You know those moments in life when everything seems perfectly aligned? Yeah, this ain't that moment. I'm Dario Wallace, a reclusive mountain man on a mission to secure my family's land before some bureaucrat decides to auction it off to the highest bidder by Christmas.
Simple, right?
When the county lawyer tells me I need a wife to claim my inheritance rights, I'm desperate enough to place a classified ad for a quick and temporary mail order bride. What I get is Judith Mars, a curvy city princess who's clearly never followed an order in her life and believes she can waltz onto my mountain without submitting to my rules. The exact type of woman I typically send packing.
Judith needs a husband on paper to escape some family drama, and I need a wife to secure my land. Should be a straightforward business arrangement. But nothing about this Christmas-obsessed, infuriatingly beautiful woman is straightforward. As much as I enjoy control, there are always two areas that require my complete attention—my land and my woman. And this little wildcat is testing my patience on both fronts.
She's in for a rude awakening if she believes I’m going to let her call the shots. That, of course, would've been more convincing had I not discovered exactly how responsive she becomes under my firm guidance. I know mixing business with pleasure wasn't my smartest move, but our contract has a holiday expiration date, and nothing will change that. I’ll just have to keep her out of my playroom until then, and most definitely out of my heart.
"Christmas With The Mountain Man" is a sizzling holiday romance that proves sometimes the best gifts come wrapped in silk and submission. Perfect if you lovestories with Mountain Men, Fake bride with a twist, Grumpy/sunshine, Fake dating, Snowed-In, Forced proximity, OTT Protective alpha, Small town romance, Second Chance Romance, Touch her and die, HEA guaranteed. This book contains consensual BDSM elements, a possessive mountain man who knows what he wants, and a guaranteed happily ever after that will leave you breathless.
Both Dario and Judith need solutions to their problems. They find that a temporary arrangement might be the answer. But all that snow and a hidden room soon turn their good intentions on it's head. Very good seasonal read.

If you’re craving a holiday romance that’s equal parts snowstorm, steam, and stubborn hearts colliding, Christmas With The Dominant Mountain Man is the book you’ll want curled up beside you this winter. It’s bold. It’s spicy. And it’s surprisingly heartfelt in the way only a grumpy mountain recluse and a sunshiney city siren can be.
At the center of the storm is Dario Wallace—a broody, territorial mountain man who would rather chop firewood shirtless in a blizzard than deal with the county bureaucrats threatening his family land. His solution? A no-nonsense, purely-for-paperwork mail-order bride. No emotions. No complications. No exceptions.
Enter Judith Mars.
Judith, who shows up on the mountain in heels, attitude, and a whole lot of holiday spirit Dario absolutely did not order. Judith, who refuses to back down, shut up, or behave—yet somehow fits into Dario’s rugged world like she’s been melting the snow off his cabin steps her entire life.
Their marriage is supposed to be a contract. A business exchange. But every page proves that neither of them was prepared for what they actually signed up for.
Dario is a man who thrives on control—in his land, in his life, and definitely in the bedroom. Judith is a woman who’s never let anyone steer her path, especially not a growly mountain man who thinks “my rules” is a sufficient sentence. Their dynamic is combustible, crackling with tension, desire, and the kind of stubbornness that makes every argument feel like foreplay.
The tropes? Chef’s kiss. Fake marriage. Dominant hero. Snowed-in shenanigans. Opposites attract. A playroom with rules. Christmas magic. All woven together with a warmth that makes their banter feel as comforting as hot cocoa… with a VERY adult kick.
Deidre-Ann Anderson balances the spice with genuine emotion. Judith’s vulnerability hides beneath her sparkle; Dario’s soft spots are buried under years of isolation and responsibility. Watching them chip away at each other’s walls is both satisfying and swoon-worthy. The steam is intense, the chemistry undeniable, and the emotional payoff worth every heated moment.
This isn’t just a holiday fling wrapped in lights and leather. It’s a story about finding home in the most unexpected person, thawing frozen hearts, and discovering that love has a way of slipping under every boundary—contractual or otherwise.
By the time the HEA lands (and trust me, it lands beautifully), you’ll be rooting for them as fiercely as Dario protects his mountains.
If you want a Christmas romance that’s hot enough to melt the snow off your roof, this book is your next obsession. Bold, steamy, and wickedly charming—Christmas With The Dominant Mountain Man will wrap you up and refuse to let go.

Rules. Restraint. Redemption. This Christmas is different.
Dario doesn’t care for people, distractions, or holidays. But when a legal clause threatens the land that’s been in his family for generations, he’s left with one option: marry before Christmas. The reclusive mountain man puts out a classified ad. What he gets is Judith, sharp, city-slick, and absolutely not built for the mountain life. Or so he thinks.
Judith is running from a powerful ex and a contract that could wreck her future. A fake marriage feels like the safest path forward. But nothing about Dario is pretend. Not the intensity in his eyes, the rules in his home, or the way she responds to his control. When she stumbles into his private playroom, everything shifts. Trust, power, and heat twist into something neither of them planned for.
As snow locks them in and emotions break through, the boundaries they set start to fall apart. What started as legal survival turns into something raw, real, and impossible to fake. But when outside threats close in, it’s not just a question of staying married. It’s about whether they’ll choose each other for real.
Dario and Judith start out as strangers with walls built high. He’s all control and solitude. She’s all fire and fight. But day by day, they shift. He softens. She steadies. Together, they build something they never expected, a love forged in trust, intensity, and emotional honesty.
A steamy, grumpy sunshine, fake marriage, small town, mountain man, snowed-in Christmas romance featuring a strong heroine, intense power exchange, and a possessive Dom who learns to love. It explores dominance and submission, emotional healing, trust, community, and transformation. It’s about finding freedom in surrender, strength in connection, and choosing love again and again until something temporary becomes home.
The Elevator Pitch: A brooding mountain man and a sharp-tongued city girl agree to a fake marriage, but snowed-in temptation and a hidden playroom push their limits fast. What starts as control turns into connection, as trust and desire blur the lines they swore they'd hold. Packed with heat, heart, and holiday tension, their love takes over in all the best ways.
Dario Wallace is the quintessential disgruntled recluse: territorial, disciplined, and determined to protect his family land at all costs. He only needs a temporary wife to unlock the inheritance. No emotions, no complications, just paperwork. Or so he thinks.
Enter Judith Mars, the curvy, outspoken city girl who has Christmas spirit to spare and more backbone than Dario knows what to do with. She appears for a business arrangement, but her fire, humor, and refusal to follow his rules immediately upset his perfectly managed world.
Their chemistry is off the charts from the moment she steps onto the mountain. Dario’s dominance meets Judith’s defiance in a push-and-pull tussle that is equally tense and tempting. Anderson makes their dynamic irresistible by demonstrating exactly how Judith challenges Dario’s control and how soon he realizes that he loves her surrender more than he ever thought he would.
But under the steam and fighting, a warm holiday heart lives. Judith heats up Dario’s solitary world, and Dario gives her the stability and refuge she has been secretly longing for. That “strictly business” marriage soon becomes personal, emotional, and very much up for grabs, even though both promise it’s only until Christmas.
The snowstorms, the forced closeness, the decorated cabin, the emotional slips neither wants to admit it all makes a fast-paced, festive romance full of heat, humor, and heart.
By the time the contract expires, one thing is clear: Dario can't keep Judith out of his playroom or even his heart.

I like how this town welcomes newcomers, and it's beautiful at Christmastime. MMC, who celebrates Christmas, doesn't need persuasion. Nice development of a relationship with little stumbles, but being honest and admitting feelings, with the goal of partnership, they become a strong couple in love.
None of the documents say what kind of marriage is acceptable and what isn't. Why should a marriage of convenience not be accountable in this story? There are many marriages with some kind of deal, or where one partner agrees for love but the other deceives them for their own agenda. That type of marriage should also count as fraud and be easy to annul.

They find love, compromise, and true partnership. Their chemistry was pure fire and the ending was so happy. I adored this couple and their story.

Dario needs a wife in order to get his inheritance and an online ad leads him to Judith. A win-win solution for both as she needs a husband to escape some family drama. He's a control freak but there's no way he's able to control her. Lots of troupes in this one and plenty of steam. Some BDSM, a fake marriage, snowed in together and opposites attract. A cute story that will draw you in at the beginning and keep your interest until the HEA at the end. I liked how these two met, they both got something from their arrangement and both were strong characters. There was something between them from the start, one moment sparked something more, when they started opening up that's when things began to evolve. I liked seeing their relationship develop, the support they had and how they stood together through the tough times. I also liked seeing the changes being together brought out in them and seeing them get their HEA.

I loved this book, from the start. When you mix a will with marriage stipulations and needing a husband to escape family drama the answer seems obvious right? A contract for a mail-order bride to secure his inheritance seems like a great idea, until Judith, a curvy city girl who doesn't take orders easily disrupts his carefully laid life. What happens when a dominant mountain man discovers how responsive she becomes under his firm guidance.

I really liked this one. I am like every woman out there that enjoys the HEA, and heart felt moments. That being said. it’s not often I am captured by Christmas books due to them being over whimsical that it’s unbelievable. Dario and Judith story was beautiful. I will definitely be re-reading this one.

What a fantastic change of pace for a mountain man romance. Dario needs a wife to secure his mountain inheritance and Judith has to escape her ex and legal threats from breaking the engagement. Posting and ad and excepting the arrangement as a business deal, Judith and Dario discovered that life is bettered shared. Great series.

Dario needed a wife to save his land before Christmas. Judith needed a husband before Christmas to save her from paying a million dollars to a no-good ex. They were a perfect match for each other in this marriage business arrangement. Neither one of them expected for real feeling to develop and get in the way of the agreement. I loved reading this story and how Dario and Judith were willing to fight against all odds for true love.
Mountain Man Christmas Series story of Dario Wallace and Judith Mars. I loved how strong Judith becomes with the help of Dario and how they find a romance and happily every after together. The ending was so sweet and just perfect.

Loved this temporary marriage romance. Dario needed wife for inheritance, and Judith needed escape and marriage to get out of agreement. Quite intense arrangement that didn’t go as planned. In many meanings. Intense short read, dominant mountain man and his arranged wife go for forever.
