Though they once lived in secret, “monsters” have inhabited the earth as long as humans have walked the earth. As technology advanced by leaps and bounds, the ability to remain hidden dwindled. Earth’s non-human creatures faced a allow themselves to be discovered, or step forward and introduce themselves. Either option could have ended badly for monsters and humans alike—and in some places, it did.

But not in Harmony Glen.

After The Great Revelation, Harmony Glen welcomed monsters with open arms. This small town in Upstate New York is now home to humans and non-humans! Integration has been so successful in Harmony Glen, the town even changed its motto to “Come for the harmony, stay for the happily ever after.”

A.C Ruttan started writing at a very young age. Life and responsibility got in the way and writing was put on hold. It wasn't until the birth of her second child and spending countless hours in a NICU she realized that life is precious and it shouldn't be wasted.

Now years later --and a healthy baby later--A.C. has realized her dreams. She was first published in 2007 under her alter ego Amy Ruttan, and she hasn't looked back.

I loved how these two shouldn’t have worked, but they kept coming back to each other. Like, they were great until they met, then it all fell apart. Then on their second meeting, still not good, but the more they were around each other, the more they remembered what they liked about the other. She has some secrets, and that adds another layer of worry. They make it all work out in the end, and get the HEA that was a bit delayed, but worth the wait <3
