DNF @ 4%. Hate to say it but I’m pretty suspicious about the fact that it’s been written by AI. Regardless if it wasn’t the ai style writing was too much for me to muscle through. Which is unfortunate because the premise did interest me.
At first i liked the tension and story but after a while it got really cringe i had to glance over it to finish. Felt very rushed and sometimes it was not clear i’f they were at a different location or narrative behind certain locations etc the switch up was very weird that i had to scroll back and i didn’t like the ending so i won’t be reading book 2
Also the word (daddy/daddy’s) gets mentioned way to much makes me cringe.
Halfway done, dragging through to the end because I still have hope and I refuse to dnf a book.
Plot: There is no story line whatsoever, if you asked me to retell the plot of this story I have nothing for you. This book felt like the author wrote random scenes with poorly written tropes and put them together to make a book. There’s no details, development or plot. I felt confused at times as the chapters changes scenes/locations without any indication.
There’s more monologue than actual conversation between them and it’s the same repeated scene just in different font.
Characters/tropes: This is supposedly meant to be a slow burn but the main mmc fall in love immediately, which makes no sense because they ignored her most of the time and spoke to her a total of 3 times and then admits he’s in love?!?!
Nothing made sense, there are no details given about the characters which makes it really hard to connect with them at all and I enjoy at getting to know the main characters!!!
Will come back once finished
