Follow SGT, Thor and his crew as they steal their way into a mysterious city seeking the ultimate prize. Where the wrong move means death, a cunning plan may see Thor survive the ultimate edge.
First no spoilers, okay maybe one. Jason and Nick, please do not let this the last Thor. He is wonderful and his adventures are a true gift. This story had it all, had depth, adventure, tension and solid conclusion. No I am both happy and a little sad about. ( If you have been reading along you will understand and realize it had to happen this way.) Jason and Nick please, please keep playing in the sand box, that is SGT Thor in the RUIN!
I'm really getting into this series and this character. I love Forgotten Ruin as an old Army Ranger, but I can see how it can be a hard read with all the Talker quirks. SGT. Thor takes the best elements of the series and eliminates much of the silliness. Do not get me wrong, I think the Talker character has an element of truth, to my time at least, in the Regiment in the early 90's, which is why I still like it.
I'm going to miss the main characters & hope they come up again. This was such a fantastically amazing journey by one man, who happened to be an Army Ranger...
No spoilers or Id write more. You've got to read this book & series! And all another great time given by the authors! Thank you Jason & Nick!
A dream or a nightmare. Thor lives up to his namesake. Action from start to finish. What i was left with is what happens when what do you saxrifice for your goal, your dream. And what if the price is almost a nightmare.
