Core Handbook AThe Hyperfantasy RPG – For Players and Worldcrafters Alike

What if leveling up wasn’t the goal—but just the opening act?

EMPYREAN is a myth-fueled, rule-defying tabletop RPG that fuses d20 mechanics with anime heroism, cosmic storytelling, and the power fantasies you’ve always wanted to play. You’re not just building a character—you’re evolving a soul through war, wonder, and rebirth.

Inspired by Jungian archetypes and inner myth, EMPYREAN unfolds in a world where fears, dreams, prayers, and memories shape both the characters and the reality around them.

Inside this Core

Create modular characters using DNA Slots, allowing you to equip and evolve powers mid-combat, rather than waiting to "level up" like in traditional TTRPGs

Unlock a fluid, energy-based casting system—no per-day limitations, just raw willpower and timing

Rise across power tiers from Mortal to Immortal and beyond

Survive high-stakes combat where new abilities awaken during battle, not on a character sheet

Tap into over 4,200 new abilities, structured across scalable archetypes, combat triggers, and tiered progression

Fully compatible with Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, and d20 multiverse books. Dust off your forgotten rulebooks and breathe new life into classic monsters, maps, and builds.

All 128 Archetypes referenced here are fully detailed in the Archetype Compendium (Book C), ideal for advanced players and Worldcrafters preparing content behind the scenes.

You’re going to die. A lot. But you’ll come back changed—and more powerful every time.
