- “I’m sorry Gracie.” “Sorry for what? What are you doing?” I hold my hands up to ward him off as he comes closer. “Stay away from me.” Oh god, this is it. There will be no witnesses to my murder; they’ll only find my body parts strewn across the park. I open my mouth to scream, but his hand clamps over it, stopping me. Tears well up in my eyes and a sob escapes my covered lips. I don’t want to die, I’m not ready yet. He presses in, smothering me. Everything suddenly becomes dark, as if I've been swallowed by shadows.-

This is PART 1 of a series.
(WARNING, this mini-series does contain paranormal and supernatural themes)
I really enjoyed this book. Her visionary writing skills were superb. I felt like I was standing next to each character in the story.
The story begins with Gracie and her boyfriend driving down the road and she is excited because she believes he is going to propose.
When they are involved in a car accident, her boyfriend is knocked out barely breathing. While she is trying to get her boyfriend out of the car a strange man appears, a man with white eyes and as he touches her boyfriend she notices he goes limp. She begs the man to help him and the man simply says.
We have a girl, Gracie, who gets picked up by her boyfriend, Brendan, in hopes of that tonight he was going to propose but they get into a car accident instead and she makes a deal with a shadowy figure that she said she would do anything if her boyfriend’s life would be saved. Now her boyfriend has amnesia and bans her from his hospital room and she is being stalked. Who is this shadowy figure and what plans does he have for her? With a story this short it’s hard to really get a handle on anything but I have to admit it has potential.
