive more into how they got there. I can see Tatiana is setting up a relationship between Sage (the hairstylist) and preach😔 and idk how I feel about it. We didn’t even get to see them TRY to work it out or resolve anything. Just a fight and then a harsh breakup. And if we really being fr Preach IS a hypocrite. Like let’s really be fr fr🙄.
I love Sasha and I love Zeus. Both of them have been through so much. I really hope them two go to therapy to get the help they need individually and as a couple. BOTH of them do not know how to communicate properly and BOTH of their feelings were valid about the situation. Sasha you literally almost freak the fuck out in the cafe when that girl only grazed Zeus back. Yet you don’t understand how he was so mad when he went to your shop called your phone and watched you decline his call because you were talking to your ex and then you and your ex hugged up crying and comforting each other while he outside watching it. Be fr anybody would freak out and think the worst. Could Zeus have handled the situation better after you told him that wasn’t the case and hear you out? Yes he most definitely could’ve. He did not need to go to the extent of changing the locks on you. But in that moment both of y’all were going through something terrible. Please seek therapy because you can’t poor from empty cups.
I still love Diamond and Yanna. So happy for them and their new baby☺️
Best was cool. She was an ok addition. I love how she loved her kids and how she accepted Tuesday while never bashing Sasha. I didn’t really care for her story with Naheem but I guess it gave the story more layers and we understood Naheem motives a little bit more. Tatiana gave us a visual of how best look at the beginning of the book so I already had her in my head as my grandma because that’s exactly how she look. So when Tatiana gave us a sex scene with those two baby I gagged and immediately skipped those pages🤮😭.
I’m so happy Quinton/ SoHo got what he deserved. I didn’t feel one ounce of remorse for him. Next up Naheem and Clark.
And last but not least it’s gone always be team Chevy😂😂. I support his rights and his wrongs. I love Bishop too don’t get me wrong him and indigo. I really hope they come to some type of truce without anyone in the crews meeting their demise. But until then 🧡. I still love me some Zaria. She is still my favorite FMC in the whole series. I hope to see more interactions with her and Dio in Chevys next book.

What worries me about this ending is in the next book who we are going to lose..it makes me so sad to love both sides and to think that one or multiple of them won’t make it out of this alive..

Lies, secrets, betrayal and disloyalty is heavy in the Cove! The past should be just that - the past, however, it always find a way back and when it does it still causes havoc! Let’s chat!!!
The secrets in the Cove are heavy and resurfacing heavily! How is grown man suppose to reaction find out he not who he thought he was 🤔? How does a grown man come back from the hurt, disloyalty and pain he has caused 🤔? Ya boy has wrote too many checks his behind couldn’t cash - see Quintin was a lost soul trying to fit in! He allowed his childhood pain guide his future with jealousy and betrayal! Honestly didn’t like him from the jump! Ya boy was weak in my eye, but he was also lost! Learning the pain he inflicted on others had me 😡! In all honesty I don’t feel sorry for him! Yep I said it 😉!
I’m not going to go into a long spill as I know there is so much more to come! However, have to discuss the tension and beef between the two alpha men - Chevy & Bishop! Their hands, listen wasn’t ready but was there for it all! They both are playing with fire if you ask me! They are in the battle of their mothers in my opinion. Both protecting theirs and to see who will be the last one standing. Can I be honest and I may be completely wrong, but honesty after that ending I feel they will come together and change the dynamic by ending the cycle between the Avery’s and the Merciers!
Now I’m not pleased about the issue with in Zoo as far Preach & Navi and Zu & Sasha! To me Zu & Sasha issue is a lack of communication and past hurt. Both dealing with issues within and don’t know how to talk about it! Now don’t get me wrong, adult activity is amazing but it doesn’t solve the deeper issue. It only places a bandaid on it for the moment! Now Preach & Navi, ya boy just done! Listen he held nothing back for his reasons why and my mouth was on the ground 🫣! Stop playing with Preach lol!
Tuesday & Pierre - love their relationship down 🥰! Tuesday plays no games but she really can’t handle pressure if you ask me, but her light is beautiful! The way Pierre loves this woman is beautiful! He loved Sasha for their season but it wasn’t what him and Tuesday have. Don’t get wrong, he was always have love for Sasha for what they shared but more! However, to learn what he learn was a lot and had me wanting to jump in the book cause I was 😡! Nothing can go far if based off trauma! I’m here to see how their relationship grows! Oh can’t forget BEST! I love her and she play not a single game when it came to her children! But that past, baby I’m so glad to made the decision she made! However, I do feel she may have been the cause of Naheem spiraling! But again, my opinion!
Listen, there is more that can be discussed as this was an amazing page turner! Tatiana is creating a universe/world like no other! The details, plots and storyline was top tier. Can’t wait to see what’s next!!

Lawddddd The Cove vs The Zoo……this is too much.
I loved how this story kept me wanting to read more. Everybody is stubborn. The Zoo men are irrational and act before thinking. The Cove men are the same. It was more of a tit for tat beef between them.
Quinton: He got what he deserved. I hated him for what he did to Sasha and Tuesday.
Pierre: He’s grown on me. I loved that he learned from his mistakes and did his best to do better and be better man. I like him and Tuesday together. They fell in love fast but I’m a sucker for a good love connection. His need to take over other people problems will be the death him though. He can’t fix everything.
Bishop: I don’t know whether I like him or not. In my opinion he’s as hot head like Chevy and he won’t back down for nothing. That’s his biggest flaw. The war between Chevy and him is going to be insane. I wonder if they come to a compromise…
Preach: I hate how his relationship with Navanna is turning out. But I’m not surprised. I wasn’t a huge fan of them getting together when I first read his book. To me there wasn’t enough connection between the two. I didn’t see how they fit but if you love someone you’ll make it work. I feel like Preach is telling Navi exactly how he feels and Navi won’t accept that. Instead trying to see where he is coming from, she’s not listening. She’s only looking at their situation from her POV. I hope they can work out their differences. But I feel like Preach is doing the exact same thing to her.
Chevy: that man is so bullheaded. I know he’s big on respect and he’s been through a lot but he needs to starting thinking Zaria and his seed more. He can’t be moving recklessly cause he’s putting his family in danger .
Zeus and Sasha: Lawddd I’m sick of the both of them. Thru lack of communicating was one of the biggest things that pissed me off. Both of them have a lot of trauma. They need therapy. I do like them together though. I think they work well with each other.

Urban soap is right!! I am totalli enjoyin this, 💙and 🧡 , even though i knw each histori and hw it all became the dynamic it is. Im still team zoo! But i do hve characters i lke on the blue side! Bishop and Chevi two alphas, i wish they come together and not stay divided, glad zu and freckles hashed it out and preach and navi had they final due lol, well Navi couldn't accept preach for who he was🤷🏽♀️ 👋🏽i also like hw he gracefulli put navi in her place lol, i got a feelin who preach gon end up wit 😉. I js wished navi would be adapted because all they went thru to b together, oh well 🤷🏽♀️ As usual mi fav couple is zaria and chevi! I hope the next book will keep them together👁️👁️! i like hw zaria threw tht zoocue to allow the famili to get out whtever it was they needed! I wrked. Beans and Paige "friends" the women frm orange and blue r friends, so i hope the sisterhood bring they stubborn, prideful men together 🤦🏾♀️ well ... The Cove is getting out of control. Everyone, well a good percentage of the couples are having problems, and Quinton and Naheem are both out here plotting. It must be in the blood. We learn a huge secret, or we get a more in depth view of Best's secret and the fact she really does know about what's really going on in The Cove and Lake Hill. I'm disheartened by what's transpired between Preach and Naavi...why??? I guess it's just another season. Pierre shows growth in this book and finally starts to look out for himself. It's ok to support your friend, but look out for you too. I'm glad Tuesday found her power and the ability to forgive. Naheem really is something else and I hope in the end his undoing is at the hands of Best. I love that Chevy has really taken Samara in as his family and he's stepping behind her. Keith, I really need him to take that L because Dio's future is bright and I want that and happiness for him. I need Bishop and Chevy to put all this chaos to rest because they're proving to be as bad as their parents and grandparents when they both have the potential to make everything better. Quinton was definitely a rabid dog that needed to be put down!!!…To inflict the things he did on Sasha and attempt to on Tuesday was crazy!!!…He blamed everyone for his shortcomings but himself!!!…I’m sure Pierre will carry that with him for a long time!!!../

There has been so much going on in The Cove, and Tatiana Timmons is giving us these glimpses into the madness and I do not want to stop looking! Yes, our Zoo Boyz are out here causing their usual chaos, but don’t sleep on the original Cove dudes. They can bring just as much smoke, if not more.
Now… that little secret about Quinton, Sono, and/or “Soho” (I call him Temporary Baby) hit me like a ton of bricks. 😩 But even after that reveal, I was still sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for Quinton to get what he deserved. And let me just say Tati did not disappoint. She gave us exactly what we needed, and it fit perfectly into the storyline.
I had a little side-eye energy for Pierre for a minute because why hadn’t he found Quinton yet?! But once he did? Oh, he definitely redeemed himself. He knew what needed to be done, especially if he wanted Tuesday to ever feel safe again. Their relationship may have been new, but you could tell his love for her ran deep.

Man this is getting crazier by the chapter. Them damn parents and grandparents did a number on their kids. The crazy thing is that Naheem didn't seem all bad but just like Quinton it's that Avery curse. I legit don't know how I feel about Bishop and Chevy going at it, they are definitely worse than their mothers. Now I really have to think about what would have happened if Chevy was raised by his mom and their people?!?! I am glad Sasha and Zu got it some what together because Navi and Preach breaking my heart but I feel like Navi is not herself. She was a cop out in the world doing her own thing and that could be what she feeling. Any books coming next gonna be crazy but I am feeling like they about to activate Zaria crazy!!

I feel like I'm watching a series on Netflix!!!
This was such a good read although I feel like I need to re-read the Cove series some things aren't clear to me, like Best for instance and her storyline but even so I could piece together enough to know Naheem is a mess! The Cove and the Zoo just can't seem to get along and I’m really not sure how some of these couples are going to stay together as z result of lines being crossed. So much happened Soho/ Quinton was a lost soul too bad he could never get it right. He was just a messed up individual! I am really loving the meshing of the 2 groups, can't wait to see what's next. I'm going to have to review my guide for sure!!!

I don’t understand how Navi and Preach got to that point of him basically telling her she adds no value. I feel like she gave up a lot to be with him and they seemed so in love initially. I also understand him being frustrated by her antics of hiding his bible etc but for real Preach you’re a hypocrite …. You showed her the side of you that’s in the streets what you expect ? I liked Navi for him and him for her. I don’t like that the dynamics in the group will be changed .. mostly the female side now with Navi not being with Preach. Not really feeling the hairdresser for him. I feel like at some point he needs to decide street life or preacher life. Anywho love Chevy and love Dio. Sasha and Z need to communicate better.

Man this story was so good, I loved how everything started to come to the surface, the whole story is just incredible I’m salty I finished it to be honest. Yeah Tatiana did her thang with this story, the flow everything. I can’t wait for the next book I really hope Chevy and Bishop can work things out because I’m Zoo all day but it’s something about bishop that has me wavering a little lol

I'm just disappointed!
I am a stand for Chevy and the Zoo Boys but all of their behavior has been irresponsible and childish. It's like they forgot they had the ability to speak and convey their thoughts with out these knee-jerk reactions. And that fight situation was just laughable. It was the epitome of to grown men acting like boys. I hope the women step in and get these fools together. They all have too much to lose.

Honestly this whole book was pointless. Now we just dragging and dragging. You gave the history of the drama in Ang and Graces story what’s the need to go back and add more people but the same story. Then you got people (couples) fighting just to fight; everyone pulling guns out blue vs oranage/orange vs blue and nobody shooting. Chevy ain’t being Chevy and it don’t sit right.

This was so good. I need Chevy & Bishop to make up before they both lose their women. I’m hoping that they both find out what Naheem & the meciers are up to bc why were they getting off on them beefing. Naheem & Clark need to be handled and I feel like the city can get some type of peace.

I thought I had a lot to unpack in volume 1 but volume 2 was a wild ride. I was pulled so many ways but I would expect not less from my zoo/cove.
