Sabrina Chopin has a new mantra, new year, new me.
After a loveless marriage that chipped away at her confidence, Sabrina is ready to rediscover what she loves about herself, starting with her passion for theatre. When she joins a community theatre production of a brand-new play, she’s stunned to find Garrett Vaughn, the brooding director and a man who gets under her skin in a way she’s determined to resist.
Garrett has been hurt before by people he loved, and now he’s guarded. Garrett’s secrets aren’t all his own, so he needs to walk that balance of protecting others while following his heart.
Set against the backdrop of a small-town theater bursting with found-family energy and onstage drama, Love in the Wings is a slow-burn romance full of heat, heart, and hope.
Will they finally get their cue for a love that’s been waiting in the wings?

This was a heartfelt and engaging romance about starting over after life's unexpected challenges. Sabrina is rebuilding her life following a messy divorce, and the last thing she expects is to find herself drawn to Garret. Their connection feels genuine, and I enjoyed watching them navigate their growing attraction while facing the obstacles that stand in the way of a relationship.

The characters were easy to root for, and the emotional journey kept me invested from beginning to end. The story balanced romance and personal growth well, making Sabrina's journey especially rewarding. Without giving away any spoilers, the ending was satisfying and left me with a smile. If you enjoy romances featuring second chances, emotional depth, and believable chemistry, this is definitely worth picking up.

It was a sweet little story! Who knew that Shakespeare could be used as a pick up line (honestly that was my favourite line) and never forget your damned sweatshirt if you want to ignore a certain director ;)
I liked Sabrina, she was vulnerable but in that weirdly neurotic way that most of us women are when we like another!
It wasn't a long book, but rather it was just a really good amount of a read!

I enjoyed Sabrina’s self discovery after divorce. She rediscovered her passion and in doing so found herself open up to all the possibilities, including a new man in her life. The author gave us a well balanced story and just enough surprised to keep some of the side characters interesting. If you like love after a life change this one’s a good choice!
