One man. Four women. No way home. When a wave of mysterious blue energy tears through reality, Jason Thorne wakes in a world that looks like Earth—but isn't. The skies are too bright. The coastlines have shifted. And the jungle teems with strange, primal creatures—some evolved, others engineered—none of them safe.
Stranded with four modern women—Alyssa, Jasmine, Raven, and Erin—Jason must lead, protect, and adapt fast. As the group struggles to survive, they encounter the remnants of a shattered civilization and native tribes descended from the old world. Among them is Tika, a fierce tribal girl whose rescue changes everything.
Jason's sword glows with uncanny power. The girls' belongings begin to manifest strange effects.
But danger is closing in. Mutant hybrids prowl the night. Tribal customs demand hard choices. And the fire of desire is spreading faster than anyone expected.
To survive, Jason must become more than a man out of time—he must become the heart of a new clan, a new way of life… and a new legend.

Characters and plot were great. Writing was good. There were repeated paragraphs that seemed left over from content pass by the author. He also forgot about things, such as having already included a tarp in the first round of hauled equipment, but it happened pretty frequently. I would read the next one, just for the story and characters.
The book started great in the middle it kinda slogged a bit (might have just been my current mood) but I'm glad I pushed through it. The last 25% of this book is fantastic and lays some cool ground work for the future.
