Readers LOVE Lottie My daughter couldn't put it down and read it in 2 days. Read at breakfast, walking downstairs, tea time, in the bath. My 9-year-old daughter devoured it in two nights, and all I could hear from her was giggling and the occasional "Mum! Listen to this! This is SO me!". My 12 year old reluctant reader took this book, read 100 pages in one night and proclaimed it 'the best book ever' Katie has managed to capture the essence of what this group think and feel in a positive, life-affirming fashion'

Katie Kirby is a writer and illustrator who lives by the sea in Hove with her husband, two sons and dog Sasha.
She has a degree in Advertising and Marketing and after spending several years working in London media agencies, which basically involved hanging out in fancy restaurants and pretending to know what she was talking about, she had some children and decided to start a blog called 'Hurrah for Gin' about the gross injustice of it all.
Many people said her sense of humour was silly and immature so she is now having a bash at writing children's fiction. The Extremely Embarrassing Life of Lottie Brooks is her first novel.
Katie likes gin, rabbits, over-thinking things, the smell of launderettes and Monster Munch. She does not like losing at board games or writing about herself in the third person.
This was so fun and easy to read. Its always a hoot with Lottie and I enjoy reading about her antics and shenanigans immensely. It makes a lovely light escape!
I love how Lottie faces such mortifying moments but she repeatedly bounces back from them like its nothing. It sends a good message to the YA audience and heck perhaps even the adults that you should be brave, confident and even if something embarrassing happens don't get knocked down by it just keep being your weird unique self ✨️
I found myself chuckling outloud a few times which is what I was looking for in this book. I definitely look forward to reading more Lottie Brooks books as its always a blast!.
Great new book read it in less than two days Was a fun read just like all the others and definitely would recommend Laughter and awkward moments overall a amazing book Hoping there is a new one that comes soon!
This was extremely silly and generally a good time, but I think it might also be my least favourite book in the Lottie Brooks series to date purely because most of the side characters I like are back in the UK and Lottie's off in France with the side characters that kind of make me roll my eyes repeatedly. But I'm hardly the target demographic for this, so take this with a large grain of salt.
It was so funny being back with Lottie! I’ve had this for ages, but not picked it up until now! She’s off skiing and obviously there are many disasters - annoying children, disastrous skiing, falling out, ex-boyfriends and stolen snacks! Just proper good fun as usual!
Really enjoyed this book, the ninth in the series. Many highlights stood out for me, the girls go on a skiing trip The dinner they attend that involves sticky toffee pudding made me hungry, running in an airport in your nightie and slippers was an image that was something relatable, in that when we used to go to Greece we used to be up super early, (never in the airport in pjs) but it gave me a giggle. Throwing your passport and diary in a bin instead of a coffee cup was a big oops - don't ever do it Heels on a skiing holiday - not a good idea.
This Book is hilarious. I laughed out loud a little too many times. Lottie is crazy and super realistic with that hint of fantasy. Her Hot French ex boyfriend and Mean Girl Friend amber all pulled together with Pointy nose and a great big mascot for the bow. This book is super great and I highly recommend this for all ages to 3-9 maybe not the 9's but hey I still will probably love Lottie.
The drawings are as good as ever and very expressive. I finished this book in ONE DAY!
It was an amazing read and I enjoyed every part of it. My favourite part was either pn / Phoebe leaving with Monty and TamaRAA or the ski school that Lottie attended. It was a spectacular book and I can not wait for the next Lottie brooks book by the fabulous Katie Kirby!! Must read :)

I LOVED THIS BOOK, bought a SIGNED copy on holiday, read it and loved it, will never forget you Wally. Not very much else to say tbh just a good book overall!
These books always make me feel emotional at the end. Lottie had a epic holiday but in this book the focus isn't only on her. Which is great because she is proving that she is a girls girl. (Even though we already knew)
I have absolutely no words to describe how amazingly brilliant this whole series is!! I highly recommend this book to everyone! This new instalment has the best mishaps and disasters yet!! You will laugh your way through it in no time.
I loved this book they always make me laugh the funny story’s you get each day so funny I’m always on the edge of my seat waiting for the next one to arrive and then I read them in about 2.5 hours😂
Ok.. This was amazing! But the thing is it wasn’t as Lottie brooks embarrassing advicey type of thing it was just a bit boring unlike for example the majorly awkward crushes
