Ever see Twilight, wherein vampy-girl Alice Cullen does a graceful posture on the mound during baseball with her friends? Granted that's a cool combo of ballet and baseball, and I'm ure you guys had YOUR "bats" raised (hah hah, bad joke). Now finally there's a cute kids' book that combines the two in a way that honors both w/o the double entendres that go normally with ballet grace. A young girl finds flexibility playing baseball and ballet, fusing them into one and becoming the star player, but can she dance away from bullies who don't understand? Help comes from an unlikely source...one that's "bananas" in every sense of the word. Read and see what I mean.
