Sigma's Holiday: Gay Wolf Shifter Christmas Romance

Rate this book
A brother I never knew. A town I wasn’t ready for. And a Christmas love that could ruin everything.

I wasn’t supposed to be in Marquette.

But after my mother died, I found a box of letters in her attic—dozens of them, all from the same man. Dave. My biological father. Turns out my mom had a whole secret life before me, complete with pack politics, scandal, and a lover she left before she gave birth to me. And now I find out I’ve got a half-brother named Chance and a town full of shifters who see me as an outsider.

Then I met Danny.

He runs a local Christmas tree lot and smells like pine, earth, and cinnamon coffee. He’s kind in a way I’ve never known, rough around the edges, and fiercely loyal to the land he calls home. I didn’t mean to fall for him. I just wanted to find some connection, to understand where I came from. But the closer we get, the harder it is to ignore the truth.

Because I’m not just here to meet my family.

I work for a strip mining company. And when I tested one of Danny’s Christmas trees to confirm what the reports said... I found exactly what I feared. The soil under his lot is rich with copper. My company wants it all. And Danny's tree lot is on the brink of foreclosure.

Now I have a choice. Either I tell him who I am and break his heart… or stay quiet and betray everything that’s starting to feel like home.

Sigma's Holiday is a heartwarming, spicy gay werewolf holiday romance about found family, forbidden truths, and the kind of love that only comes once—and changes everything when it does.

This book is technically a werewolf book. But if you’re looking for any werewolfing you will be disappointed. THAT BEING SAID if you wanted a gay Christmas hallmark movie with two werewolf’s then this is your book.

I love Blake R. Wolfe's universe, especially this series. It's a pleasure to reconnect with the Tellurian pack.
I like Cody's awkwardness; he's endearing, and his loneliness is deeply touching. He lost his mother and doesn't even belong to a real “pack” to support him, like a family. He's a little clumsy in his relationships with the other wolves, clearly unaccustomed to living in a community. He's desperate to find a family, a place to call home.
I like Danny's sincerity; he is a deeply honest character who does not shy away from discovering the bond that unites him with Cody. I like how he opens up very naturally to Cody, confiding in him without shame about the difficulties of the farm.
A lovely Christmas story, a tender romance, disrupted by the awkwardness of the protagonists and sweet family moments.

Tales of the Tellurian Pack: “Sigma’s Holiday” is the fifth book in a captivating series that intertwines love and adventure. The story follows Cody Warren, a geological surveyor and a lone alpha werewolf from New York, who embarks on a journey to Marquette, Michigan. This journey not only leads him to discover a family he never knew existed but also brings him face-to-face with powerful emotions during the holiday season.

As the plot unfolds, you are treated to a whirlwind of emotions—Cody falls in love and faces conflicts that threaten to unravel everything he has built. The setting around the Christmas holiday amplifies the stakes, bringing warmth and angst together in a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The emotional rollercoaster ride is relentless, revealing the depths of love and the struggles that come with it.

One of the highlights of ‘Sigma’s Holiday’ is its vibrant cast of characters in Marquette. The town is depicted as a haven for werewolves, populated by individuals whose stories are intriguing and resonate. Their interactions with Cody add layers of complexity to the narrative, making the tale even more engaging.

I enjoyed reading and feeling the instant connection between Cody and Danny grow from the initial spark to a sweet, emotional, intense, passionate, and loving relationship that leads to a wonderful HEA.
Even though this book is told from Cody's POV, you don't feel as if you're missing anything, especially in regards to Danny and his situation or feelings. The book focused more on Cody discovering his biological relations and the found family aspect of the pack accepting him, as well as finding his love, and less on the possible consequences and conflicts of Cody's job.
Overall, this is an enjoyable story with very likeable and well developed characters, and has an engaging storyline that keeps you invested. I would definitely recommed it.

I received an ARC, this is my honest and unbiased review.

I enjoyed this Christmas story. Cody is a bit awkward, but in a way I enjoyed it. He grew on me. Loved Danny. The story and plot is wonderful. Cody is not only there because of his job, nope, he's on his own mission to find out who his father is. He finds much more than that. Emotional rollercoaster, but very sweet.
