Ayumu is trapped between a blackmailing Katsumi on one side and an angry Manami on the other: If she doesn't shut up about Katsumi's sexual assault on her, he's going to expose bondage pictures of her to the whole school! And if she doesn't give the silent treatment to Hatori, the only person that has offered her kindness, Manami and her group will never speak to her again! And she's also poised to lose Hatori's friendship entirely. Ayumu's got to find some inner strength and make her own decisions before the pressure sends her right back to cutting.
Is it torture porn? Maybe, if you've never lived through some of what Ayumu experiences. Suenobu absolutely nails the "no way out" feeling of being the target of bullies, and if Ayumu has more than her fair share (not that there's any such thing as a "fair share" in this case), it serves to illustrate how difficult it can be to just get someone to notice. Miki comes the closest to being there for Ayumu, but she's got her own problems, and as a fellow child, it's not her place to stand up...though even when the bullying is literally under his nose, their homeroom teacher does exactly nothing. This series hurts.
This story is told more by pictures than by text. Sometimes, this means that I don't quite know what is going on, but it works most of the time. It also makes the reading faster.
Los capítulos donde no sale el novio son tan buenos. De verdad si esta historia no insistiera con centrarse en ese imbécil y la tonta de su novia este manga sería buenisimo, que rabia
