Blake University HBCU Chronicles: Kaiden & Tinsley
Tinsley Neil’s life had not been roses and rainbows. It was not until an unfortunate incident happened to her that she used to her advantage to make a change in her life for the better. She took the reins and moved forward, ultimately landing in Cove City, Georgia, years later. Deciding to return to school to complete the few courses needed to obtain the degree she never received, she enrolled at Blake University, an HBCU, through their Next Act Program for non-traditional students. On a mission to find herself and answers to questions she’d been asking her whole life, she never expected love to be one of the things she’d stumble upon.
Kaiden Anderson had no love for women. He was dealt a bad hand by the hands of both women he conceived children. Because of that, he was willing to provide women with only one night of passion. His heart was cold and secured behind a brick wall. It was a surprise he had the reaction he did upon first laying eyes on Tinsley Neil. However, a problem remained, his daughter Krystal, who became fast friends with Tinsley.

Love After the Pain
If being bent, but not broken was a person, it would be Miss Tinsley!!!…The weight she carried and the way she put herself back together was AMAZING!!!…
The way she loved her son and explained to him what happened to her and put both of them in therapy showed just how much she wanted to make sure they were healthy mentally and emotionally!!!…
I love how Krystal and her family embraced her and Kaiden said he knew he had a good thang in her too!!!…
I love the way the topic of SA was addressed and didn’t leave you cringy, but aware!!!…The book was beautifully written and I loved how it flowed!!!…

Awesome Read
Tinsley beat the odds of several bad situations life threw her way. Tyler was her first blessing, but forming her business and getting a degree came right after. Meeting Krystal was a breath of fresh air for the both of them until Kaiden hired her. Kaiden fell for her immediately. They ventured upon a few stumbling blocks due to her friendship with Krystal and her past, but remained cordial through it all. Kaiden refused to allow anyone or anything to harm Tinsley or Tyler. His family felt the same. Their love became something that they had both needed for awhile. The icing on the cake was meeting her biological parents and siblings. Great read!

Who Says Love Isn't Real
This has to be one of the best love stories I have read in awhile.
I am a hopeless romantic and love good love.
This story had me dropping tears.

Nice!
This author knows how to create a quick story and make it feel like it was longer . The characters were well written and the story moved along at a great pace. I enjoyed reading this.

This is a NTMA and I loved how she incorporated soo much drama in those story. Loved it 😍

It was okay in my opinion. I didn’t really care for Kaiden nor Tinsley and they are the lead characters so that was that.
