Briar Reynolds has something to prove. Many call it a massive chip on her petite shoulders. She doesn’t care. With her siblings by her side, Briar will prove them all wrong about a cottontail shifter being an enforcer. Her resolve is tested when her sister is taken and she not only has to fight to get her back but struggle with the insane attraction to the big man who’s her mate and the one that can lead them right to her sister. Knox Grayson wants nothing more than to follow in his father’s paw prints to become an enforcer. With an incredible talent, he thought he had it in the bag. But he was wrong and now he’s isolated himself, only venturing out to get into a fight or helping where he can. It all changes when his mate comes out of nowhere and reluctantly needs his help. His grizzly is all too eager to go toe-to-toe with the feisty little woman. Can they get to Blakely in time? And what sinister plot are they about to stumble into?
Brooke lives on the dangerous side. Dangerous in that she had no fear walking into the dark woods alone. When she isn’t venturing in the woods, creeping up on animals to photograph, or casting a line where she can, she’s busying her way through whatever random story has consumed her. With an imagination that is far from limited; you’ll never know if you’re getting a werewolf or hunting guide, or something dark next. Brooke lives in northern Wyoming that inspires almost everything she writes. You never know, she might have already unleashed your new favorite book boyfriend into the world. She loves hearing from readers and anyone who feels like talking. Feel free to pay her a visit whenever.
This is the first book I’ve read in this series, and didn’t realise it was part of a larger series when I started. The book was good, Briar and Knox made a good pairing, but I felt it was a little rushed in parts, and the book was very short. I might read the full series, just to see what other characters are about.
Short and spicy just like killer bunny Briar. If Knox hadn't been rejected he would not have come across his mate so soon. I loved this story and the Rogue Enforcers are always kicking butt and taking names.
This book was a blast to write. I was so thrilled to be invited into Grace's world and a badass bunny was the first character to pop into my mind. Briar was a blast. She's a take charge shifter with a soft spot only reserved for a select few. I won't go into anymore of the story. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.
This is the first book I've read of this author and if all of her books are like this then I need more. From the first sentence to the two words the end Brooke May kept me on the edge of my seat. Between the action and chemistry I felt like I was there. This is a must read.
