Matt From the moment Lily Davis appeared, I knew she was forbidden, irresistible, and my undoing, the sin I’d never stop craving. They say she betrayed us. They say she turned her back on everything we stand for. The truth? It’s not that simple. Now the lies are unravelling, and I’ll risk everything—my name, my place in the Points, my life—to claim her. She’s mine. For better or worse. And I’ll burn the world to prove it.
Lily I should hate him after what he did. I should walk away and never look back. But seeing Matt again ignites a fire I thought I’d buried—wild, relentless, impossible to control. It can’t be him. It can’t be us. But no matter how wrong it is, I crave him all the same. Every secret, every scar, every sin between us only fuels the need to make him kneel. To beg. To worship. To earn me back. He broke me once. Now it’s my turn to make him prove he’s worthy.
It Can’t Be You is the fourth book in the Four Points Mafia series. Each book is a standalone with its own HEA, but you’ll enjoy a richer experience reading them in order.
This spicy dark mafia romance features a second chance, a plus-sized cam girl, and her stepbrother. It contains scenes of violence and explicit sexual content.
Shannon Jade is an indie romance author and a lover of all things dark and twisted. She resides in Northern Ireland, is a full time cat mum and when she's not writing she can often be found with her Kindle in hand or travelling the world.
If you are looking for a dark romance with forbidden love, a plus size FMC and where he crawls to her, then this is the book for you. It Can't be You by Shannon Jade is book 4 in the Four points Mafia series; This is an Interconnected standalone series, you don't need to the others before this but is recommended to get the full understanding. Firstly, I would like to thank the Author Shannon Jade and Luna Literary for giving me this ARC. Importantly, this book contain some very triggering content, so please check the trigger warnings.
The plot was really good, I loved how I have not read the other books but could jump straight in and not be confused. The romance, the plot and the tropes worked really well together and added to the story. I loved the found family with Lilly and her friends, as they would all die for each other; I loved the scene where they confront Matt about what (or what he) Hasn't done. I did fine that certain scenes were dragged out and started to make me disinterested at certain parts, which is where I feel it could of been shortened. I do recommend if you are fine with long romance books.
Matt and Lilly relationship was written really well, showing that sometime doing nothing and saying nothing can have an bigger effect on a person. I do have to say I loved the scenes where she was in control and made him beg for it. There were so many times in the story where I wished Matt had spoken up or tried to help her but did the opposite. Matt has shown at lot of character growth in this book where he realised what and where he went wrong. Seeing him learn and try to repair what he broke, had me shocked. Lilly , was my favourite character form everything she went through she remained strong and true to herself through out the whole book. I do have to say that making him spend his money is completely worth it, If he breaks your heart break his bank.
I dont quite have the words to properly review this book but I am gonna tryyyy because Matt and Lily were pure perfection!
This is the 4th book in the Four Points Mafia series and it was my absolute favourite. Matt has been obsessed and in love with his stepsister Lily for as long as he can remember but their secret relationship was torn apart a year ago by lies, secrets and betrayals. He did nothing to stand up for her and she was cast out by the only family shed ever known.
Now the lies are unraveling and Matt is willing to risk everything to claim her back. But Lily who has been building a new life for herself isn't making it easy. He broke her and now it's her turn to make him prove he's worthy.
The drama vs plot vs spice ratio in this book was absolute perfection. It made me feel so many emotions, like I laughed, cried and was frustrated but mostly I was just rooting for them. Their love and connection was something everyone around them could see and feel and after years of pain, they worked so hard for the HEA they deserved.
And who doesn't love it when a man CR@WLS TO HIS WOM@N?! The gr0velling and chemistry was incredible and they were truly meant to be. Shannon wrapped up the overarching series narrative perfectly, with twists and turns that still managed to shock me.
"Because no matter how many oceans or lies or secrets lie between us, Lily is still the only thing in this world I’ve ever truly wanted. And I don’t know how much longer I can keep pretending I don’t already belong to her."
Casted away by the only family she has ever known and by the man who she has ever loved, Lily is building a life she wants to be proud of. School, working as one of the top cam girls and friends she thinks she can rely on. But it's always in the silence when her mind wanders to the man who broke her heart, repeatedly. Matt has been obsessed and in love with his step-sister Lily for as long as he can remember. Their secret relationship was never meant to last. Then one year ago lies, secrets and betrayals drove them apart and he did nothing to stand up for her. Every day the lies and secrets don't seem to hold water but you don't go against the Four Points judgement call. Staying away from Lily is doing more harm than good these days.. especially when they find out the truth about her and the drama her mother was a part of.
Do you know what I love about this book? The drama vs plot vs spicy ratio was perfect. It also made me feel so many damn emotions. I laughed and cried.. I was angry and frustrated.. but mostly I was rooting for these two. It was very apparent that their love and connection was something everyone around them could see and feel. For years Matt and Lily worked really fucking hard for the HEA they got and they deserved it. Also... who doesn't love it when a man CRAWLS TO HIS WOMAN!?
Irish Mafia, Step-siblings, Groveling, Cam girl, Curvy FMC, He crawls to her, 1st person POV, Dual
This is definitely a messy, intense second-chance romance where the emotions are doing the most at all times. Matt and Lily have a lot of history, and you feel that immediately. There is so much tension between them, and it is very much a mix of resentment, attraction, and unresolved feelings. Lily was the highlight for me. She is angry, guarded, and not quick to forgive, which makes sense given everything. I liked that she holds her ground and makes Matt work for it. Matt leans very intense and possessive, which fits the tone, but will definitely depend on your taste. The dynamic between them is not soft or easy, it is very much built on power, control, and emotional push and pull. The pacing is quick, and there is a lot happening, but I did wish some of the emotional development had more space, especially with how heavy their past is. Overall, a dark, dramatic read with strong second-chance energy and a focus on messy, complicated relationships.
Oh where to even begin with this magnificent story. I had the absolute privilege of beta reading for Shannon and I continue to be delighted that she allowed me to (I forced her). Matt and Lily are, honestly, the couple we've all been waiting for and they did not disappoint. There was so much angst, regret, longing, spice, heart, and warmth. The chemistry was incredible and they were truly meant to be. Shannon wrapped up the narrative arc that has spanned all four books, and there were twists and turns a plenty. It was such a satisfying end to the story, and seeing all the characters getting their HEA was lovely. Shannon has truly found her author voice, and I'm so excited for everything that is to come.
I had the pleasure of receiving this as an e-ARC and voluntarily will be giving my honest review. I absolutely loved this book! It was filled with drama, plot, and spice!! The chemistry these two had just wow!! This is a mafia, second chance romance that will keep you wanting more!! Great story that I absolutely devoured!

I enjoyed reading this beautiful spicy mafia romance so much. Lily is a cam girl, and loved that she was also plus sized. She and her stepbrother Matt are made for each other. When Lily is cast out from the family, I loved how Matt still kept tabs and helped support her. They fought hard to get their HEA. This is definitely a wonderful story that I would recommend.
Lily and Matt were everything. Absolutely loved this. This was an amazing way to end this series. They finally get their HEA after evenings they’ve gone through. This was messy and chaotic, sweet and spicy. I devoured this.
I don't think I have the words to properly review this book!!
I will say that this is my favorite book thus far in the Four Points Mafia series. Matt and Lily were CHEFS KISS PERFECTION.
As someone who majored in fashion design, I was blown away by the accuracies in Lily's classes and her work on her garments! Shannon did such an amazing job really nailing that.
I thought by this point in the series I had a good handle on what was going on, but Shannon managed to shock me a few times still!! Such a clever story line with so many surprises along the way.
I really loved this book and what we saw from all of the characters (including those we'd met in earlier books). This was one of my favorite books I read in January and I will definitely be rereading this one!
I will admit, this one took me a bit longer to read, but it didn’t make that big of an issue of my enjoyment of this book. This is book four in a standalone series and it’s about Matt and Lily, who just so happened to be step siblings. Yeah, that’s right, taboo style romance. Just to make it clear, Matt and Lily didn’t grow up together, so the sibling relationship really didn’t get established between them. They don’t see each other as siblings and obviously they don’t share the same blood. I just wanted to make that clear.
We see the rollercoaster ride of a relationship Matt and Lily have all the while issues are happening in the Four Points mafia. Lily was kicked out of the “family” because of what her mother was connected to, and it was assumed by some emails that Lily could also have been involved. She and Matt had a not so secret relationship until she got exiled. And what hurt Lily the most was that Matt never defended her. So now, she runs an adult cam account, wearing a mask as she earns a living by giving her viewers a fantasy. But the thing is, Matt is also watching, also donating and also requesting private viewings, and Lily knows this.
Spice wise, there is a good bit going on. You see the sexual tension and relationship between Matt and Lily from when it first started until the end, even the camming moments between them and how Matt was the one that helped her set up her camming account in support.
Storywise, it was interesting. I enjoyed seeing Lily and her connections with those at the Four Points who still loved her and backed her up, giving that found family vibe all the way. Also, we got to see how hard it was for Lily to deal with the heartbreak Matt caused her. And the struggle Matt had with her so far from him.
Now the reason WHY I am giving this a three star is because some scenes got dragged out. Don’t get me wrong, I had fun reading this. But there were points where I had to put the book down because it felt like parts were just being done on repeat. I get the author wanted for us to really understand the struggles happening between the characters, but speaking honestly, it got to the point where I was asking when were we moving on with the storyline. But other than that, I loved the growth Matt had when he realized the truth and the fact he did his all to prove to Lily that not only did he love her, but wanted her forgiveness. And I adored the strength Lily had. Because she lost her family, was left in exile, yet she found her way to survive AND thrive. We see the pain she feels but we also see her find her own way and stand her ground, even making Matt suffer and beg a bit.
This isn’t just second chance romance. This is second chance with teeth. With claws. With unresolved tension that practically vibrates off the page.
Matt and Lily??? Absolutely feral.
From the very first interaction you can feel it—this isn’t soft longing. This is obsession wrapped in hurt, history, and unfinished business. The kind of connection that never really died, it just sat there… simmering… waiting to explode.
And when it does?? Yeah. Good luck putting this book down.
Lily is EVERYTHING. She’s strong, guarded, unapologetic, and refuses to be the same girl he broke. Watching her demand more, expect more, and make Matt WORK for every inch of her attention?? I was cheering. Loudly. Possibly unwell about it.
And Matt… oh this man is down BAD.
The possessiveness. The regret. The “I will burn everything to fix what I broke” energy?? Off the charts. He doesn’t just want her back, he needs it, and watching him unravel piece by piece trying to earn her again was painfully satisfying.
What really hit though is the emotional depth under all the intensity. The betrayal, the rumors, the lies… nothing is simple here. Every feeling is tangled up with something else, and it makes their connection feel messy and real and impossible to ignore.
And the dynamic between them?? Power shifts everywhere. Lily isn’t just falling back into his arms—she’s making him kneel, metaphorically and emotionally, and I LOVED that balance. It’s not about forgetting the past, it’s about forcing him to face it.
The Four Points world adds this gritty, dangerous edge too. There’s always this sense that something bigger is at play, that their relationship isn’t just complicated emotionally, but risky in every possible way.
By the end I was exhausted in the best way. Heart full, nerves shot, completely obsessed.
If you want: ✔️ second chance with serious bite ✔️ a heroine who knows her worth and demands it ✔️ a man willing to destroy himself to earn her back ✔️ tension that feels like it might combust at any second
This book doesn’t just pull you in… it grabs you by the throat and says “feel everything.” And trust me—you will.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It Can’t Be You by Shannon Jade absolutely wrecked me in the best possible way. This book is intense, emotional, messy, and completely addictive from start to finish.
Matt and Lily’s story is not your typical second chance romance. It is layered with pain, betrayal, longing, and a connection that refuses to die no matter how hard they try to fight it. From the very first chapter, you can feel the tension between them. It is heavy, complicated, and so charged with history that every interaction feels like it could either heal them or destroy them all over again.
What really stood out to me was how raw their relationship felt. There is nothing simple about their past or their present. The secrets, the hurt, and the misunderstandings all build into something that feels incredibly real. Lily is strong, guarded, and unapologetically herself, and I loved watching her hold her ground and demand more. Matt, on the other hand, is intense, obsessive, and willing to burn everything down for her, which made every moment between them feel heightened and emotional.
The chemistry between them is undeniable. It is not just physical, it is emotional, psychological, and deeply rooted in everything they have been through together. You can feel how much they crave each other even when they know they probably should not. That push and pull kept me completely hooked.
I also loved how this story gave depth to both characters beyond the romance. Lily’s journey, especially, felt empowering. She is not just someone being fought over. She owns her story, her choices, and her power, and that made her such a compelling main character.
The world of the Four Points Mafia adds another layer of danger and tension that raises the stakes even higher. Every decision feels risky, every moment feels like it could change everything, and it kept me on edge the entire time.
This book is dark, spicy, emotional, and full of angst in all the right ways. If you love second chance romance with high stakes, morally gray characters, and a love story that feels a little dangerous but completely consuming, this one will absolutely pull you in.
I received this as an ARC and am really grateful for it!
The first 200 pages, I devoured. After that? I feel like it fell a bit flat for me. The plot didn't progress as much as it should have, especially by the 400 page mark. The book is over 600 pages long, yet the plot that was written, could've fit into less. That being said, I really liked the plot concept. I enjoyed it when it was there. I wish there were more details about the trafficking ring, the brutality of it etc.
The spice in this was really well written for me, and I did enjoy it to an extent. It did get a little repetitive though.
I loved how the MMC empowered, strengthened and uplifted our FMC in everything she wanted to do. He was never against her being a cam girl, he supported it most. He helped her and even joined in. He was a little unhinged. A little overbearing (in the dark romance kind of way that we all love and crave). He wasn't afraid to bow down to her either.
I loved how confident and comfortable our FMC was with her sexuality, her body and her forwardness. I love how she made him work for it despite how much she craved him and wanted to give in. I also appreciated the fact that despite her mother trying to groom her into the 'perfect' woman, she didnt change herself. She saw her worth thanks to the MMC.
I especially LOVED the yearning, the tension and him GROVELLING. I thrive on a good grovelling scene, and this had multiple!
Despite all of this, I know the MCs loved eachother BUT, I craved more depth and complexity into their indivuality and them as a unit/couple. It fell a bit flat there for me too.
Tropes include- - crawl to me (MMC is the one crawling 🥵) - cam girl - forbidden and taboo -mafia -stalker/surveillance -grovelling And more!
Thank you to Luna Literary and Shannon Jade for the ARC of It Can’t be you.
This one follows Matt and Lily, and straight away it has that messy, forbidden, “this is a terrible idea but also absolutely happening” kind of energy. Lily coming back into Matt’s life brings up so much history between them, and I loved that it wasn’t just about the attraction. There was hurt there, confusion, anger, old feelings, and all the things they both never properly dealt with.
Lily was easy to feel for. She has been judged, underestimated and made to feel like she has to explain herself, but she still has this strength to her. I really liked that she was plus-size too, and that it wasn’t written like something/someone that needed to be fixed. She was sexy, confident at times, insecure at others, and just felt like an actual person, because we all feel like that. Matt was gone for this woman. The man did not stand a chance. He had that possessive mafia MMC thing going on, but there was also a softer side to him with Lily that made their connection feel more emotional. Their dynamic had tension, history, heat, and that little bit of heartbreak that makes second chance romance hurt in the best way. The mafia side added danger and drama, but for me the relationship between Matt and Lily was the main thing. It was emotional, spicy, forbidden, and messy in a way that made sense for them and the story.
Overall, this was a really solid finish to the series. If you like dark mafia romance, second chance, stepbrother vibes, plus size FMCs, and an MMC who is completely obsessed, this is definitely one to add to your TBR. Please check trigger warnings before reading.
Forgive and forget, but not without a little groveling
Lilly & Matt
At 600+ pages I was kind of worried, with everything going on in my life right now, about reading such a hefty book. BUT my oh my how I was soooo wrong and boy did time fly reading this book. I literally finished It Can't Be You by Shannon Jade in one sitting. I started it at 6 pm thinking I'll set it down at about 11 pm and start again the next day. Yeah , um that didn't happen I read it through the night without putting it down. I just couldn't do it, it's that good. Captivating, lots of top tier spice, plot twist I did not see coming and so much more. I was on the edge of my seat all night.
I just love Lilly, to go through what she went through and to come out the other side stronger than before, fierce, and independent is awe inspiring. Matt is just wow, one minute you want to smack him into next week and the next you're going feral for him. And the groveling, yes there is much deserved groveling, by Matt is so epic. I need to take lessons from Lilly on how to get my man to grovel like Matt. The way he wants to burn the world down for her, so very hot 🥵.
This is my first book by Shannon Jade and I've already purchased the three previous books, It Can't Be You is book 4, in the Four Points Mafia Series. I'll be reading them soon and happily re-reading It Can't Be You again.
This book has: Italian Mafia Irish (clan) Mafia Fierce, kind, independent, sassy FMC Strong, protective, obsessive MMC Stepbrother-Stepsister Family Abandonment Lots of spice, right from the start Lite BDSM Groveling by MMC Stalking Major Plot Twist Kidnapping Arranged Marriage
The praise hits harder than it should. The camera fades from awareness, the rest of the world slipping away until it’s just us-his voice, my heartbeat, and the unspoken promise hanging between us, sharp enough to burn. ▬▬▬▬★★★★▬▬▬▬

ARC Review! Special thanks to the author Shannon Jade and Luna Literary for the opportunity to arc read this book.
Please read trigger warnings as this book does contain triggering content.
This is a second-chance romance where the drama and emotions are flying high. If you have not read the first three books in the Four Points Mafia series, it is okay! The author does an amazing job of giving enough details to understand the series without having read all the books. This book had everything going for it: plot, drama, spice, etc. Lily and Matt have had chemistry building up for several years. It shows how they were there for each other throughout everything, up until an incident that leaves Lily cast out from the only family she has known. She is deeply betrayed by Matt's actions, but he never stopped loving and caring for her. While on her own, Lily becomes this badass camgirl/ fashion student and is thriving! She is not only perfected her craft in fashion, but also learning what empowers her as a woman and loves her body for it. Matt, on the other hand, is hiding behind a username to be able to see and support his girl. While in the shadows, he is searching for any possible way to clear Lily's name to be able to bring her home. In the midst of everything, the friendship and family that Lily develops with her girls is heartwarming, and it is admirable to see how Matt is developing a backbone to not only stand up for himself but also for Lily.
Overall, I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to anyone looking for a suspenseful Mafia romance.
It Can’t Be You by Shannon Jade, provided via Luna Literacy Management, is a dark mafia romance that combines forbidden love, emotional tension, and strong found family dynamics into an engaging interconnected standalone.
The story follows Lily and Matt, whose relationship develops amidst emotional conflict, misunderstandings, and the complications surrounding the world they are both connected to.
One of the strongest aspects of the story is the emotional tension between the characters and the way the relationship develops despite the misconceptions surrounding Matt. Watching the characters confront those misunderstandings helps deepen the emotional progression throughout the book.
The found family element also stands out strongly within the story, especially through Lily’s friendships. One particularly memorable scene involves Lily and her friends confronting Matt, which highlights how protective and supportive the group is toward one another. The loyalty and “girls girl” energy within the friendships adds warmth and emotional depth to the story.
Even though this is the fourth book within an interconnected series, the story still works well independently. The worldbuilding and relationships are developed in a way that allows readers to understand and enjoy the story without feeling lost if they have not read the earlier books.
Overall, It Can’t Be You is an emotionally engaging mafia romance filled with tension, loyalty, found family dynamics, and a compelling forbidden relationship.
I absolutely ate this shit up!!! It Can’t Be You is the fourth and final book in the series. It is best read in order as there are overarching plot points. It can be read as a standalone, there just may be some historical events discussed that you do not know about. Lily and Matt are step siblings who were previously in a secret romantic relationship. At the start of this book, they are estranged as Lily has been cast out of the family and exiled. Despite believing that Lily has betrayed him, Matt is still in love with her and obsessively monitors her to ensure her safety. At the same time that this is going on, Matt has been arranged to marry the daughter of an Italian mafia don and moves to Italy. Lily is a cam girl who knows that Matt has been stalking her cam lives and he often requests private sessions. Matt has a lot of trauma that he needs to work through. He has watched his dad be betrayed by the women he loves and Matt did not want to be portrayed as weak. I love a fierce FMC and love that Lily stands up for herself and demands what she needs from Matt. I love the scene when Matt crawled to her and eventually abandons his familial duty in order to prove to Lily that he loves her and will make her his priority.
This book is perfect for anyone who loves dark romance with intricate plot, abundant spice, step siblings, and a fierce FMC.
If you love dark mafia romance with tension, loyalty, and emotionally messy characters, It Can’t Be You delivers exactly that vibe.
This book follows Matt and Lily, and from the start, you can feel the weight of everything they’ve been through—both individually and within the larger Four Points world. There’s a strong emotional undercurrent here, mixed with danger, secrets, and that signature “touch her and you’re done” energy.
What I loved most was the dynamic between the characters. Their connection isn’t simple or easy—it’s layered, intense, and built on more than just attraction. You really feel the push and pull, especially with everything happening around them in the mafia world.
The found family aspect continues to be one of my favorite parts of this series. Seeing familiar faces and how their stories intertwine adds so much depth and makes the stakes feel higher.
That said, at times I did wish for a bit more development in certain moments. Some parts felt like they moved quickly when I wanted to sit in the tension just a little longer.
Overall, this was a solid addition to the series—dark, emotional, and addictive. If you’ve been following the Four Points Mafia series, this is definitely one you’ll want to pick up.
Alright Besties… "It Can't Be You" came in HOT right from chapter one and did not even try to play nice. 🔥 The chemistry between Lily and Matt? Immediate chaos. Forbidden, messy, and dripping with tension that had me side-eyeing my Kindle like, “oh we’re really doing this today?”😒
The spice is definitely spicing, but what really got me was the emotional warfare. The pining? Absolutely brutal. These two are out here yearning like it’s an Olympic sport, and I was suffering right along with them. The push and pull, the angst, the history... it’s heavy, intense, and you feel every ounce of it.
That said… I’m not even gonna lie to you... this book could’ve been tighter. There’s a LOT of backstory and timeline jumping, and at times it felt repetitive. I caught myself skim-reading in spots because we were circling the same emotional ground. Still, when it hits? It hits.
This was my first time reading Shannon Jade, and even jumping in at book four, I didn’t feel lost... which is a win. But now I’m definitely curious about the earlier books because this world has me hooked.👍🏼
If you love dark, spicy, second-chance chaos with obsessive energy… yeah, you need this.😉
My Ratings: ⭐ 4/5 ▪︎ 🥵 4/5
🥀 My ratings and review are my own. For my rating scale breakdown, head over to my Goodreads &/or Amazon profile! 🖤
Book 4 of the Four Points - book follows Lily and Matt.. while this book can be read as a standalone it is an interconnected series. The only complaint is one against myself, because yes it can be read as a standalone but I really wish I would have read 1-3 first
Lily Davis is a plus size camgirl who is also studying to become a fashion designer; after being banished from her home after the Four Points accused her of being involved in something seriously seedy; and Matt O’Malley her protective step-brother - the pair had started a secret relationship and when the you know what hit the fan he stood by and said nothing - like actually NOTHING!!
While she has been making new friends and growing her cam-site, Matt hasn’t been able to stay away. Now with an upcoming contract he must make good on; he decided it’s now or never and he refuses to live without her. This is a taboo book, and boy does she make him pay. It’s spicy - I honestly stopped keeping track, but the spice doesn’t take away from the plot and really adds to it. Do yourself a favor if you like dark mafia romance books pick up book 1 so you can get the full experience; but if you just want the tension and the crawling now jump right in
Tropes- step siblings, he crawls, cam girl fmc, second chance, mafia romance, yearning and angst

“We made it. not perfect, not unscarred. But together. for the first time, the future doesn't feel like something I'm chasing between London investors, half-finished sketches, and stolen momento et doesnt feel like a risk or a compromise. It feels reel and tangible in a way f cant wait to explore.”
YES YES YES MY BABIES ARE FINALLY HERE, I've been waiting for Lily and Matt book since the beginning they intrigued me so bad. This book was definitely a lot of emotions but ofc it was cause this series be putting me through the the wringer. Lily and Matt were just amazing and everything their chemistry, banter, angst and yearning and this book was divine. The found family in this book was also amazing even though there were lot of conflict that was happening because they think lily's a traitor. I love me a good taboo romance and this was definitely no different especially the sneaking around. I love both characters so much and lily means the world to me l relate to her real bad. I'm so happy they get to be together after everything they've been through
“I look at her, and all can think of is how fucking cruel it is that the one person who makes me feel like there's still something good left in me... is the one person I'm not allowed to have.”
Thank You So Much for giving me this incredible arc !💐🖤
I was luck enough to get an ARC of this book so thank you Shannon Jade for giving me the oportuinity to read it.
Overall i thought that this book was well written, i think that Shannon Jade is really easy to read and the characters were good. I think that it could have been a little more deep and could have gone into more details about somethings and others didn't need as much.

This is the fourth book in the series, but can be read as a standalone. You will appreciate and understand all the characters more if you have read the other books.
Lily is cast out of the mafia world for allegedly betraying the families, and she is forced to leave all her friends and what remains of her family. If that is not painful enough, the man she loves, Matt, does nothing to defend her. This story follows Lily and Matt's story and how they work through the devastation of lies and re-building their trust in one another. While he did not defend her, Matt does not stop looking into what happened and is desperate to prove she is trustworthy. He may even help support her secret cam girl career by being an avid customer. Oh, and because this is mafia, Matt has a pending marriage contract to somebody else, because loving your step sister is even a step to far for the mafia. ;)

I DEVOURED this book. I love mafia romances and they are my favorite to read. This is a delicious second chance spicy dark romance that features a camgirl and her stepbrother. Trying to fight the connection that these two have is impossible. The yearning was everything🤤. I enjoyed every aspect of this book regarding that. Matt would burn the world down for her without a second glance. His devotion to proving his second chance is worth it was endearing and very spicy. This book is packed with heavy emotions and is dark, dramatic, and messy. They MCs have a very chaotic push and pull relationship. I LOVED it. It was a very fast paced read with a lot happening and tensions were high. I just loved this couple! Perfection!
I would like to thank Luna Literary and Shannon Jade for this opportunity. 🙏🏻
First I will say I received this book as an ARC from the author ✍️ If I could give this book 10 ⭐️ I totally would. This was the first book by Shannan Jade that I have read and it will NOT be the last. 5 🌶️ for spice, cause let’s face it I’m a sucker for taboo, forbidden, mafia romances. Lily & Matt are step siblings that are VERY familiar with each other. There’s misplaced information that leads to the Four Points believing that Lily was in cahoots with her mother on the ultimate betrayal. When he finally comes to his senses he quite literally crawls to her! Begging, yearning, worshipping Lily like it’s his sole purpose in life. The twist when she gets taken is the ultimate “I’ll burn the world to get to you”. I can go on and on with this book as it had me hooked from the start!
This book has anything a spicy reader would want.

ARC REVIEW: First things first, yes this book is thick. But to tell the story the author is telling, and to do it justice, it needed to be. We've got dual points of view and dual timelines here! You need the backstory and instead of telling the reader about the MCs' pasts, the author shows you; bringing you into this world of The Four Points Mafia and setting the stage for an epic romance. However lengthy it is, it never gets boring. I didn't want to skip over anything because the pictures the author paints with words are cinematic. This story is a beautiful one of forbidden love, family betrayal, finding one's own inner strength, forgiveness, and abandoning pride to gain true love. I adored it so much that for the first time, I'm giving you TWO pages of quotes!!! I couldn't narrow it down. Find a weekend to read this with nobody to bother you - you won't want to put it down.

As the final instalment of the Four Points Series this book couldn’t have been more perfect! I’m honoured to have been able to be here from the start as an ARC reader for Shannon and in true Mafia style, once I was in, I wasn’t getting out they just dug that hook deeper and deeper with each book and I’m sad to leave them behind but cannot wait to see what comes next! Although written as interlinked standalones and they can be read separately, I cannot recommend highly enough how much you should read them in order. I knew from the end of the last book that this one was going to be a spicy read, the step-sibling trope can never not be! But my my my Matt and Lily are HOT! This was such an emotional rollercoaster and that final familial twist was a left hook I didn’t see coming! The way Shannon writes fully pulls you in and you can’t not feel how the characters do. The chapters which flicked back to the past gave the story such depth and fit so seamlessly and no point do you feel lost between past and present. Cannot recommend this series enough!
