All the Promises of God are Fulfilled in Christ : The Christocentric Heart of Scripture

Rate this book
Every promise in the Bible—every prophecy, type, and covenant—finds its “Yes” in Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20). From Genesis to Revelation, the entire storyline of Scripture points to one Person. This book traces that golden thread with exegetical depth and pastoral warmth, showing how the Old Testament’s covenants, sacrifices, and hopes are not replaced but gloriously fulfilled in the Lord Jesus and His church.

Whether you are a new believer wanting to see how the whole Bible fits together, a small-group leader looking for rich discussion material, or a seasoned saint longing to love Christ more, these pages will help you behold the Savior who stands at the center of every page of God’s Word.

Includes a concise, eye-opening appendix showing how the Mosaic Covenant followed the exact form of an ancient suzerain-vassal treaty — explaining why the Bible insists the Old Covenant is truly obsolete and the New is gloriously different.

• 11 chapters with built-in discussion questions — perfect for personal study or groups
• Clear, accessible, and relentlessly Christ-centered
• Foreword by Keith Foskey
• The flagship volume of the growing Christ-Centered Theology series

This book was pretty good. I really loved and appreciated the Christ centered theological emphasis in this book. The ending was a bit repetitive but probably helpful in drilling the main focus home.
