Boy, there was a lot to unpack in this story. Some very strong emotions, and some very fucked up betrayal by a friend. My heart hurt for Tawk so badly. This seemed a little darker than the usual but I liked that. Sometimes life can't be rosy. 4 stars

Woah what a ride! It was filled with angst for our couple and a side character or two! What I loved is that T doesn’t shy away from hard truths and our characters feel some!
Love of course wins but that journey for Tawk and Tammy was heart wrenching!

I could read these books everyday
If you love paranormal romance then you will love this author, she always has goofy funny characters and girls who seem real instead of perfect. The are serious moments that will hit home and there are parts that will make you cackle out loud (Or in the breakroom at work and scare everyone in there) I have read every one of T.S. Joyce books I can get my hands on. I love her so much and the books always make me feel good after reading them. Thanks again for another amazing read T.

Cold feet? Not with this Crew!
I adore the writing, the characters, the emotional roller coaster, the sweet, the spicy, the sometimes neck cracking twists, and the wider world building. This book just added another layer to that, with Tammy and Tawk mooo-ving back and forth, bith damaged, hurting, but wiling to try and grow, to heal. I just want to hug both of them so much and let them know it will be ok. Because it will.

Tawk is in town, after leaving his old Crew. He’s followed Jess to Wreck’s mountains…but when he stops into the bar for a drink, his intrigue with the human bartender Tammy starts a roller coaster of emotions as a Sentry dragon, he wouldn’t usually feel🤔
Great story and the sneak peek at the back, has me excited to see what comes next🫠

Cold Foot Sentry is the sixth title in the Wreck’s Mountains series, a connection to the Damon’s Mountains Universe, and brings us Tammy’s and Tawk’s unexpected and complicated romance.
We met Tawk in Jess and Kade’s story, the sentry dragon who feeds off of a witch’s powers and needs a witch for their very existence. He followed Jess when she moved into the Cold Foot Crew’s territory when she mated with Kade. He had no other choice in his mind. He wasn’t there to harm, but he also couldn’t stay with the crew who had harmed so many in the past. Do sentry dragons get second chances? Tawk isn’t sure, but since leaving the evil influence of his former crew, he’s questioning things. Feeling things… and everyone knows that sentry dragons do not have “feelings”, right?
We first met Tammy in Harley and Cash’s story, as she owned a bar in Bozeman that Harley, then Cash, frequented. She’s made changes in her life, for the betterment of herself, and moved to Darby, Montana, where the Cold Foot Crew lives. She’s intent on finishing her college classes, admittedly years later than she should have, and building a new, fresh start in a town where she at least knows some people who encourage her to fulfill her dreams. She never would have imagined that one barely talking, sexy dragon would change her life forever… and just maybe she’d change his, too.
Cold Foot Sentry by T. S. Joyce is emotionally intense. Not only because of the building relationship between Tammy and Tawk, but because of something unimaginable that happened, something that changed the dynamics of the crew. I hurt for so many people then, and while I understood why it could have happened, it changed my opinion of a character in a way that I’m not used to. I never expected to feel that level of disappointment in a fictional character that I had “championed”, but… the emotion was very real.
If you love a well-written, gripping shifter romance that will hold you enthralled throughout, then you’d love Cold Foot Sentry by T. S. Joyce. I am definitely looking forward to Cold Foot Revenge, up next, for some long-awaited answers.

Cold Foot Sentry
I'm enjoying that the Cold Foot crew is turning into a bigger crew than usual. And also that the author is introducing new stuff into her world. The Sentry dragon thing and witches are cool, as is the balance they provide each other.
The big upset in the story is about a lack of consent between the MMC and Jesse in an unusual context. I get where she went astray but I feel like they are even in the end. After all, he had been feeding off her power for years without asking.
Otherwise, the book is full of this author's usual fun banter and delightful rapport between characters.
“And why on earth would you vacation ten miles away from your house? Take her somewhere tropical.”
“Missoula?” Cash asked.
And…. This is a chef's kiss call back - beautiful in every way,
“What’s so funny?” Aaron asked.
“You’re the reason for the bangs? You?”
And
“Good. I don’t want his cupcake sloppy seconds.”
And
“Talking to you is like rubbing my balls across sandpaper.”
Dylan laughed. “Thank you.”

Sentry dragon shifter this time. Don’t know what that is? I still don’t really either. Our MC has little knowledge of himself, and doesn’t gain any in here. I did think the significance of the coaster would be explained in regards to the animal, but if it was I don’t remember it.
Speaking of animals… Tammy kept saying she had cats. Where were the cats? I wanted to see them interact with the dragon and how that played out, but they were literally never on page. There were a number of things in this book that I felt just got forgotten. Even the ending seemed like it forgot to tie up half the book and then it was over. I morphed into Jess’ story at some point and we lost focus on our MCs.
The betrayal in here… that was messed up. It made this book darker than others in the series, and it took a while to get the gravitas merited. It’s still the usual light, switch of sort of ridiculous insta romance at heart though, and I do love these books.

This is the sixth book in this series. They are better read in order, especially this one. Tawk is a sentry dragon. He was part of a crew that made him do things he didn't really want to but needed to do. Tammy has worked hard to get her life together. She moved to be close to Wreck's crew. There is something about Tawk. He just showed up and started hanging around her. She doesn't really understand why but she knows the feelings he is stirring up in her. The two have a slow build kind of thing going. Tawk has his own history related to those the Wreck's crew but he wants to show everyone he is different now. This book was a fantastic read. I absolutely love T.S. Joyce's books. I can't recommend her enough.

I love the characters and their stories in this series. This one centered around Tawk and Tammy. Tawk's dragon feeds from a witch's power. It's duty is also to protect the witch. Tammy is friends with the Crew and there's an immediate attraction between her and Tawk when they meet Something bad happens that almost puts an end to their relationship. A cool romance for the Sentry
This is a sweet story with a meet cute for the romance. The author wrote another great story I wished it was longer. There is a sentry dragon named Tawk that comes to town. Tawk has a whole backstory with Jess and Kade that is revealed in this book. What surprised Tawk was the cute bartender named Tammy. She was easy to talk to and fun to be around. The Cold Foot crew adopted Tammy, even though she is a human. Tawk did not understand why but he was drawn to Tammy. There story starts there and there is a happy ending. Read On!

Easy read that just didn’t have a spark or click for me.
No real connection, though I loved Tawk and Tammy together.
Loved Tawk and felt sorry for how he perceived himself. He wasn’t as unemotional as he believed, he just hadn’t had the chance to interact with decent people.
Terrible what Jess did to him, what a betrayal.
Glad Tawk was able to tell her off and explain exactly why her actions were unacceptable.
Tammy was likeable if a bit boring.
Do want to read Dylan’s book and learn about Garret’s past.

Very good book
I love Tawk and Tammy as a couple. Him being a sentry dragon makes him a bit awkward and not know how to socialize. She’s starting new after her divorce. Their initial conversations were confusing to them and awkward but you can still see the interest and attraction brewing there. They have some very sweet moments and I loved every one of their interactions. This is not heavy on action but a definite romance book showcasing their relationship.
I recommend this book and definitely this entire series. Probably the best series yet from this author.

Another off the charts read! T.S. Joyce's books always leave you hungry for more! More stories, more magic, more more more! Each books leaves you hungry for the next one!
Tawk being a Sentry Dragon was mind blowing, but I loved the way T made us fall in love with him!
If you've never read these, I recommend you start at the beginning with her Saw Bears, because you won't be able to put down this huge series for long!

1010 hits again, and The Senty did not disappoint!
Keep forgetting this is hometown goodness cause my toxic was showing 🫣. I was ready for Tawk and Tammy to dip off into the sunset with Dylan and start their own crew.
Jess got off easy! At least Cash was holding her accountable. Tammy gave in too easy after practically witnessing her man practically being magically raped...

Bake sale!
This book looks at Tawk and his life picking up the pieces of the Sister's Edge fallout. Let me say the story is deep and funny all wrapped up in a vanilla cupcake. Visiting old characters and meeting Tammy Ray bring us a rich and action pack love story. The bake sale scene had me laughing and saying "she got me again" that would be Joyce. Five star read guys and a must read. Peace out.

Tawk and Tammy love story was fun emotional story to read. You just never know what lays ahead if your stuck in the rut of the past. To learning that you never to old to go to school and learn. Jess needed to understand that using people and her powers for bad will make her lose herself worth with every one.😎😎😃😃

This one feels like a book of lost souls, ones who find each other, but it's hard for them to accept that the other person really wants them and they deserve the happiness they are finding. You really want them all to believe, but it takes all of the book before that happens and for one, it doesn't, but at least there is a friendship there to have an anchor.

This story really got to me…there is one part that really had me tearing up both sad and happy tear. It’s very emotionally real. Tawk is so lost and so empty inside until Tammy! They’re so perfect for one another even though they are both scared and unsure if that could be together. Such a great Addison to this series! Another amazing story.

Pretty sure this is one of my new favs!
Love the relationship between Tawk and Tammy. They are 2 broken people trying to figure out this thing called life. They heal each other without really trying and it feels so natural and magical. They are like magnets to one another and I just love it.
And I'm so freaking excited for the next story to be Dylan!

Sentry Dragon
This was just okay for me. Tawk had a very lonely story and it made you root for him. Tammy was a good match for him. I felt there needed to be more closure in reference to Connor, Samuel & Misty. Cash is definitely one of my favorites and then Dylan. I hope Dylan's story is next.

I truly love these books, this one is slightly darker than the others as there is an element of betrayal. T.S. Joyce writes great characters that you will love, flaws and all. They are awkward, sometimes over the top and often annoying, I'm talking to you Cash. These are my feel good books and this one is no exception. I will be sorry to leave these mountains.

Tawk left his crew and drove to be around Made and Jess. At a bar Tawk meets Tammy. A divorced bartender finishing up college. When Tammy writes her number on the back of a coaster she doesn't truly know what she is doing to Tawk's dragon. The dragon is bonding to her. Can these two work it out with everything happening? Great read

Cold foot Sentry
I loved this book and the characters just keep growing and getting stronger. I will miss Wrecks mountains. I am always excited for T.S. Joyce's books, my favorite paranormal author!!!
