Accursed by Jordan Troche — ★★★★
A fast-paced story that keeps you turning the pages, but it lacks enough depth to truly connect with the characters. It has a cinematic feel — a Supernatural meets Constantine vibes — and would translate wonderfully to the screen.
That said, it could use a bit more substance to make it truly great. The story will continue and ends on a cliffhanger, with no HEA or HFN in sight.
