"Seven years ago, 'Plai', a new heartthrob actor, was exposed as gay. Amidst the scandalous news that came to him, the former rising star had to become a supporting actor just to survive. After enduring for many years, his chance to reclaim the spotlight has arrived. 'Battle Buddy', a popular reality show that has given birth to many imagined couples! His initial purpose was only to appear in a few episodes to gain followers. The show invited 'Kimhan', a member of a famous boy band, to join as well. Sharing a photo with a popular artist should be good for him. But there were rumors that this Kimhan was a straight guy who deeply hates gays... So, will he make it until the show ends?
it was quite a nice novel. though I felt that the lead up to their relationship dragged on slightly. the plot of the show was fun and I enjoyed the interaction on the show. the special chapters were nice as well especially with plai and his brother getting the mother to finally stand up to the father.

I was expecting more romance, it barely had anything and it was more towards the end but I'm really happy I enjoyed this novel. If it actually gets adapted by DMD soon I'm sure they will enhance the original material and it will probably turn out even better.
I feel like this has the good bones for a TV show, but as is... it's not Great. I was so underwhelmed when the leads finally got together and the ending felt so rushed and abrupt.
This was really cuteeee. I had a lot of fun and really loved the characters. I wish there was a bit of more seriousness though? Something was missing for me and I'm not quite sure what it was but I still had a great time and really liked it. Can't wait for the series 👀
I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, i truly enjoyed this novel, it was fun, charming and funny. Plai and Kimhan have nice chemistry and match each other quite well. On the other hand, the whole conflict was super obvious, i called it the moment the "homophobia" controversy was mentioned, and Plai and Kimhan's relationship had absolutely no conflict at all. I don't think the couple always needs to break up or something, but i feel like a more serious plot line can be beneficial to set up a stronger long term relationship.
This novel will definitely work well as a series, hoping for a CopperFifa main couple (Domundi, do us proud)😝🫶
